TRANSLATION ALERT 132

Power of Forgiveness Neal Frisby’s Sermon CD# 1307 04/01/90 (AM)

Praise the Lord! God bless your heart. Feel good, good spirit, and I want you to contain this message. He will prepare you for it, amen? Lord, oh, what a time! And you know, Lord, I live here all of the time but how great it is to be in thy service, amen. Among thy people, Lord, that will listen, my prayer is, Lord, that before it’s over with, you will take the reverse out of thy people and give them a free will to go on forward, amen. That was God. How many of you believe that? We need to go on now. Get that negative reverse, that old nature reverse out of there so that you can really reach out and get the things that God has for His people. He has for you much more than you are able to reach out and get. Oh, abundant harvest, He has for His children. Touch each one of them here this morning. Enlighten the new people, if any is here, Lord, and touch every heart, increasing their power, revealing to them all of thy secrets that you have for them today, Lord. And take this stress–all of this life and the things that go with it, and anxieties, Lord, must depart. As you touch all of your people together, we will unite, and we feel you right now. Give the Lord a handclap! Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus.

All right. God bless your heart. Go ahead and be seated here. Now, tonight, I want you to be here. We are going to show a new film tonight. Now, generally, I don’t do any advertising or anything for this kind of a film. It’s kind of deep, kind of deep for new people and so forth like that. And sometimes a Wednesday night would be a good time because it’s actually for people who are converted and have the Lord, and they can see and know what the Lord is doing. But even new people can see, you know, what it’s about. So, be here. On the one hand, you don’t want to miss it because we’ve got some good pictures there too of the power of God and how it works and how God moves. And on the other hand, how that God is moving and sealing. He is veiled in His people. How many of you know that? The 144,000, they are veiled, you know, in the parable of the foolish virgins in a parable that we saw in Matthew 25. Well, we know before they see Christ, they [the elect] are veiled, see. The organization hadn’t got to them. How many of you are with me now? See, they are not listening to those. How many of you are with me now? How many of you believe that? They are listening to God’s Word and they are sealed as it were. Do you believe that?

You know, Wednesday night, I started on this message. There was a reason why I told that to you first, because God wants you to see what’s going on out here. We are getting close to the end of the age. Wednesday or sometimes I had a few notes a day or two before that. Some of it I knew quite a while and I was working on it and I said, I will just try to get in there and preach on this Wednesday night. But then it began to break in a pattern and then it broke into a pattern. It went into other things that I didn’t know what was going to go into, because most of it was just a simple service, a simple kind of a sermon that began to come on in. And then He took me from there and I wrote some things that I will be doing in another sermon. So, I could see that my attention was being drawn away even. So then when I went back, the pattern just kept breaking in there. And so, I will come back, and we will do it this morning. And it will probably be, probably there’s no more important message in [than] what will be preached here this morning that I could ever preach, really. It might help you more sometimes in faith, it may not or some miracles or what, but this is going to catch all. And, uh, I just pray that those that missed it–they are probably the ones that maybe need this message here this morning. And somehow you run into people, you can tell them about it and so forth, or they can come back and get it at the bookstand or something like that. But there is nothing like being right there when God tells it. Amen. Right there when the Lord moves. So, if you are new, you listen, we preach on prophecy and mystery. Sure, that’s exciting. We’ve got more of that, but then we get right down to where it gets into the food that the people need. Why go to church if you don’t really receive something from the Lord? How many of you believe that? That’s right. And if you sit around and you don’t want to receive it, then you’re like satan at the throne, pretty soon you will be in reverse and then you’re gone! Amen. Now you remember that prayer, God get rid of that reverse, that nature in these people, see, and just reach out and go forward. Boy, He can really get that translation right. That is what is going to happen. The people are going to get more faith.

