The Anchor And Foundation #20

THE ANCHOR AND FOUNDATION – NEAL FRISBY VIDEO SERMON #1022 1/5/92 AM

Now, this morning, did you know, as we said, we’re crossing into 1992, and that’ll be on this television for those that see it here. And also, if you notice on the news, the seventh eclipse of this year, from January to January took place and the most you can have is six at any one time, but from January to January, there were seven of them. And what a year, the newsmen said, they have never seen a year like this before. As you’ll notice, the scripture said for the news, beforehand and also up in there would be really events taking place, and that’s written in one of the scrolls in there. They said more have taken place in the last year, in one year, than we’ve seen in decades. And as we told them, way ahead of time in the 90s, will be explosive, quick, fast, more would happen in a few years than happened probably in a whole century before it gets finished. And it reveals to you, behold, that it comes quickly. Something is up. When the newsmen say, never have they seen anything like it. So between, maybe we put some pictures of how they took place, there’s some of them on here. Seven of them. And what a year it has been. We’ve never seen anything like it. And between the 6th and 7th, look what happened to Russia and the changes over there. And plus that, the next seven years, as I wrote, there’s a meaning to all of this, that God is telling his people and the world, sober up. How many of you believe that? It said, be alert! You know, he’s going to come when they’ve lost interest.

Glory to God. But his people never lose interest. How many of you believe that?

1. Now, let’s get started on this and perhaps we can get a few of those on there. Definitely, Jesus himself, the great One that mapped the heavens and knows all about them without getting into anything that’s false. He said in Luke 21:25, I’ll give you those signs in the heavens, you see them and I’m coming soon. Now, the anchor and foundation, the scriptures, is that anchor, the foundation, the Holy Spirit in there. Now in a world that is gradually breaking up and falling apart, and the people are also the same way, in great perplexity, in these crises, we have a sure foundation now. How many of you believe that? And if the United States would stay right with the word of God, there’d be never no such foundation given, even in the best times of Israel, hardly, Sure foundation. By faith, Jesus gives us peace and assurance, plus guidance. Oh, let it be so always for the elect of God. Now, the nations are confused, but not the Lord’s people or him. He’s not confused and we’re not confused. You say amen? Now, we’re going to read some scriptures and I’m going to do a lot of the promises I have preached from. I want this on television because we’ve got them mostly all on audio and we’ll just show different pictures, you know, from nature and so forth like that. And I’ll try to get them all on here, but they will really help each one through this year.

Perhaps we can put it on audio later when God tells us to. Now, let’s look at these scriptures here and see where we stand with this right here. And Hebrews 6:19 and 2 Timothy 2:19, you know, I wrote this, you’ll find a little piece of this, these scripts, prophecies were telling of events, some of them horrible, that I decided to insert this in the middle, to kind of give them some, some anchor and so forth. The shifting sands of man’s world produce insecurity, instability, despondency, and finally, they produce the final sentence of death. Now, what a wonderful privilege to turn to the infallible word of God and find the anchor of the Christian is both sure and steadfast.

2. Hebrews 6:19, I wrote in there, and a shaky and uncertain world. We know that the foundation of God standeth sure, 2nd Timothy 2:19. It’s going to shake some more from these scriptures that God’s given us here. Have patience, therefore, brethren, I’ll shake heaven and earth, It is coming, how absolute are those scriptures. What a wonderful privilege to turn to the word of God for an anchor, steadfast and sure. Now we’re going to put this on television, get through here. Now you know what? As we do this right here, it’ll help you to start the year off right. It’ll strengthen you in the coming year to go over all of these scriptures. Now you run, you probably run into people and they, sometimes they say, where are all the promises of God? Where are the promises of God? You know, and some of these are church people. Well, it’s right under their nose if they’ll get the Bible out and just read it for a while, they’ll find promise after promise, after promise, after promise. The organizations, they don’t know where they’re at, but they’re in the scriptures there, most of them there. And here, listen to this right here, I’m trying to get all of these on here and they’ll help you right here. Now the promises of the kingdom, the disciples are given the knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven because it is unto you that I give the mysteries of the kingdom of God.

