Neal Frisby’s Sermon Comforting Words CD #1394 11-27-

Praise the Lord. Glad you all got here tonight. You feel good? Yeah, he’s
talking about all the prophecies, biblical too, and all the type prophecies
that the people are able to see today. But the only ones that’s going to
make a difference, the only ones that love what is coming to pass are
the ones that are going away with Jesus. That doesn’t mean everybody
out there in Christendom, everybody out there in Pentecost is going to
love the prophecies of God that are coming to pass. But those people
that are going away with Him, boy, they know something is up! Amen.
They know it in their hearts.
Lord Jesus, Lord, we enter thy gates, Lord, and in thy great pavilion, we
enter with praise and thanksgiving, Lord. We have one more night, one
more time, Lord, to witness. And we know your hands are upon thy
people as never before.
All they have to do, Lord, is use a little faith and they can feel your power
and your anointing. Now touch each heart, Lord. Guide each one the
rest of this year. Keep them close to thy Spirit, Lord, for at any time
those clouds could bust wide open. You will be there for us, and we will
meet you. Give the Lord a hand clap. Thank you, Jesus. I can stay that
way forever, waiting for it. Oh boy, that felt good. You will believe the
Lord does special things. He certainly does when you get in that Word.
That felt, when I said we would meet Him in there, it implied it’s just like I
stopped right there and gone! Amen. Give the Lord a hand clap. Great!
God bless your heart. Go ahead and be seated. Now, we get down here
tonight a little bit on this message here and see what the Lord has. It
kind of came to me because I’ve preached so much prophecy and so
forth and the way that I’ve been revealing it and I was kind of wondering
to the Lord about so many messages telling them You are coming and
so forth. And it’s right in line with this word, though. But I’ll get to that in a
moment.
- Now, Comforting words. Comforting words. Now, faith in God is a
comfort. It is confidence. It is peace. It is rest. Faith in the world, faith in
some individuals, and faith in your government, and faith in a populace,
that doesn’t work so good. There is no comfort in that. But it has to be in
the Lord. And like I said, I’ve been preaching messages about the coming
of the Lord and telling that His appearing will be soon and I was
wondering about it to the Lord. You know He just guided me. I was
reading the Bible and going along there. And pretty soon as I was
thinking about all that, He just happened to come right along there. And I
said, well, then it caught me at the bottom because I didn’t read it all, read
it so much. And then it caught me at the bottom there. I preach about
the coming of the Lord for two different reasons, so that you will
prepare and that time is up. I believe I have been called to tell them
time is up. We don’t know the exact date, but I can tell you this, it’s
closer than anybody ever realizes. And in this decade, I believe you
better do what you’re going to do for the Lord and do it quickly
because He is going to come. So anyway, that’s true.
- And then there is another reason. And the Lord began to lead me to what
the reason was. I said, Well, really, really, a lot of people don’t want to
hear it. They show that when you have a revival, they don’t want to hear
that. A lot of people don’t want to hear about your coming. He said,
“They’re not ready to meet me. They don’t want to meet me, but I will
appear to those that love my appearing.” How many of you believe that?
He’s going to come that way. That’s Him. Sometimes you might think it’s
sharp, smart, and cutting. It’s the Holy Spirit and He is getting a hold of
the people, and He is kind of shaking things up and shaking them apart
one way or the other because He is getting His people ready and He
knows how to do it better than anybody else. - And so, as I was doing that, there is another reason besides preparing and
time is closing out and that reason is in our age that we live in, as far as
that goes, the age is somewhat before it ever got to us, but now more than
ever in the history of the world, there’s this scripture for us because it is
for the people at the end of the age. Let’s read it before we get in the
message here and actually all the words along here are not really a
message of mine tonight because I preached on it before, but only the last
verse in here. And we will read it together 1 Thessalonians 4 : 16 –18,
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout
[Something’s taking place there in the message], with the voice of an
archangel [See, getting ready to do something. All them mean one, two,
three, they mean things] with the trump of God, going to gather them,
see. And the dead in Christ shall rise first. A lot took place in those verses
which I have described in the Tabernacle of Light, I believe, as we
preached on that right there. Now, what I would like to bring out besides
the message is, oh, there’s a message in all of that. It says, for the Lord
Himself. Now, Paul said if an angel’s coming, or if somebody says they
are coming in the place of God, some prophet’s coming to raise you, some
apostle is going to come and raise you, don’t believe it. The Lord
Himself is going to come. - And you say, “Well, who is that? That’s why Paul put it there in the book
of Acts. This same Jesus will come again that you see go away. And all
through the scriptures we know that in the translation and also the return
of Armageddon will be Jesus. That is the Lord Jesus. The Lord Himself,
Paul said. That’s Jesus. How many of you see the revelation? The Lord
Himself. Not a secondary or a third figure is coming. The first and the last
saith the Lord, the Alpha and Omega. The Lord Himself is coming. How
many of you believe that? This same Jesus. The angel said He will come
again. Who? The Lord Himself, Paul said. Now, there’s a revelation just
in that. It tells you who He is with that trumpet like an archangel coming
down through there. Then, we which are alive and remain. By the way,
those that come out of that grave are going to know who He is and those
on earth and yet remain alive. They are going to know who He is because
they’re going to meet face to face. It’s going to be one more sight, wow!