1.And so here we will start this. Now, listen to this right here: Power of Forgiveness. Now listen close, now the hardest thing in this world for mankind, womankind, or even young people is to forgive. They want to be forgiven, but they don’t want to forgive sometimes. Human nature is kind of like that if it’s mistreated. That’s one of the things that is in human nature. And believe me, satan will back you up in it too, see. So, watch out because God won’t, and His Word is laid in such a way. There are always secrets outdoing the other secrets, always things that outdo the other things. Now we preached on divine love, the very root, the root of power in there. But yet underneath that we find out without forgiveness, no waters of salvation, it can’t take root. So, now we are coming on down. He’s bringing it right on down. How many of you believe that? And we will watch and see what He’s got here. It’s going to break into some things that you probably don’t know about that will happen here. The power of forgiveness; the hardest thing for this human nature to do when it’s mistreated is to forgive. There are other scriptures that sometimes you can say or do something, we will have to get to that. It is the hardest thing for man, but it is the easiest thing that Jesus did for mankind. You say, how in the world did Jesus come in the form of the flesh, God in the flesh to His people? And yet He was the most forgiving person that ever lived on this planet. The easiest thing. That was His mission. You say, was it miracles? Was it doing all these astounding creation things and signs and wonders and visions and showing glories and all of these? No, it was to come and forgive. That was the mission. Without it, we’d all have been destroyed. Unless Jesus came with forgiveness, this planet that we know of now would have either exploded in fire or it would have been entombed in a vast coldness in space like some of the planets that we see out there now that God’s trying to show us. You see those out there? Some are so hot you can’t live in, some so cold you can’t live in, they are barren, they are desolate, there is no life. The nearest ones that we got here, no telling what He’s got in the great universes of universes out there. But from what we can see close and near on the moon, it is dead orbs, see? But forgiveness–this is only one of those planets close to us that’s got life on it because saith the Lord, forgiveness came. How many of you believe that?

2.In human nature within itself, it won’t do what God says. Human nature within itself will destroy one. So, with the power of that Holy Spirit, even the Old Testament and God used various ways before He brought the real salvation to show that they couldn’t do it without the salvation that He was to bring. A terrible price was paid by many people in there for God to show us that it takes forgiveness to do it. Substitutes won’t do it. He gave them the law, even He gave them the sacrifices and what they had at that time, but the real forgiveness must come. Let’s get along with this story. So, it’s the hardest thing for mankind to do and the easiest thing for Jesus. The real elect will learn to do as Jesus did before they leave. Watch and see. As the age ends, a character is forming, He is forming a character. And it says this, like gold tried in the fire, that’s prophetic, that’s scripture. In Revelation chapter 3, before the end of it, it is tried in the fire. That is a prophetic scripture. And the nature of the people that are translated, their character will be forming for that great translative faith that is going to come and take them away. So, the character is forming in many different ways, but one of the ways is, a forgiving spirit has got to come. The whole gospel is based on that. Now you see, God told me, satan does not forgive, satan cannot forgive. So, when you see people get mad and vengeance and turn about and reverse, ha, that’s satan because he cannot forgive. They can have a thousand different excuses. They may not like the way I preach. They may not like the way you wear your hair. They may not like this one. They may not like that one. They may call this, they may… uh-uh, no, no, no, God forgives. And such a great and powerful anointing, how in the world can you dodge it? You can’t. The sins are retained. They are not remitted. How many of you have seen what I said there? We will get to that. Now watch Him, boy, with that anointing. Watch Him come to His people here. So, we see it forming there.

3.Now, there are a lot of ways to teach forgiveness. See, you that have been helping, all of you that are behind me in prayer, and you have been helping me, pray for those that cannot see. Pray for them and ask for forgiveness, God will move. But all of you that’s helping me, all of you down here, this is a way this morning that God will show you every facet of your life can change. Everything that you do for God can pick up momentum. And each time that you hear this message, God will give you anointing. You may be tested. You may be tried. You may not do it all at one time. But as it comes and comes and as it begins to form, believe me, you can reach out for those many manifold blessings in every way that you want. Possibly this [unforgiveness] is the one thing that’s blocked you from not getting as much as you need and everything that God has promised. You know, it’s like a garden. Sometimes you have this little [unforgiveness] in your life, that is in your life, and it kind of blocks the things that you need from God. It’s like a garden. We used to have a garden. I used to see them water it, and they got rows going down. Sometimes the clods would fall over, and it would still get through, and the rest of the garden looked a little bit better in the bottom. But you get the rocks and little things out there, and the water comes on through in there, and then there is a vast growth again. How many of you believe? That’s all you have to do, you see? And I’ve seen God, you know, people give and just see Him bless them like everything, even though everything wasn’t just right. I’ve seen that. But then I’ve seen them come back like a little thing like forgiveness and watch the increase start even more so, and even healings more so, even miracles more so, every facet of your life. You listen, I don’t want to preach this sermon to hurt anybody that has gone from here, anybody that’s here, but through divine love only to alert and to reveal, saith the Lord, what the conditions are actually are, because God is the revealer. The Holy Spirit is really passion, the Holy Spirit is compassion now, and He moves, but there is coming a time grace will run out like the flood, like Sodom and Gomorrah. It will run out. The days are drawing it [closer], He is drawing it to the point.