But unto those others that don’t believe, they do not receive it. Now all the mysteries of God are given to us. And if you’ll get in that Bible sincerely or listen really to the word of God, those mysteries will open up one by one, two by two, and so forth down to it until you’ll see why the world’s in the situation that it’s in and how close the coming of the Lord is. And how to perform the miracles and power that he gives us and the daily lives of steadfastness and stay right there in a sound mind. Now the keys of the kingdom of heaven are given, and I will give unto you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, Matthew 16:19. On that one, the keys, the keys to the kingdom of heaven. My, did you know that gets in, well, in the heavens even, I’ll give you the keys to that. I’ll give you the keys to the Bible here, the keys to the revelation, the keys of the Holy Spirit, the keys in the gifts, I will give you the keys out to the kingdom of heaven. You know, people, they go in the city and the mayors and all that and they give the keys to the city and so forth. Did you know you’re more important? Don’t even know it? He gives you the keys to the kingdom of God. How many of you believe that? Sometimes that’s Satan’s ways of giving the keys to the city, giving the keys to this, keys to that, to offset the greatest golden key that we’ve ever seen which is the promises of God. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of God. How many don’t want to pick up the key or just slung it out there? He gives them to you there. And when the signs are fulfilled, the kingdom of God, God will come, according to the scriptures it said. Oh, and it’s the Holy Spirit’s pleasure, the Father, to give you the kingdom and Jesus the same way, to give you the kingdom of God; that he’s got coming for you. It’s his pleasure. He has created something. And these promises, he knows who’s going to inherit those promises. He knows exactly who you are, and he will have joy in what he does. How great the blessings of God are, the blessed to inherit the kingdom, amen. The righteous, to shine forth in the kingdom of God, like great light, it says in the Bible there. You will shine forth in the kingdom of God. What a promise. Christ shall sit down; He shall eat and drink with the disciples. So we find out afterwards that he can even do that. Promises of the kingdom, they go on and on and we’re not able to give them all. They’re so great and so powerful and so many promises of his coming.

3. Now the Bible said this, he shall come again to receive his people and he will come and he will receive, and he will take you off this planet. Then it says he shall come forth as lightning as it shines from the east to the west. That’s over Armageddon. That’s at the time that he comes again. His promises to the Jews are good, He will come. These scriptures, you can designate them and he will be back as lightning from the east to the west. But first, when he comes to get the elect, nobody, but the elect sees anything at that time. Now, he shall come again. The blessing promised to the watchful servant is not promised to those that are not watching. It is promised to those that are watchful and the servants that are watchful that are giving meat in due season. And like I said at the beginning of this sermon, or the Lord put it in there, he will come. When most of the major churches have lost interest in his coming, they may say this and that, but did you know, because of what we have in the world, and just flip, turn here and see this, do that, do this, go here, go there, do you know lesser and lesser that cares of life is wiping that out? I say unto you, it’s getting closer and closer, and they can not see it, and that’s when he said in an hour, you think not. When they’ve lost interest, here he will come to that elect, how great, how wonderful he is, he knows just how to do that. And so, the blessings are promised to the watchful servants, it said, the wise servant to be made ruler over all, and I can quote all the scriptures, but there’s so many you’d never understand them, but they’re in the Bible here. The wise servant to be made ruler over all, that listens to him there. And my lands, and Christ will come, and he will do those things, how great he is. This sermon here, I don’t want you to forget it, that we’ve got here is the anchor and foundation. Boy, it’s steadfast and sure in a shaky, uncertain world, you can count on him now. He will not let you down. Right here, let’s see what he will do for the promises to him who keeps the commandments of God. He shall be called great, that’s what the Lord said. You keep all of those, and if you’ve broken some of them, you have to repent. But if you keep the commandments and the promises of God, he shall be called great. That’s exactly right in the Bible there. You know, John the Baptist was called great, but under mercy in the kingdom of God in our age, he said, he won’t reach some of the elect. How many of you believe that? In a certain way, the Lord said that. Now, he shall be known as a wise man, because he’s on a rock. He’s not shifting sand then, because he’s doing what the Lord says.