Then, we which are alive and remain, all of history, people have been
born, they come in different times, great prophets. God did great acts,
signs and wonders, but He has a special people in this generation who
couldn’t be born until now. He didn’t let them be born. What a privilege!
And some of them are just scoffing at it, too, out there. - What a privilege! But yet, among all those people, He has a special group
that will remain alive out of 6,000 years. They will be the ones to remain
alive. A special group, indeed, the elect of God and He chose to save
them until now. He is going to come, and they will be alive when He
comes. That is a special group, indeed. The rest had to pass on, they died
away and the rest of the world will be swept away. And in the midst of
the tribulation, saints will die, but these will be caught up alive, and “shall
be caught up alive together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in
the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4: 17).
Now, He comes down to a certain point. How close? No one knows, but
not on the ground and we go up and we meet together. One comes down,
the other goes up and we meet together, and we will be [with Him]
forever. You will never be departed from the Lord again. You will ever
be with the Lord. What? An agreement that God has given us. Oh, my,
there is nothing in the world than to ever be with the Lord. - Now, Comforting Words, the title of my sermon. Wherefore, comfort
one another with these words. And then that’s when the Lord said,
now, you preach to prepare, you preach to witness and warn, and
you preach, ah, time is up. But now, preaching the second coming of
the Lord as much as you preach it, it will bring a comfort to those
that are going to meet me. There it is, right there. There is a revelation
that many ministers, and let’s just run right over it because they’re so
excited about the coming of the Lord when He would come. But yet,
these messages are to comfort that church. So, at the end of the age, in
our modern age, the time that we live in, when we speak about the
coming of the Lord, we will be comforted with a special comfort of the
Holy Spirit, comforting words. So, each time that He brings forth a
revelation or power about the nearness of His coming, the words about
the second coming of the Lord, and there’s a lot of them in the Bible from
the Old Testament into the New Testament, there will be a special
comfort on those people that God has alive at the end of the age that He is
going to pick up. Now do you see? Comfort one another with these
words. There is comfort in those words. If you let them comfort you, you
will know then God has taken you out of this mess, the world, its wars
and crimes and famines and death, ah, and all of the fear, ah, mental
problems, all of the earth, ah. That’s what we’re in now. Comfort them
with these words, ah! He is coming to get you. Amen. So, as we preach
it, there will be a comforting that we’ve never seen before. The closer we
get to it coming, the more comfort that He is going to do [give]. And you
know, even the book of Revelation, it talks about it. Anybody that reads
that book of Revelation, it said there is a special blessing on the
reader that reads the book of Revelation. Because some of them say, I
don’t understand it. Preachers say, “I don’t want to read it. It looks
like John was in a nightmare.” No, saith the Lord, they’re going to be
in a nightmare, not John. How many of you believe it?
