GOD'S COMPASSION NEVER CHANGES Neal Frisby Sermon- God’s compassion never changes. People may change, different type nations and countries and different nationalities, they may change, but the Lord’s compassion never changes. Even though he has to bring judgment many times on a group or a nation, all through history his compassion is always the same. It’s because probably after hundreds of years they have turned down his warnings before he moves and brings judgment. And so we see God’s compassion, and his promises do not change, they stay the same for us. And you’re healed if you believe, you’re healed by faith, and then it is manifested to you in your body there. Now God has a miracle for you, he has a miracle for each one of you here tonight, and each one of you has the measure of faith to work that miracle if you’ll only allow it to expect and to operate within you.
- Now let’s read in the Bible here. The Bible says in Acts chapter 10 that Jesus was anointed, Jesus of Nazareth was anointed of the Holy Ghost by the Holy Spirit. God it says here, and with the Holy Ghost and with power, and he went about doing good. Now he didn’t go about making people sick, he didn’t go about causing people to be crippled. Now some people think God’s their enemy. If you think that, then satan will use that against you, and when he (satan) does something to you, you act like God done it. But the Lord doesn’t do things like that. You see the Lord straightened Job out, although satan worked upon Job there, the Lord came and showed him just exactly what was going on. The same about Elisha in the Bible several times. You have to be careful, and sometimes people say, well maybe the Lord is doing this. Sometimes he may be leading you through a test, but most of the time it is satan that’s moving against you. Now if you find out what is causing your trouble, you’ve got a good chance how to get rid of it. We know that the Lord went about and he was doing good. The Bible says, healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with him. Now we don’t find him putting any sickness here, we find him taking the sickness off from the people. And if satan ever tells you that God is against you, don’t believe him, because the Lord is on your side. His compassion never fails, He is always good to the people.
- Like I say, sometimes judgment does come upon the earth, sometimes people are tested, but at the same time in providence, all the promises in the Bible are yours. All those listening tonight, they are yours. You have to activate them, expect and receive, and the power of the Lord will deliver you. Listen to this right here, now God’s eternal word, it never changes. And we find out in Psalms about 180, we’ll read it here in 113, 89, and 160 together. Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. See, whatever he has spoken in the Old Testament is again given to us in the New Testament, and once he speaks something that he will do for you, it is settled forever. Heaven and earth will pass away and all things, but that word will never pass away. Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. Thy word is true from the beginning. And right from the beginning, he said, I am the Lord thy God that healeth the, that’s what he said in the beginning.
- Then he turned around, he said, I am the Lord thy God. He said, I shall take all thy sickness from the midst of thee. And he said, I will forgive you your iniquities, and I will heal you of your diseases, but it must be by faith in me, and the love for me, and the worship of me, and live by my word. Thy word is true from the beginning, and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth forever. None can be changed, that is wonderful; and we find out here in this scripture, in Psalm 62:8, trust in him at all times. See, at all time. Now some people trust in him when only they need him, and when there’s some kind of an emergency, or something comes up, they only trust in him, or in crises, or something like that, and the family, or something. But it says here trust him at all times, and have him upon your heart, and then when you call upon him, he will hear you. Trust him at all times ye people, pour out your heart before him, God is a refuge for us. Now some people may be watching this, and you wonder where that refuge is. It is under the hand, and in the hands of the Almighty God, He is your refuge, a refuge. Man can only do a certain amount, a certain amount can be guaranteed you, but through the wings of the Almighty. There is the greatest refuge of all time, and in that refuge you’ll find peace, and you’ll find the oppression will leave. He’ll give you a sound mind and a well heart. Trust in the Lord at all times, It doesn’t mean once in a while, but in everything that you do. Trust your way through life with the Lord, and he will bless you. Jeremiah 17:14 says it this way, Heal me, O Lord, point blank, and I shall be healed, no ifs, no ands about it. Heal me, O Lord, I shall be healed. And when he came into the New Testament, Jesus gave even more healing. Save me, Lord, and I shall be saved, for thou art my praise.