4.Now the Bible said this, those who come to Christ must forgive. God’s immense mercy, oh my! Learning the lessons that will give you everything that you need and please the Almighty. How He loves it! When you pray, when you search me out, when you ask, and when you praise the Lord, and when you come to me, when you pray, forgive. Then I can really get in there and do what you want me to do. You see, you only get part of it. And they said, “Lord, teach us to pray” in that very greatest prayer. He said to forgive in that prayer and then all through He kept setting up, He got to that mountain with it and people missed it. Oh, great faith moved mountains. Well, very few mountains really moved. They have a lot of things going on and happening. But oh, right under there, He gives the other key to really unlock unlimited potentials. Oh my, it’s so unlimited of His power. So, when you pray, forgive. Maybe you don’t even have to, maybe somebody has done something, forgive them. If you’ve done something, forgive yourself with God. He will do that for you. See, watch how you will grow, how those rocks will get out of that garden and more water can get through there. Now remember, we will get to something in a minute about that water and that salvation here. Forgive and you shall be forgiven. Sometimes people say, “You know, my salvation, I know that I’m saved, and I know that I have the Lord.” But if you search hard enough, are you harboring anything against God even? Are you harboring anything against your brother, against your wife, against your son or daughter? Watch it. See, it can happen to anybody, satan is very clever, he is tricky. But he had to reverse himself at the throne. God said, you ain’t gonna quench this up here, satan. Amen. He [satan] wanted to run his own show, he wanted to take on his own galaxy, he wanted to take it all. He wanted to move on out in the universe. He was counting on God’s compassion. I will bring this out, you say, “Why didn’t God forgive him? He gave him enough warnings. The Lord knew he wouldn’t because he wanted to continue regardless of the consequences. He still thought he had a chance to win it, he told the angels that fell with him. Of course, they listened because they were predestined to listen. The others wouldn’t. See, satan is cunning. He [the Lord] put him out there. And then, all of a sudden, he reversed. God said, “Go” and when he did, God sent him out of there. See, he cannot forgive. See, he ran out, no recall on him [satan], he wanted it that way. He is that way. So, you don’t want to be that way, do you? Amen. So, listen to this real close. There’s a deep message, in there right there. You see, he thought he had a chance to gain it all, and he thought that “God doesn’t want war, God is a God of peace, God is a God of mercy, I’ve watched Him. Never was there such a God. I’ll just walk in and take…” You are fooling with Infinite. That’s what’s happened to this earth. The Immortal One stepped it up, for him [satan], grace had run out. He wasn’t taking nothing, God is standing by. His plan [satan’s] was over with like that, you see. So, God has great compassion, yes, but He has a plan. He’s got forgiveness, but satan, he didn’t want it. Now, don’t be like that, see.