He shall be loved by the Father, the three manifestations, he shall be loved by the Lord Jesus, and all of that. Jesus said that he would abode and live with them that abide in these promises. That is a promise that he gives there, He shall abide in my love. That’s another promise, if you want it. And then you shall abide in him, My words abide in you. He shall be your friend, like he was to Abraham. You know him as your Savior, you know him as the eternal God, the giver of good life. But have you ever known him as a friend? And you can pray in certain ways, and he’ll come to you as a friend when you’re broken-hearted. He’ll come to you like you would have some, what we say, familiar, a buddy, a comrade, a great one. And he will come as a friend, where the rest may make fun, the rest may be against you for certain reasons, gossip or something else. But if you really get a hold of him, he’ll be your friend in that. He won’t give you any bad advice, either. And you’ll feel that friendliness that no one else can give, or that you can’t get anywhere else. He’s a friend. He knows what he’s doing here. He’ll be my friend, it says here. Amen.

4. He’ll have the right to the tree of life. That’s Jesus Christ. And all of the things that he has in heaven they’re promises to the believer, he that cometh to Christ he shall in no wise cast out. You have to leave him, and you have to go out on your own. But if you come to him, you sinner here today, or if you’re coming with some kind of a problem, he will in no wise cast you out, in no wise, no way possible. You have to do that by rejection or some other way. But he won’t do it. You shall not perish nor waste away, but you will live forever as the scriptures say. You’ve passed the promises, from death unto life when you receive Him. You shall be raised by faith and salvation, you shall never die. Promises to him that follows the Lord. He shall have the light of life. If you follow, that light will lead you. He shall have eternal life. He shall find his life instead of losing it. He shall have treasure in heaven. And upon this earth he shall have as much as a hundredfold at certain times. That’s right. He’s stored all up in heaven or you can receive it here too at the same time. Shall be a fisher of men, thou shall be able to catch men and witness, thou shall talk to all of them. Maybe at the time you talk to them it doesn’t make any difference, maybe the next time that something occurs, that some troubles or tragedy in their lives, some earthquakes or any kind of weather pattern or something, they may change their tunes. And what you told them may bring very fruitful things at the end of the age too, in the great tribulation. You never know, What you say, you shall be fishers of men.

You know, what you see saved all the time ain’t all that gets saved, amen. And what you are saved, sometimes doesn’t stick. But I can tell you what, if you witness, to a number of people, there are going to be some of them there. The word of God will not return void. You keep it up. You’re going to have a reward. That’s exactly right. Promises of the bread of life, which is Christ. The bread giveth life unto the world. See they reject it. He that eateth shall never hunger, Shall not die, Shall live forever, Shall have eternal life. The promises go on and on and on there, you know. Listen to the promise that I want to get back to, just in a moment here, where it was in here, if I can find it, I will surely read it here. Yeah, your promise of rewards, well, rewards will be great and a number of different things. Listen to this right in here, but love ye your enemies and do good and lend, not hoping again, because sometimes you never know, but there’s scriptures that people don’t take advantage of you. And it says your reward shall be great and you shall be the children of the highest. Now watch this. How many ever keep all this up? It’s kind of hard.

Now, for He, that’s God. Now listen to this, now, why he said that. For God is kind unto the unthankful. He is also kind to evil. You see him just going out there? That’s what he says. So how much you ought to help out once in a while in there. That’s Luke 6:35, I believe it is there. He is kind, if not, there wouldn’t be a sinner left right now, as much as he’s given them. And those that are unthankful, He’d wipe them all out nearly. And some in Christianity. How many of you are with me now? He had a reason. So I come back to that. That’s in the scriptures there. Amen.