- Now how did he receive these miracles in Jeremiah, and how the Lord visited him? He said, because thou art my Praise. Now we begin to see how healing comes, how the miracles come. We begin to see how the Lord blesses his people. Thou art my praise, and that’s why you should praise the Lord, be a thanksgiving to the Lord, and always give him a praise for all things, and healing and miracles will come your way, and that’s the way he operates. And John 15:7 said, if you abide in me, now here’s the way they come, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you. Somebody said, did he say I could ask what I will? That’s exactly right, and it shall be done in you. But you must abide, see, in his word, and his word must abide in you, and therefore by hearing the word, the anointed word, faith is increased, and it is impossible to please the Lord without faith, and each of you already have a measure of faith. All you have to do is release that faith, and expect in your heart, and stay right with it, and you have a miracle on your hand, and you shall ask what you will, it shall be done.
- Then Psalms 34:4 says it this way, I sought the Lord, see, I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and he delivered me from all of my fears. Now he didn’t say he delivered me from part of my fear, he delivered me from half of my fear, but he said he delivered me from all my fears. What a sound mind, amen. Boy, that’s reaching on into the heights of heaven, He delivered me from all fear. I had none whatsoever, and he was in some pretty dangerous, precarious places in his life, and yet he was delivered from all fear, that is a wonderful testimony. The King was speaking by faith in God, no matter if it’s a mental oppression. No matter if it’s something to do with the mind, or the body, or whatever it is, or troubles or problems, you can’t get any more trouble sometimes than what David got into. Yet he delivered him from In one place, from all his sicknesses. Another place, from all of his fears, and from all of his poverty, and from all of his enemies, and from everyone that was troubling him, because the power of God was in him. Sometimes it would look like, well, the Lord’s not going to move, but he continued in his praise, and he continued in his thanksgiving, and reaching out towards the Lord. Finally he could write other Psalms, that the Lord appeared to him, and that the Lord was merciful to him, and he would say, his mercy endureth forever, over and over he would say that. How many of you believe tonight that the Lord is great? I sought the Lord, and he delivered me from all of my fears.
- We find out in James, no one can change this, the New Testament here, some people, see, I like to go over these scriptures because some are new, and some do not know the will of God. It is his will to heal you, the same as it is to bring you salvation, the same as it is to give you eternal life, the same as it is for you to breathe the air, it is God’s will, it is yours by the power of faith. We find out in the Bible, at the end of chapter James here, we’re going to read it, about verse 15 (James 5:15), and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, amen to that. That’s a commandment, and it means just exactly what it says. The prayer of faith shall save the sick, just exactly like that. I don’t know how ministers or people can overlook these scriptures. All over the Bible, he promises, and it’s just, we just got through reading for his compassion, and his promises never change. Some of you can be right into the pit of hell, you think, in problems that you believe you will never get out of, and yet the Lord says, here’s my hand, there is nothing too hard for me, saith the Lord. In Isaiah and in Jeremiah too, that the Bible says he will do for you, he will lift you out of any problem, any debt, any sickness, any kind of marriage problem. If you’ll only lend your heart, the two together, he will bring forth a miracle in your life, He is the great supreme One, and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up.
- Now, the prayer of faith, now, just any prayer doesn’t work, but the prayer of faith shall save the sick. Now watch this, and the Lord shall raise him up. Who raises him up? Does he raise himself up to somebody else? No, the Lord himself is behind that prayer. I’d hate to touch that prayer, I wouldn’t want to touch that prayer, and the Lord shall raise him up. Let anybody touch that, can you say amen? And the Lord told the man at the table, stretch forth thine hand. The Pharisees were against him, they didn’t want him to work any miracles, they didn’t allow him, and in some places if they’d had television, they wouldn’t let him put it on there, now maybe you can say amen, that’s right. Other stations, they are very kind about it, they will allow it, but nevertheless, the Pharisees were trying to prevent him from healing, and he stood right in their midst with great power on him, and the man was crippled in his hands. He couldn’t move his hands, and he told the man to stand up, and he stood up. He obeyed the Lord, stretch forth thine hand, and immediately when he began to do what the Lord said, he stretched forth his hand in the midst of all of them, and God created him a hand, and it was all well again. Isn’t that wonderful? It was, had to be parts of it created, because it was drawn clear together, and the Lord gave him a wonderful miracle. So the Lord shall raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him, isn’t this wonderful? And it goes on down, it says to confess your sins one to another, that you may be healed. So we find out that confession also is in the part when you want divine healing, and you feel in your heart that you have to confess about. So confess it, the Lord will heal you, and if you have committed any sins, they shall be forgiven you. You just commit, confess your sins to the Lord, believing his promise for salvation or healing, and hold on to that with your heart, and you have a miracle.