5.Okay, now let’s move on down in here as God told us. He said, if you forgive, you shall be forgiven. “You mean to tell me if I will not forgive somebody, I won’t be forgiven?” Jesus is the Master of words. He knows that if you forgive, your mental problems will dissipate, your mind will be clear, your body, disease can’t get to it. He knows what He is talking about. He created human nature, and He knows all about it and it will erase these things when you forgive. The forgiveness of the gospel, He came to forgive, or this world would have been gone. Now, we are going to come on down to some things right here. Now, if thy brother repents, forgive him, if he repents to you. Listen right here, forgive seven times thy brother (Luke 17:4). You say, “You mean if he does something, I have to forgive him seven times?” Now listen to this real close up, if he repents, you forgive him seven times, but if he doesn’t repent, there’s no more you can do about it. How many of you can say amen to that? There is no more. You’ve done everything that you can do. You cannot do any more. Then let’s turn over here and let’s see right here. We will get down to the rest of this right here. We will get into this, the power of forgiveness there. And so, it says here, the whole gospel is based on forgiveness. Jesus came and He laid down the starting point and that starting point of the gospel was forgiveness that divine love could come upon it. Otherwise, it could not have come. It waters the root of divine love to the gifts and to everything that we have. And when He laid it down, He came and He said, I’m laying it down. Forgiveness will lift the curse, nothing else saith the Lord, will lift the curse, nothing will, but forgiveness lifted that curse. He knew how to get the job done, satan will not forgive, but Jesus did and when He did, boy, that backed him off, satan was backed off in there. And He [the Lord Jesus Christ] laid that foundation of forgiveness and the whole curse was lifted to those that wanted it lifted. We will get to more of that in a minute and show you how it affects the weather and everything like that. So, the whole gospel is based on forgiveness. It says here, those with a forgiving heart will be in heaven, those with an unforgiving heart, I’m your brother and your friend, but you won’t be in heaven. It’s based on that. If you’ve got an unforgiving heart, you’re walking a tightrope. You better get rid of it and get a forgiving heart, see, satan has an unforgiving heart. Yes, a forgiving heart, it’s going to be hard, it’s not as easy as said and done but there is a way that you can get that bitterness out of there. How many of you believe that? Exactly right. This will give health, says the Lord, healing and life. It will. That tree will grow. Oh my! It will take on great limbs and power in there and that seed of faith will grow.

6.So, there it is right there, see? And it just, it goes right in there. He is bringing, drawing this right down to the sharp point of the gospel even under that foundation gospel is that water or that root cannot grow; it will have trouble. It will be blocked in there and forgiveness is one of the things, unforgiveness can block that. You may not be able to do it [forgive] 24 hours a day, you will come and go with it, but you know within yourself that you are the conqueror, amen. You can do it. Amen. Little children, listen to me before you have a chance to get older, it’s harder to get rid of [when you are older] and builds up within you. I tell you, this is a message from me, saith the Lord Jesus, not from him. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. I’m out of it. My lands, I’m out of that one there. And we got that, see? Now, He comes down and [says] forgive your brother seven times if he repents and is honest in his heart, and he really means it. You know, even in the Bible, they used in the Old Testament–we’re getting such a way that God just had to go on all day long with him [them] nearly all day, some of them did not [forgive]. They had a sin offering at that time. Now, let’s get on in and see what He is trying to show us here. Let’s just see. We will give you the scriptures on this right here. You can read it right in the Bible, Luke 17: 4, you can read it there: “And if he trespasses against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying I repent; thou shalt forgive him.” I will tell you something about Matthew 18:21. Now, let’s get right back to this right here. I had to read those scriptures right there. And it says seven times. And Peter said, Lord, how many times? Said “Four or five, then I can get him out of my way?” You see, four or five times. Now, He said, if he repents now, you must receive him. Now watch what He is leading to. Finally, Jesus said to them, He said, forgive seven times (Luke 17:4) and He said, I say unto Peter and the rest of you, forgive until seventy times seven. Oh, my Lord! Well, through your life, you know, you will probably use that up on people anyway. But that’s right. Listen to this real close. Now, He is telling us about this. “Ah, well, that, you see, that’s a hard one. The people over there just called us crazy over here. See, and that bunch of them called fire down.” Remember when they said that? No, seven times 70. Peter thought three or four times really was stretching that thing. Not if they repent, if your brother repents and he repents in his heart, you must forgive him. So, let’s see, the Lord is trying to show him, if you think it’s all right to forgive three or four times, Peter, then it would be all right for me just to forgive you three or four times, because I am probably going to do that before we get through here. And He did and a lot more times, too, He got on him. So, if you can only forgive a couple of times, why do you want to ask God to forgive you anymore? Now, the Lord said seventy times seven and even beyond, because I am God. If a brother repents from his heart, then I must receive it, the Lord says. He’s teaching them that. If they don’t want to forgive 15 times or 10 or five times their brethren, don’t ask me to forgive you then. See, if you forgive, you are forgiven. You’re always forgiven. Amen. That is one of the things in the gospel that will keep you going. You forgive and He will see that you are forgiven. That is a motor in that thing in there that sometimes you don’t do that keeps you bound up. Now, you can reach out and get those clods out of that garden. Watch it freshen up in there and get more, get more crop coming on down to that there. And so, you forgive him [your brother] and if you do not forgive, it says in the next scriptures down here, you will not be forgiven. Hard lessons, but oh my, it’s good medicine. Do you believe that? Amen. It is good medicine.