5. Now you have, shall dwell in Christ. Shall live by Christ and not yourself, but by Christ. Promises of the resurrection. Those of the resurrection of the just shall be recompensed. You’ll be rewarded. You’ll be raised. Shall live unto God. Shall be quickened by the Son, that’ll happen. Shall have part in the resurrection of life. Don’t let the scripture stumble you, says the Lord, It was put there for a reason. How many of you believe that? It’s exactly right. Nothing, nothing in the Word of God that he puts in there is not there for a reason. But you must take it by faith. Carnal reasoning, human reasoning, or any kind of other reasoning, it doesn’t work and it never will work. Only the spiritual aspect, leaves the rest to God. And it’ll work for you. How many of you believe that? We do see the mercies on the nation, or they’d all been wiped out because he’s good to them, to the unthankful, he’s good to the evil. Many times on this earth is what it meant. Amen. And sometimes you have to love your enemies, and there’s a great reward in that, the Bible said. That’s what he wants to get over to you. And you just leave it to the Lord. And sometimes if you do that, maybe we’ll even come across a promise here. And so, he shall be raised up at the last day, shall have part in the resurrection of life. Amen. And though he was dead, yet shall he live. And that promise is as good as any promise you’ll ever get in John 11:25 there. Though you would die, yet shall he live. Come on forth, Lazarus, come out there and show them what I can do. With a name, let the Son get up and walk about and show them what I can do. And Jesus, living in another dimension, he raised forth from the dead, looked at them there in that dimension. His promises are true and they’re reality. Human nature and Satan are just the opposite of the promises of God. In fact, Satan is the opposite of what the living God is. That’s why he was created, to show you the opposite of the reality of what God is. He’s the opposite. How many of you believe that? Sure. That’s exactly right. So he will do that. Promises of the Holy Spirit. That’s promised. Some of them, there are many of the promises of the resurrection there.

Promises of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit shall be given to those that ask. If you open up your heart, and in your heart you ask, did you know the rays of the Holy Spirit are all over you? The rest is done by faith, shall be given. It is in you. It’s up to you to allow the manifestation to come out. Human body works with the anointing of God until the two come together. And they finally find a place together. And when they do, utterances of the Holy Spirit will come out, whether it’s men’s tongues, of angels or what, of the Holy Spirit. It will come out.

Many times, faith miracles will follow. But it is given to those that ask. He’s not a liar,

It’s given. It’s like, everyone that asks. But you’ve got to believe you receive it in such a way that it does take place Amen! and it will take place. It’s there, the moment you ask.

6. The Spirit shall be a well of water, springing up. There’ll be waves of it going through the system, if you get it just right. Sometimes it’ll be quiet, just like some kind of still water, stuff like that and then it’ll spring up. It’ll spring up, it’ll spring up. And it says here, water will spring up within you, from the believers shall flow rivers. Not only that, but you’ll have rivers running in every direction of all types of blessings of the Lord. Those are his promises and he will give you the Comforter that will abide forever. Now that’s the truth, once you receive that Holy Spirit, Satan may beat you around, knock you around, and you may think you’re not worthy of it. But there are times no one’s worthy of it. Amen. I don’t care what they do. But that Holy Spirit, he is there, and he will abide forever. It’s kind of like when we started, you know, you have to reject him, I shall in no-wise cast you out. That Spirit that so many take so lightly is of such great comfort and when used properly, It will really, really help. And the type of age and uncertainty that we live in today, it’s steadfast,It’s an anchor. It has a sure foundation that’s right. Nothing else, nothing else. All else will be on sinking sand, It won’t work. Remember that as we enter this new year, God’s revealing, he’s telling us what to do. And so, we read down here, the Comforter, the disciples invited to receive the Holy Spirit. The promise of it, to be sent. How great and how wonderful the Lord is. The other promise is, the Holy Spirit will reprove the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, much in the world. Many in the world will be reproved of it. And the elect will receive it, but that’s his job. The Holy Spirit is a source of the new birth. You receive salvation through the Holy Spirit, in the name of the Lord Jesus, they work together. They are together. They are One. That’s exactly right. And the Holy Spirit is a source, It blows like the wind here and there, and you neither know anything about it, but it’s picking up what it comes to get. He shall quicken the believer, shall testify. Now, you get much of the Holy Spirit, you can’t help. It may hold it down for a while, but you can’t help. Like the old prophet Jeremiah said, Boy, it’s burning my bones up, and they can’t shut me up. They put me in a well, they try to kill me, and I can’t shut my mouth up. That’s exactly right. It’s bound. He shall testify of Christ and tell him that the Spirit is of truth, amen; shall teach you all things whatsoever in the keys to the kingdom of God, that’s exactly right. Shall guide you into all truth, and show you things to come. He will do it for you, and through one means or another. Some of it, we know this in the preaching, he showed us things to come. And all types of things out of the message, you’ll see yourself. Possibly wasn’t all of it explained, but it is in revelation, in such a way that it just lights up. It will come out. He will show you things to come. He will give power to witness, not only to tell about Christ and how wonderful and great he is, but to witness all of his marvelous things, the promises of the Holy Spirit.