- And that sermon tonight, building faith in your heart, prepare your heart, get ready for a miracle, believe the Lord with all of your heart. See, there can be no miracle without expectation from the heart. Sometimes, you know, it’s been a while since you believed, it’s been a while since you’ve activated that faith that you have to enthuse, and begin to praise, and that begins to put the oil to the motor, amen, and you may sputter a little bit, but it’ll come out of there. Begin to operate, begin to thank God, begin to move by your prayers, begin to keep them in operation, never allow anything to…, always begin to keep your praise and prayer to God, and that faith will build a magnetic force. So begin to expect in your heart, settle it in your heart, and then it is yours, and it’ll be manifested to you. I want you to bow your heads tonight. Some of you need salvation, I want you to come to the platform. If any of you are backslidden away from the Lord that you’d like to return, now what great compassion, his compassion never changes. He said he’s married to the backslider. I’ve got such great love, I don’t know how people can turn it down, and he will lift out his hand again to help. There is coming a time when his spirit, it says here, will not always operate upon the earth, but there’ll be an interruption, and it will not always strive with man, and then there will be an end. So now is the time to give your heart to God. I want you to just look up here, all of you, and those that need healing, every one of you that’s new here tonight, or that you need healing, and you didn’t get in the line last Sunday, possibly you was here, I want you in the prayer line tonight. I want you to all stand to your feet now, we’re going to believe the Lord, and the people watching this, believe the Lord with all of your heart, you’ll go out in your homes, he’ll give you a miracle, he will heal you.
Prayer And Testimony Line.
First case
Bro Frisby: Alright, do you want to come up here? You tell the Lord Jesus what you want.
Brother: She just has had a surgery, and we’d like to get closer to the Lord.
Bro Frisby: Amen, you had surgery on your body, would you like the Lord to continue making it perfect? Amen. Lord bless the doctor that did it, but we’re gonna pray that the Lord just move on in there, and help you with the other spiritual problems, and physical problems. Are you ready? Alright now, come on, soften your heart up, Amen, that’s what he wanted me to say. Just soften it right up here. Love one another, and believe the Lord in all your heart. Oh, praise God. Now, Lord touch him, allowing his faith to be strong and powerful. Unite them together in power in the name of the Lord Jesus, touch him right now. Oh, Lord, work a miracle on her. She has been operated on, but give her strength, and work a miracle in her body of healing. Let her feel the anointing. Praise the Lord Jesus. Now, what’s happening to you?
Sister: I just feel great, Yeah.
Bro Frisby: No one can deny such powers that, that doesn’t come off of a man, it comes off of a light, of the Holy Spirit, and he cast down his love on both of you tonight. He just splashed a little bit more on you right now, didn’t he?
Sister: Yes, Amen.
Bro Frisby: His faith began to grow strong. How do you feel now?
Brother: Oh, excellent, Lord is wonderful.
Bro Frisby: Did he touch you all over?
Brother: Oh, yes.
Bro Frisby: Give the Lord a hand clap, Amen, Isn’t that wonderful?
Second case
Bro Frisby: What would you like Jesus to do for you?
Brother: I’ve had back problems and neck injury, and internal problems, and stuff, and I just like the Lord to deliver me from it.
Bro Frisby: Alright, neck injury, internal problems. Let’s believe together. You ready to believe? You got the faith? Let’s believe. Jesus healed the back injury, create what he needs right now. Loosen him from the back problems, take all pain. I command it to go in the name of the Lord Jesus. Oh, praise the Lord. Now, move your back over real fast. I believe you have faith there. What’s happening to that? He had his neck and back. Do you feel something move in there for you? What are you, where are you looking? He’s looking way off in there. It’s hard to find now, isn’t it?
Brother: Yeah, It just feels so clear, and you know, like everything’s spaced the way it should be, and not everything’s leaning on the wrong nerves, and stuff like that.
