NOW TODAY, IN ALL THE SPORTS they have caught diseases, committed the worst crimes we’ve seen and some have been glorified. But to make a long story short. let us not forget David. He wouldn’t back down from a giant and as a little boy he slew him (I Sam. 17:49.) While watching his sheep he rent a lion and a bear, like Samson. Anyone worship another god or idols had better move further than the next county! He would destroy the God-haters. But then after his great battles look what happened. He fell into the same trap. (II Sam. Chap. 2) He saw Bathsheba. And in the idleness of his great victory made a great mistake, but God forgave him. It seems the Lord shows us a trend even in Scriptural times! Will we ever see sports back as a good example for children? It’s the way the media, money and the glorification has been permitted; the great idol of certain player. Also as the antichrist rises the bloodshed will be much greater. And during the Great Tribulation if one does not agree they will have to flee- for their lives! Just before the end of the last part of the tribulation blood will pour in the streets (Rev. 14: 20, blood will run 200 miles up to the horses bridles) and the churches and whole nations will be uprooted. Rev. 11. You can be sure; it will be so horrific it will be worse than Pagan Rome. (Read James 5: 1-6 and Rev. chapters 17 and 18)
SCANDAL IN ALL SPORTS CONTINUES.- God shows the same significance. If you notice in the soccer games, especially overseas, sometimes the teams that win or lose create a massive stampede. As much as 50,000 have been trampled and thousands died. Bloodshed again in sports. It seems that people are craving the violence in it. Our children are being guided into a spirit of violence. Boxing has been full of scandals, fixed fights, bloodshed and bad examples in every way one can think of. And afterwards they’d go out and you’d read about their escapades. In basketball they’ve even thrown them out through windows. With so much money it’s caused them to be idolized that they themselves create scandals for more recognition. A bad state indeed! In the music world the Rolling Stones had riots, rebellion, drugs and shootings. Some they’ve had to close down. Even after college football games they’ve turned over cars, burned down buildings! Police couldn’t control the mobs. – In the other parts of this important writing we show the vital parts of what causes it. In wrestling it has, been built up into a violent game even involving women in the sport, bloody in likewise manner and some even boxing! Cage fighting is kill or be killed! Carrying things too far. The running of the bulls in Spain is another bloody. sport. When they turn the bulls loose they run in front of them, get run over, gored, trampled on – death and another bloody mess. The world is ending as Scriptures foretold!
Notice: The Lord did not skip the Bible in some of the same-like ways as you have read in some of the stories. There is a trend that He reveals in the parallel of it. The Lord allowed exercise in different sports for health, but not for worship or being misused in lewdness, etc. As the great Apostle said, “[ run the race towards the prize.” Amen!
Throughout sports history we have had a few real dedicated Christians that left a good example. Today we still have a few who are dedicated to Christ and what sports really mean. Let us pray for those and the youth.

We know there is an angel with him to bring a message to God’s People! (The Lord has bestowed upon His servant an unusual gift of miracles with power to create.)