7. The promises of Christ’s presence shall be with the believer until the end of the age and shall not depart. Shall be in the midst of the believers, shall come to comfort the believers, he will come and he will comfort them. Though Christ goeth away, he cometh again into the believer as a Comforter, the Holy Spirit. The Son to manifest himself to the believers. Notice believers, believers, believers, believers. It is those that are active believers in their soul. Do you really believe that? It’s exactly right. Oh, there’s anointing so precious this morning, and I’m getting it all together so that you can be both steadfast, anchored, and sure to the Word of God, and his promises. Although it’s hard sometimes for people to grasp them, to get a hold of them, they come in cycles, it seems like, sometimes to a greater degree, maybe so in your life. Church age shows it in restoration, revival, and so forth like that. But they will not fail, and they will be true. No matter if you miss one or two, you’ll strike, and you’ll hit it with the Lord, and so he will. To be manifest to him, believers, to be with the believers, there. My, how great and how wonderful these promises of God are. Promises to answer prayer. Little children, I don’t care about how old they are, whatever your age, middle age, it doesn’t make any difference. You can get your prayers answered, no matter how little. If you can utter from your mouth and thoughts towards God, no matter how old, you get your prayers answered; if you hold on to that sure foundation, steadfast. He that asketh, receiveth. There it is, and I already said it. It’s exactly right, Matthew 7:8. How much more shall the Father give good gifts? If you know how to give gifts to your little children, how much more will the Holy Spirit, the Heavenly Father, give gifts to those that ask? See, you receive it, but your faith isn’t quite strong enough sometimes to hold them all. But it’s there.

8. You’re walking through them, around them, sitting on them, and everything else. They’re right there. But see, you have to have a way to channel that, all of a sudden. It’s there. By divine purpose, how many gifts of God. All things you ask, believing, you shall receive, but asking believing, not just asking, that doesn’t work. All things you ask, believing, you receive. That’s attached to that, how great it is. If any two agree, and then agree in the Spirit, saith the Lord, now, not just any two get together and think something up, but if any two agree, and then agree with the Spirit, in such a way they shall have what they ask. They can bind in heaven and loose in heaven, bind on earth and loose in earth. That’s exactly right, the promises of those that continue in their maturity, where there looks like no way, you just keep knocking until God tells you otherwise. You just keep moving in providence, and you finally get him like the judge, you get him to do something for you. Promise to those who pray and faint not for the things that you want God to do upon this earth; and for the things that you have on your heart and your mind, if you faint not, or give up. It means, if you don’t just give up, you hold on, you might not get them all sometimes, but he’s going to see it. If you don’t faint, some of those problems and some of those things will come to pass. Sometimes I’ve prayed for many women that’s traveled all the way from overseas to get prayed for, they couldn’t have children, trying for five, six, seven, eight, ten, twelve, fifteen years sometimes. I’ve had them come in the crusades, in different places, right in front of the prayer lines, and the doctor would tell them sometimes that they couldn’t get pregnant or they didn’t know why, and sometimes there’s something wrong with some of them, and I’ve seen people continue. If a woman wants a child, you can’t stop her hard, you can’t shut her up. If she can get God loose in that, if she can get God in that thing, she’s going to have one. She might think twice after she gets it, but she’s going to have one, and then that opens up the whole thing. She may have four or five of them, see, and say, oh, my. And the Lord said, you ask and you receive. You asked me to do all this, you got it started, now the Lord’s the only one to stop it. Can you say amen? But I’ve seen them, and because they faint not, just keep knocking, keep believing. I’ve had them come over to my platform and tell them, you know, for many years they tried, and all of a sudden now, he’d give them a little man child, a little girl, something like that, and they’d have a little baby. They faint not, but they continue. That’s exactly right.