Bro Frisby: He said everything is spaced in the right place back there. Now, I noticed he was looking way off because it is something different. It’s astonishing to watch, and the Bible said when Jesus performed a miracle, it was astonishing, and by his word and power, he healed him. Now, move your neck, bend over with your back, don’t be afraid of it. See, he’s gonna do things he hadn’t done before. What do you think now?
Brother: Just praise him for his holy power, his….glory to God.
Bro Frisby: You know, sometimes it’s unbelievable, isn’t it?
Brother: Yes, it is, but you gotta believe.
Bro Frisby: Now, move your neck like this. He’s right, you have to believe, it’s the only way you can get it. There is definitely a change in your neck, isn’t it?
Bro Frisby: There is,Give the Lord a handclap. God bless your heart. It is wonderful, and we’ll have this one. We’ll have some testimonies here.
Third case
Sister: Well, I was in the hospital for five days with asthma, and the doctor did everything he could, and of course, I have a habit I’ve had for 51 years, and it’s difficult to break.
Bro Frisby: Well, let’s get rid of it. Amen. Yeah, you’re right. You get it, and that other will go when we pray. All right, we’ll get rid of that habit. Lord, take the desire of this habit. I command it to leave the body, the poison of it to go, and the desire to go. Give her desire and a heart to worship and to love you, and I command the asthma to depart, and let her breathe normal by the power of the Lord Jesus Christ. Now, begin to breathe and see a difference. Now, he’ll be leading you, see? Go ahead and breathe.
Sister: It’s different, it’s different.
Bro Frisby: It’s different, it’s different
Sister: I couldn’t breathe. When I was on the steps up here, I couldn’t breathe deeply. (Bro Frisby speaks: is that a miracle?) It’s been a long… I don’t think I’ve ever breathed that deep.
Bro Frisby: How long? About what? 20 years, 30 years, or what?
Sister: 51 years, I’ve been.
Bro Frisby: 51 years. Well, I didn’t want to, you know, get too far. I’d probably make you too old to see. Amen, but 30 years is good enough for me, but 51 years she hasn’t breathed like that. Now, you know, you worship him with all of your heart, and you get so perfect with that, it’ll be wonderful, and I pray for that habit. Keep that habit out of there and take that, and you’ll live on and on until he comes, until he comes and takes you away. Glory to God in the translation, however. Now, Lord, let the Holy Spirit go with her, and we bind the habit, allowing the Holy Spirit to work in her life. Just receive the Holy Spirit. Now, take a deep breath again.(Sister was able to breathe much deeply) Look at that. You know, if the doctors could do it just like that, wouldn’t that be wonderful? They do all they can.
Sister: I take medication, and I can’t even do it with the medication.
Bro Frisby: Can’t even do it with the medication, isn’t this wonderful? How many of you believe? Well, that’s great. God bless your heart. Those people, the people on television, you’re watching it, you have problems of any kind of breathing or whatever it is, heart trouble or asthma, believe the Lord, and you shall receive. We want a testimony, and then we’ll get to these right here. Come on, give your testimony. Real short, because we’re going to run out.
Testimony 1
Sister: Thank the Lord, I have so much to be thankful for, Brother Frisbee. Before I came out here, I sent for you to pray for my back. It was paralyzed, and you prayed, and God healed it, and I’m so, the greatest thing God did was save my soul and heal my body, and just recently, a knot. See? Look at it (sister shows bro Frisby). See it? It was that big, big as my thumb. I was just sitting out in the audience, and I just believed God while you prayed, you know, and I just said, I curse this thing in the name of Jesus, and I’m lying in the bed, and the Lord says, look, get up. It’s gone, and so I did, and part of it was gone. Then about a week later, he says, get up. The rest is gone. It was a hard knot, and I was going to bring it here, and I did, and I lost it.
Bro Frisby: Fell off, didn’t he? Okay. Yeah, that’s all right.
Sister: This ministry, too. This ministry is just great. It’s anointed, and I thank God for the Word of God, the precious anointing, the tapes, everything is just great. The angels of God just cover me over in the audience. It’s just great.