- He couched it on purpose like He couched His parables and when that
prophetic light hits that, ah, it’s revealed, it’s opened up, ah. And that’s
what He did it for because He has a special group again in the thunders at
the end of the age, ah, that He is going to take out. Therefore, comfort
one another with these words. So, the messages I’ve been preaching quite
a bit about, God led me in a roundabout way about why this message
came tonight. And all of a sudden, I saw on the bottom of that coming of
the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4: 16 & 17) for comfort one another with these
words (v.18). So, there’s a great comfort coming to the church when we
preach about the second coming of the Lord. We don’t preach [it in] every
sermon, but it always comes back to the end of the age. But there are
these kinds of sermons where you would preach [it] with the words of
God. There’s a comfort coming the closer that He gets in there. Oh, how
wonderful He is! And this same Jesus, the angel said, shall come again
(Acts 1: 11). Paul said, “the Lord himself.” Amen. Now, how many of
you believe that? The Lord Himself. You know who “Himself” is? That
is God, the Alpha and Omega. This same Jesus, ah, the Lord Himself is
coming again. Oh, then they’re going to find out, “My, what were we
dealing with? I thought He was just a man out there, a prophet, just a
great son of the living God. Now I know who we are dealing with, the
Almighty.” There He is. You watch and see.
- Today, Pentecost wants everything on the silver platter. Easy. No effort,
no power to pray and to believe God, to seek God. No use of faith,
secondary. See? But he that endureth the criticism, the persecution, God
is coming for and will they be rewarded? What the others have in their
pride and the way that they flaunt before God and not believe Him and
His second coming, they scoff even Pentecostals and so forth. It’s not
worth that type of feeling that they got out there and the type of gospel
that they got out there which is a program type of thing working in there.
No. It’s not worth it. But the criticism, the persecution and all that
they would put against the elect, it’s worth it all. Take it from the Lord
Jesus, it’s worth it all. Amen. They want comfort, but not the comfort of
the Holy Spirit, saith the Lord. Amen. See, as far away from that pure
Word as they can get out in there. And you know. Some of them I think
use 85% of the word, ain’t going nowhere. See. You’ve got to have
this thing planted just right in there and God knows who He is
coming to. He is coming to the 100 percenters. He’s coming to them
to believe that He is coming to them right there. So, comfort
yourselves. Listen to this right here. There is a revelation in there. God
brought two or three of them out there and I didn’t want to get to the rest
of the revelation. Boy, you get to the shout, the voice, and the trump, oh!
You are going to hold 30 minutes, an hour there. - “Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of
thine heart” (Psalm 37:4). There’s great comfort there. And you delight
yourself, you don’t go before the Lord thinking, “Well, you know, I know
He is great, but I’m not going to make such a fuss. I’m not going to make
an issue out of this to God or nothing like that.” Well, you really don’t
have to really, you know, get out of the way, but let an old heart reach up
there. Let an old soul let Him know that He is just like what His Word
said He is, regardless of what man says and the failure that people have, it
doesn’t make any difference because I am before the King now, I will get
what He wants me to have. Delight thyself. If you really believe in the
living God, there’s a delight, saith the Lord, in Him anyway. Oh my God,
man, maybe you don’t believe as strongly in the Lord as you should. That
is why you don’t feel that delight. See there it is, faith is a comfort. Faith
is a rest and peace when it’s in God and His promises. So, you delight
yourself and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Oh, but He will.
Oh, my own life so many times since I was called into ministry, I could
not put them in a book nor count the times that He gave me exactly the
desires of my heart. Many of them I never even told the people about.
There were so many good things that God had done for me, He is
wonderful! It’s just that some people are just not able to reach out and
get that kind of delight and that kind of feeling from God and the power
of God. But His coming, what you see me preach, the feeling, that power
is going to be electrified in that elect. It’s coming, the first fruits coming
through my ministry kind of like, it’s going to be on the people in such a
way we’ve never seen anything like it. Boy, what a time! Commit thy
way, see? Don’t have your own way. Don’t have anybody else’s way.
Don’t let the devil get in your way, don’t let anybody, but commit thy way
[unto the Lord] and He shall bring it to pass. A lot of people like the other
at the front (“…he shall give thee the desires of thine heart”) but they
won’t commit anything else to God, their way. Commit it to the Lord. He
shall bring it to pass. That was Psalm 37: 4).
- Now Psalms 27:5, “For in the time of trouble, he shall hide me in his
pavilion….” What is that besides a building? I remember praying tonight
and that word came in, entering the pavilion of the Lord. It’s a building,
anything shaped like a pyramid too or a tent, it’s a pavilion. But it means
something else. Hide me in His pavilion, that’s His spirit world, in the
secret of his tabernacle shall He hide me when trouble comes. He shall set
me up on a rock. I will look around and I will be above all my enemies.