7.Let’s see if I got another scripture to read here in a minute. Now, listen to this right here, I put [down], there’s no shortcut to divine love. Forgiveness comes first; healings will increase, prosperity will increase, miracles will increase, it will clear up the mind and the heart. Mountains will be removed. And Jesus said, I say unto you, if you doubt not in your heart and you say it, you can have whatsoever you say. He said, “You can say unto the tree.” We will get some more of that in a minute. You can lift it right up out of there and replant it over here. He said, I can tell you right here, He did that to Israel, didn’t He? He lifted him out of the nation, replanted him in Israel, standing on a spot where He will come down. He will come down there later. He said, “You can say that unto this mountain, be thou removed.” He is going to do it later when He comes back. We find this in Zechariah (14.4), the mountain split in half and He cast it out of the way, and Jesus said a mountain will be removed. Amen. Then He said, here is the secret to those greater miracles that you want. You’ve had small miracles; you are going to have great ones. When I leave, I’m going to pull my power out. The works I did, sure you will do, and to us today and greater ones than these, sure you will do if you find the key, the secret. And the secret, He said, “When you pray, forgive.” Did you know that He said, “Forgive,” forgive those that are around you on that mountain thing. When you move those mountains, when you do, your mind and heart are clear and then you can have whatsoever you saith in there. Oh my, when you get all of the secrets and the gospel together, I can guarantee you one thing, you have power, unlimited power, saith the Lord. There is no shortcut. If you want the total power of the translation, if you want to be translated, I am heading you towards the translation. Don’t you realize that? That’s the ones that are going there. Amen.

8.And so, we come on down there. And then so, if Cain would have asked for forgiveness and forgave, there would have been no murder. If mankind could forgive, saith the Lord, from the heart, there wouldn’t be murders, there wouldn’t be wars, there wouldn’t be crimes. They would have me, but they will not forgive one another. You have wars, you have crimes, you have murder because vengeance takes root in unforgiveness. You say, you mean unforgiveness is what created all the problems? That’s exactly right. When one gets mad, he will not forgive, he will kill. The next one, he will backslide. He will get mad, boy, and despite God and all the angels, he will show everybody a lesson. He will backslide. Oh my, he has dug into the gates of hell, saith the Lord. Don’t let the devil trick you like that. The devil himself tricked himself that way. How many of you believe it? Amen. That’s exactly right. Watch that human nature in this thing here if you want to really grow there, and everything like that. And so, when people won’t forgive, they generally get up, you see, people, and they leave the church. They can’t stay in any good church. Did you know that? Anyone that’s really preaching the Word, you can’t do anything with them, your friends or whatever they are, you can’t do anything with them. They have no water under their forgiveness. You try and they will show you a thousand different ways why they want to leave God. But I can tell you one thing, if they will drop down like that old sinner [Publican] did, and not like that [Pharisee], it’s, oh Lord, “I’m not even fit to look up” and ask forgiveness (Luke 18: 9-14). I can tell you one thing, boy, they can then stay where God is. How many of you believe that? You can’t stay, satan couldn’t stay up there [either]. You can’t stay. Pretty soon he will get the best of you, and you will have to reverse because it’s going to bring it right down to the point where you can no longer hear my voice, and you can no longer want to hear my sermons. You will find everything in this world wrong, but you will not change what God has given to preach, and they will try to leave and discourage those messages. I am hurting him. I am tearing that devil apart. He wants me off of it. He said in the very beginning of my ministry, he’d get me off of it like that, he can’t do it. I’m preaching it. He wants me off of those messages. Somebody for 10 or 15 years will suddenly do something to hurt the whole congregation, everybody. He wants me off of these messages. Uh-uh, see, I don’t care if you lose part of your crowds. You’re going to be in heaven. Watch that satan, boy! He will try to get you away from what you are doing for God. It won’t change you. Why should I turn to get a bigger crowd and turn around and preach where people like it better? Why should I change that and then have to stand before God because I didn’t do the right thing to those people, and some of them didn’t even get to heaven? I will do all I can to get you to heaven, and then I won’t have to answer to God. If you don’t get there, it won’t be my fault. I’m trying to get them to heaven, but they don’t want to go there, saith the Lord. Some things I do, they do look strange. Watch it, some things that God gives, they do look strange, but there’s a purpose, a divine purpose. He knows what He is doing. Remember, don’t ever, if you’re testifying or doing something, don’t let him [satan] get [you] off that Word, he will try every way he can. You know you will have friends that will mislead you. Don’t get off the Word, saith the Lord, that’s what he’s trying to do. And that forgiveness in there, you’ve got to have it in there, I’m telling you right now. And in this message this morning, there may be some that say, “Eh, eh, eh, eh.” That’s going to be where you will say, “Eh, eh, eh, eh,” down there too. Amen.