Bro Frisby: God bless your heart. Thank you. Amen. Well, you know, we had a testimony. A fellow was prayed for, and he was sitting in front of the mirror, and he got to looking at the mirror, and he had a growth here on his nose. He’ll come back and testify sometime. He was up here, I believe, the other night, and he looked in the mirror, and he looked, and the growth, after he’s prayed for, he went home, and he was looking in the mirror, reading his Bible, and the growth fell off. It was gone, isn’t this wonderful?
Testimony 2
Sister: Brother Frisbee, I just want to praise the Lord for bringing us the first time to Capstone, because it has just been so beautiful in our lives, and our lives has just simply taken a different direction, and I came up for you to pray for my heart, and it was really giving me a lot of problems, and I knew if I went to the doctor, they’d do something, you know, to cause some more problems, and that Jesus just completely healed it. There’s no more problems with it at all, and another thing, I had a lot of oppression coming against me, you know, a while back, and I was laying in the bed one evening, and Jesus came down in the room. He pointed his finger at the devil, and he said, no more, and it was after I’d been here for you to pray, and I just praised the Lord for it.Bro Frisby: God bless your heart. Give the Lord a handclap, Praise the Lord.
Testimony 3
Sister: Well, I thank Jesus for saving my soul, and giving me eternal life. I thank him for this place. Brother Frisbee prayed for me, and I got a new vertebrae. He prayed for me again, my nervous condition left. He prayed for me again, my ulcers went. I guess I’m the only one that knows everything that the Lord really did. This is a wonderful place, and I love it.

Testimony 4 And Fourth case
Sister: Brother Frisbee, I’ve had a lot of healings from coming down here, and you praying for me, and I praise God for it, and I’m just so happy that they have a place like the Capstone, and a wonderful preacher like you. I’m so proud of you, but I’d like for you to pray for me that there’s nothing seriously wrong with my stomach. I’ve had a lot of stomach trouble.
Bro Frisby: Alright, we’ll pray. Lord, all the other miracles she’s received, now touch her in the stomach, and create a miracle for her. Make it new in the name of the Lord. Touch her right now.Sometimes people do get healed of other things, and sometimes one thing is a little harder for them to be healed. We don’t know what all sometimes causes it, but the Lord touch her. Did you get to feel that right then?
Sister: Yes, I sure did. My stomach feels like brand new.
Bro Frisby: It does.
Sister: Oh, I praise the Lord.
Bro Frisby: It feels good?
Sister: Oh, yes.
Bro Frisby: Oh Yes, Give the Lord a handclap. God bless your heart. It’s really great.
Fifth Case
Sister: I’d like to be delivered from oppression, and my faith to get there.
Bro Frisby: Okay Oppression. Are you ready for it to go? Oh, what happened there? (Bro Frisby hand moved) My, my. He drawed my hand and popped her. It’s gone. Give her….Lord put divine peace in her. She is free indeed, glory! All you have to do is praise him now. What happened to you?
Sister: Oh, I just felt something come out. I don’t know what it was.
Bro Frisby: Something went out like that?
Sister: Yeah, Amen.
Testimony 5
Sister: Well, it’s hard to know where to start. The Lord’s done so many things, and when I listen to everyone else, you know, I can identify so much. And the Lord has been really well, good to us, and he delivered me from 20 years of taking tranquilizers and using nose sprays and things like that. He delivered me from arthritis in my feet and my hands. I could, they were getting, where it really hurt to walk, you know, and it was very uncomfortable. He delivered me from a stomach problem, and oh, he’s done so many things for my children, my girls. And this last week, he took away an infected tooth I had, which gave me fits all over all week long and I fought it out with the devil and won.
Bro Frisby: Amen, you won out. Well, that’s wonderful, anybody taking tranquilizers, you give the heart to God, serve him, he’ll give him peace. Oh, that’s wonderful.
Testimony 6
Sister: Brother Frisbee, a few weeks ago, we had a binge of swimmer’s ear in the family and my two younger ones’ ears were swollen closed. They were infected so bad. And I read a little article in the paper by a doctor that said once they swell closed, that way they had to go to a physician. There was no healing for it. It had to be opened and taken care of. And I kind of laughed and I thought, well, I brought them out here and they, you prayed for both of them and the Lord opened the ears up and took, you know, all the infection out and I praised the Lord for that. And my younger daughter had a mouth full of sores. They were, you know, deep and sore. And she got in the sideline and you prayed for her. And when you touched her, the Lord healed her mouth. So I’m praising.