9. Now, I do believe in providence. Sometimes there’s a certain come, and a certain go, without children, we don’t understand all of that. Sometimes that occurs, too, at many times. We know in the life of Abraham how long Sarah had to wait. And we see all of those things that God does, and different ones that have happened to him. Finally, some of them God answers their prayers, even though it’s late there. So you need to agree, promise to faint not, pray and faint not, abide in Christ and it shall be done. Now, those are promised, to answer prayer, promise to those who ask in Jesus’ name. Whatsoever you ask in my name, I will do it, point blank. Ask anything in my name, I will most certainly do it. Some people don’t have to ask in his name. They don’t know that in that name is the Godhead, in that name is all of it. Where can you go any more? You want to pray over here to this one and pray over there to that God and this God and that God? He’s got it locked up, locked up stock and barrel. How many of you believe that? That’s exactly right. Ask anything in my name. He’s like, he’s a great commander and authority, and if you go anywhere else, you’re not going to get anything.

That’s how he says it right there. Ask anything in my name. Ask anything in my name, He says, whatsoever you ask, I will do. Whatever you ask in my name, I will give. Ask in my name (Jesus Christ) that your joy be full.

10. On that day, you shall ask in my name and shall receive. These signs shall follow them in my name, these signs shall follow those that believe. All of the signs, the cripples, the miracles, the dead, whatever happens at the time of providence, that God wants it done. These signs that we see daily in the miraculous that the Bible gives us that Jesus did, these works shall you do, and greater works than these shall you do in the Bible. They’re the keys to the kingdom of God, part of it. And they are for the children. They’re gifts from God, and they’re given to us. Why refuse what God has given us in power, and then be like the world out there? It doesn’t do it that way. These are miracles of faith, and they’re given to you. Even through great tests and trials, you’ll be tested by Lucifer, but you win each one of those, and you’ll grow powerful. And you’ll get more miracles every time that you win there, faint not. And faint not, you’ll bless your heart. Promises of the infinite possibilities of faith, boy, that’s reaching on out. We’ve seen what Jesus did, and some he could do that he did not do, that he didn’t want to upset the thing with such great miracles, that he did just enough to keep that balance of faith in there, and they were really great. And the possibilities are infinite. Well, you can take that faith in a dimension, and that mortal body will change. Glorified light will come in, wow, into another dimension, it’s too great to even go into it. All things are possible to the believer, Jesus said. You said, did he say all things? That’s what he said. Boy, what promises! Those were uttered out of the mouth of God, and the Word was with God, the Word was with God, and the word was God. And then it said he dwelt in human flesh and spoke in fire (John 1:1,verse 14), and settled it right there. Nothing, nothing shall be impossible. Faith will pluck up a tree by its roots and plant it in the sea. You know, on the spot where he was standing there, evidently, probably when, and the other dimension, faith will remove a mountain, will probably take place at the end of the age while He still spoke. But did you ever try to grow a tree in the sea? He said, that boy, I can do it for you, in salt water, I’ll make the thing grow. He put it out there, boy! , have faith in God, whosoever shall say, will have whatsoever he saith, if he doubts not, in his heart. I’ve seen the times when people’s feet reach high in a meeting, sometimes we have it happening here. It’s just one miracle, one prayer after another is answered from the living God. He shall have whatsoever he saith. I’ve seen bones replaced, things created, crooked eyes changed, all of a sudden something you saw disappear. How great and how marvelous! In the love that we’ve been in, even the healing ministries across the nation, because there’s so much radicalism; and things that are occurring out there. That people are just kind of, for the cares of this life. The ministries are kind of set back from what it was. But we were promised to expect another explosion of great miracles, even though we’re having them now. They’ve never quit, they’ve always been miracles, since this revival. God gave us miracles here and so forth through history, those who can believe. But when you have it like a delay, you know, so forth in there, he’s getting some things done and he’s going to come back and sweep those that believe right in the kingdom of God.