That’s exactly right. My God is a rock, David said, He is solid. You can
count on Him. He’s together, He has weight, He has power, and He will
stand with you and He will hide me. Well, David never ran from anything
very much. He didn’t run from any kind of trouble, he ran out and met it
and generally got rid of it. But he is talking about things now when the
enemy is on every side. Maybe some of those too would like to kill him
in war and all kinds of things. But he is trying to get to something else
right here. So, He will hide me. He shall set me up on a rock. Now hide,
God will hide him in the comforting of His words. He [David] will be
hidden in the comforting of His [God’s] words to David. And he was
using a tabernacle. Oh, cool! That can do it too with the power of God
as the pavilion. The rock is God’s Word too, we know that. It’s the
Lord Jesus is what it is. He shall hide me in the comforting of God’s
words. And David gave a tip off when he said, “Thy word have I hidden
in my heart” (Psalm 119:11). Thou shall hide me in thy tabernacle, in thy
pavilion. How many of you believe that? Thy word have hidden in my
heart. Now you shall hide me in your Spirit. Exactly by the
comforting words of the Most High, that’s where He is coming. He is
coming to the elect in comfort. He’s called the Great Comforter. And
He is coming at the proper time just before He appears to see Him in a
glorified body. But He is coming of the Holy Spirit with great
comfort for the elect because they’re going to need it.
- . The world crisis and what is going to happen has never been seen before
and on this earth, the increase of the events that are just ahead. Oh, James,
in chapter 5, the joy of the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. He is
waiting for the latter fruit, the latter rain of the earth. Have patience,
brethren, have patience. - See, the whole earth is in an uproar. Raging events on every side.
Weather, berserk, everything is happening. So, the comforting at no
other time in history will come just in time because they will not be
able to face the feeling that is coming from the devil powers that are
going to cover this earth in delusion and cover it in every kind of evil
wave that we’ve never seen in the history of the world. And yet He
shall hide me in His pavilion. He shall set me upon a rock in His
tabernacle as if He is talking to us here tonight. How many of you believe
that, literally? I know He means that worldwide to whoever will stand on
His Word. But right here, this place where I’m standing tonight, they dug
down in here. You see the beautiful pavilion that we’ve got here, you
would call it that. And when they got down here, the man said, “I have
never in my life seen such rock. That is rock from the top to rock to the
bottom. We can’t find the end of it. It’s solid. So, we’re going to have to,
if you let us, it will save us some time, we are going to have to dynamite
it out of there so that we can come down with it a little bit.” And so, they
dynamited the rock down so that then they could bulldoze it down. And I
am standing still on solid rock and that Rock is of the Lord. Not even
dynamite could remove me off of here. Say, Amen. And they got it
down that way or they could never have got it down. It was solid rock,
hard rock. He will set me on a rock. This mountain behind us is a strange
mountain indeed, as if God looks down upon His people and He shall set
me upon a rock. He shall hide me in His pavilion when trouble comes.
David said, “I’ve hidden thy Word in my heart that I sin not against thee.”
Amen. How many of you believe that? That I sin not against thee. So, if
you hide God’s Word in your heart, then at the proper time, when
the crisis, the pressure and all the persecution come, then you will be
on this rock, you will be in God’s pavilion. Not only if you’re still in
the building or worshiping God, but you will be in the pavilion of His
Word, in His spirit, in His power and glory. How many of you believe
that tonight? That’s exactly right. - So, the Comforting Words, and you can go on and on with the Lord’s
comforting words. Those hearing this tape, whether it’s right here
tonight with this group and out where you are at, we’re all united as
one unit. We praise Jesus in one unit. We are together here, in
every state or wherever my literature and wherever these tapes go,
we’re a unit of power and a unit of faith. Therefore, you believe with
me and delight yourself in the Lord and you shall have the desires of your
heart. You commit your ways, saith the Lord, I will bring it to pass. Man
won’t bring it to pass, I will bring it to pass, God in all of His glory. So,
all of those that can hear this voice of power, the Lord Jesus sounding to
His people, He is reaching out by voice, He’s got that trump, He’s going
to gather them, and He’s going to get them together. Comfort yourself
with these words of His second coming. A great cloud from the Lord
will comfort His people, the Spirit of God. So, we have that to look
forward to each time that we think of His coming or we are expecting His
coming and we know that He is coming. We love His appearing, and He
will appear to them that He loves. What a group of people, a select
group for 6,000 years that’s hearing my voice tonight! And hearing
the Lord’s Spirit use it, the power of the Lord, and you don’t have
anything to be happy about, saith the Lord, and to be merry in the
spirit? The Holy Spirit and His choice, many are called, few are chosen,
and I shall come and receive them to myself. It is soon, saith the Lord,
stay awake, sleep not, pray and watch. How many of you believe that
tonight? Great, great is the Lord God.