Bro Frisby: He even created and did something for the other one, didn’t you? You’ll tell them later. God bless your heart. Isn’t this wonderful? All right here. How many of you enjoying this tonight? I tell you what. You know what, was it about last Sunday night that we had some that just couldn’t kind of reach over in there? I’ll tell you what, he come on back here tonight, didn’t he? Just reached in here, didn’t he? He’s just moving, blessing people like everything.
Sixth Case
Brother: I want the Lord to take this cold away and I want him to come back into my heart because I’ve been rebelling against the Lord.
Bro Frisby: Yeah, you’ve had a lot of things to go through and God’s give you miracles as a child, I watched you grow up. I seen you sick one time, the undertaker was looking for you, that’s right. You remember that son? Don’t ever forget that. You were a sick boy and he was yellow looking. They brought him up here. We prayed for him and he was healed by the power of God. Now he has a cold and he wants to come in closer to the Lord because there had been family problems in the family that’s bothering him. You hold on to God at all costs and he will make you very happy. All right, Lord, touch him, I command the cold to disappear and the problems that confront him. Stay with him. Touch him right now, Oh the anointing is coming back on his life real strong. He just kind of drifted some, loose him. Now, my, my, how do you feel now?
Brother: Better.
Bro Frisby: Is that Jesus?
Brother: Yes.
Bro Frisby: You can laugh now, can’t you? Boy, you’re sure grown up. When I saw you, it was about like this. Give the Lord a handclap. God bless your heart. All right, we’ll get him up here.
Seventh Case
Sister: Brother Frisby, I’m going in for some x-rays Thursday and I would like for everything to come out good for him.
Bro Frisby: We’ll pray.
Sister: Okay.
Bro Frisby: We’ll believe. All right, Jesus, touch her right now. Make everything new. Let it come out all right. Woo! Work a miracle, let the anointing be with her as she goes and in her body, let the light of the Lord be. My, it is really potent up here. Do you feel good now?
Sister: Yes, praise the Lord.
Bro Frisby: Get happy, get happy.
Sister: I’ve been coming here for six years. This is the best place that I felt anything for the Lord and God bless you. I appreciate, for all your prayers that you’ve prayed for me and my family.
Bro Frisby: All right, we’ll be praying for you. Lord bless you, it’s great. We’ll have this testimony. Then I’ll pray for this one here. Feels really good here tonight.
Testimony 7
Sister: I just want to thank the Lord because once I had my baby, she had blood in her eyes and a fever and I didn’t know what it was and you didn’t have prayer at Sunday and I called and I said, I’m determined to get healing for my daughter because she was really bad off and I called and later in the evening, she just started to get well and I praise God because of your ministry which has blessed me and before, when I was baptized with the Holy Spirit, I thought there was nothing more than just being baptized until the Lord brought me here and it’s just been beautiful, beautiful. Oh yes, I just thank God that I’m so fortunate that the Lord had mercy.
Bro Frisby: Lord bless you. We’ll just let this stay right on the TV, Amen. You see it shining all over you. Touch her and bless her, Lord. Go with her on any request she has in her heart. We must give the Lord a handclap, Praise the Lord. We’ll pray for this one here.
Testimony 8
Sister: Amen, Brother Frisbee, when I was a little girl, I had a ruptured or a hole in my eardrum and I came up here and you prayed and the Lord sealed my ear and I can hear better and I can’t blow air through it anyway. Also-
Bro Frisby: That’s right. Some of you don’t understand it. I’ll tell the audience, before she has prayed for it, she could blow, there was a hole in it and air would come out. She’s prayed for and that don’t happen no more, showing the healing’s real.
Sister: This testimony has blessed many people and has brought many people to me, Catholics, Mormons, everyone, just asking me about it because it’s been televised and has brought many, many people to ask me about it. So it’s been an opportunity to witness also.
Bro Frisby: Yeah, we run those spots quite a while. We changed, we got some more now, but we’ll run them some more later. God bless your heart. Give the Lord a handclap, isn’t that wonderful? We had several different spots. You know, he’s our physician, isn’t he? He’s the great healer.