Believe you receive and you shall receive, believe and you shall see the glory of God. Not only the glory of God around, if your eyes are opened, but when he said it in this particular scripture, he said, lose him, that is Lazarus, and let him go. Although he’s been dead for four days, it didn’t matter. Lose him, he’ll come out of there talking; glory, hallelujah, what: My, God come down among us, some of them said, and then a little bit later on they’d say something else. My, my, how great he was there and everything. And so, and these works and greater works than these shall you do, little children. He said, I’ll come back as the Spirit, is one of my promises and I’ll help you along there.

11. Promises of dominion over Satan. Jesus gives power, all power over the enemy. You have the binding power. You shall cast out devils in my name, my, and they must go, my. And certain demons, hard, strong, powerful demons will have to leave. In certain cases you have to fast a little bit for those; or a man that is anointed. They’ll come forth and they’ll come out of there. At Calvary, our promise, and He gave us a promise, He defeated Satan at Calvary, glory to God. Christ gave us freedom from all power that Satan has. Power over the curse, power over sickness, power over sin, he gave us power to break that, and to help others. How great and how wonderful He is. He said, the children of Abraham, ought not this woman to be loosed from these bonds and set free? He told them she was stooped over, he touched her, freed the woman, lifted up straight, and praised God.

The man’s hand was like this, and he said, Stretch forth thine hand. His hand came out and looked at him like that. Now where’s his adversary? You see, they didn’t understand. If they didn’t want to believe, they didn’t believe it if they looked right at it. How many of you believe it? You’ve got to believe it anyway. Believe it, believe it. And so, those promises, how great and how wonderful. And sure, it says here, Give and it shall be given in full measure unto your bosom, I will work for you in every way. It says here, and give and receive, in those that come into everlasting habitation, as a reward. Give and you shall be blessed. Give and you shall have treasure in heaven. You’ll be recompensed in the resurrection.

Those are promises that God gave, promises to those that were persecuted for righteousness sake. Great is your reward if you’re persecuted for me, and not offended because of you preaching about me. Great is your reward in heaven. And you continue, under persecution, on the job, wherever you’re at, in the city or the town, wherever you’re preaching. Great is your reward. If you’re persecuted for Christ’s sake, he’s going to give you a reward. You shall be saved, it said, there’s no way out. Not a hair of your head shall perish. I will give you wisdom in the hour of need. You shall be confessed before all heaven. He shall be confessed before the angels of God. Blessed are ye when all men shall hate you because of me. What promises? People overlook, where are the promises of God? I’ve only got one percent, maybe less, a lot less than that. Where are the promises of God? You know, looking around, they are everywhere, saith the Lord, in the Bible. They are there, couched, some of them, but they are there, and many right out in the open, so well that they can’t even see them because they are out in the open so much, you cannot believe it there.

12. So we have that right there, promises to those that are meek, promises of abundant life. You have communion with Christ, life and life more abundantly. The knowledge of God’s will. You have rest for your soul, you have peace promised with Christ. You have the joy of the Lord. The gates of Hades shall not prevail against you. These are the promises of abundant life there. And they are the promises of the overcomer. The overcomer shall eat of the tree of life, shall not be hurt of the second death. How many of you believe that? Amen. Names shall be written in stone, and other promises in the Bible. No wonder Paul said, I am more than a conqueror, through Christ. I can do all things through Christ Jesus, and that’s what you should be today; more than a conqueror. And you too, sitting in those seats out there, these promises are yea and amen to every one of you, there’s no way to back out of them. And they are given to the believer. They’re not given to those that don’t want to believe, but they are given to the believer. They are his, can you say amen? That’s exactly right. Well, they are given to the world, but they first have to believe, before they become theirs. And so the believer has them. Now with all of these promises and miracles and promises here, what can you do for God? How great and how powerful he is, because look, we moved on into a new year, and boy are we getting closer, as we move towards that century. At any time, in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, Jesus’ return can occur. The anchor and foundation, you have a sure anchor, a steadfast anchor, and a sure foundation in God. In an uncertain world, you have the keys, saith the Lord, to the kingdom of God. Give him a handclap. Praise the Lord Jesus, Great!