- Now, I want you to stand on your feet real quickly here. It’s wonderful. If
you need salvation tonight, you can come down here. I’m going to pray
for about 10 people. We’ve got some time and that’s the way we want the
message. You may have oppression or the devil pushing at you, you’ve
got pains. We’ve cleared out most of the incurable diseases, they were
healed by the Lord. Every once in a while, we get somebody new that’s
got an incurable disease, but if you’ve got something to come upon you,
you’ve got any kind of asthma, any kind of arthritis or rheumatism,
stomach trouble, heart trouble, pains or aches, or like I say, oppression
from satan or something, I want about 10 of you people to come over
here real quick on this side over here. And you young people that need
help out there and you’re sick, come on over here and let the Lord get you
too. You come out of your seats now; we will wait here just for a
moment. We will get about 8 or 10 people here, something like that,
because we’ve still got some time. - Lord, thank you for that message. I had no idea that you were going to do
that when I started thinking so many times I’ve preached and I wasn’t
going to preach about the second coming of the Lord, I just went through
that to bring about that message. And yet there is a great blessing to it,
and I just about stopped, I could just stay there forever with the Lord, and
you will forever be with the Lord. Amen. That’s what it says, you will
never be separated from the Lord. He may be with you, but everywhere
over the universe, but He is with you too in a different way than what we
see right now. You will be able to look at Him and see Him, His spirit
will be with you. Okay, here they come. We will get them down here.
Now, like I say, young people, if you’re sick, don’t be timid, you get up
here and get a chance because the Lord’s been speaking to me about some
things and you want to get help now. Amen. Now come over here.
- You know, in that last revival, I said, where are the people? Don’t they? I
said, well, it’s slumbering and sleeping, I guess, you know. And then the
Lord one night told me that, you know, I was doing parables, it doesn’t
mean those that weren’t here are not going in the translation, but it means
that they better watch out! And all of those messages and so forth. Okay,
before I get into another message here. And so, people today, you want to
catch it while you can, while I’m here all the time, like I am now. All
right, now come here. What do you want?
PRAYER LINE FOLLOWING THE MESSAGE - Hallelujah! Oh, thank you, Jesus. Give the Lord a hand clap. Thank you,
Jesus. Amen. Well, it’s really great. I want you to stand on your feet. My!
How great God is! How many of you enjoyed that service tonight? It’s
nice. You come out here and you know there’s the pressure of this world
and anxiety is in this world. The only place in this world is to get in
where God is and the anointing of the Lord in the cassettes or in the
services here. When you get home, He will surely help you. There’s a
special blessing. I pray for you with all of my heart. And I believe God’s
going to bless you. So, tonight I want you to come down here. And I’m
going to pray a mass prayer that that comforting message will stay with
you. Amen. Now we’re coming to the end of another year and there are
not too many of these [years]. We don’t know when, but He is coming.
Come on down. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus.

uncertainties. The weather is erratic, the economics is out of control,
the population faces crises on every hand, the earth is shaking and
releasing out fire, disease and famine are stalking the nations – Also

despondency, and a final sentence of death! – But in the midst of this
what a WONDERFUL privilege to turn to the infallible Word of God
and find that the anchor of the Christian is “both sure and steadfast”

foundation of God standeth sure” (II Tim. 2:19) – And as the
scriptures say, the peace of Jesus passeth all understanding. And
more of this comfort will come to those who love His appearing.”