9.This will help you. Now let’s get down here now and see what He’s got here, and then we go down. If you do not forgive, you shall not be forgiven. See, this is different. He lifted the curse. In coming to the altar, be reconciled to thy brother. He said, when you’re taking a gift to God or bringing it in there, stop for a moment and think. He said, and if your brother even has mistreated you, or there is an argument there, and you didn’t do anything wrong, now watch, I’m going to increase you to prosperity. Now leave that gift at the altar, and don’t, just leave it there, go over there to that brother, get to him the best way you can, even if it’s not your fault, and try to get that problem solved. Then I will double, triple what you are going to bring, instead of just giving you double, I will just triple and quadruple it. And then He said, come back to the altar and leave it there, and you really got prosperity on your hand. Oh, I’ll open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that you cannot see. He loves people that will obey what He said to do. That unforgiveness, even [if] that person that brought the gift didn’t do anything wrong, but if they just try to help the man solve the thing, you see, and then come back, whether he did solve it or not, there’s a blessing for him. Oh, God is really great. He is trying to show you miracles, for faith, for material things, spiritual things, and the power of God, and all the known and the divine, He is trying to show you [how] to get more of all of it. That’s what He is trying to show you here. You may have gotten some of it, but at the end of the age, before we are translated, we want all of it. Amen. That’s exactly right. Oh, we’re going to love heaven. Amen. You have enough of God, and you love heaven. You’ve got enough of the other, and you won’t see, you just can’t love it [heaven]. We love heaven there.

10.Now, here is one thing, the whole thing I’m going to teach right here. We’re going to get to it right here. Oh, He’s going to bless, come right down through here, divine forgiveness of the sinners through faith and their sins. Now, repentance and remission of sins to be preached among all nations. “And whosoever sins ye remit shall be remitted; and whosoever sins you retain, shall be retained” (John 20:23). People have never understood that scripture. Do you have that kind of power? Let me tell you how it works. Now, when you tell the people about the Lord Jesus Christ, and they honestly tell you they believe and they accept the Lord Jesus, you tell them in the place of Jesus, Jesus is right there with you, but you have to talk for Him, you tell them your sins are forgiven. They have been forgiven by Jesus already and now that you accept Jesus, you tell them “Your sins are forgiven, you are forgiven.” But if you are with another one and the person says, “Well, I don’t know, you know,” and you can tell that they don’t want to receive Christ, then you cannot tell them their sins are forgiven. You must retain. You must hold on to that until you know that person has repented. Now, this has gotten out of order. Now, in the systems of the earth running right from the Pentecostals straight up to the Vatican, the Vatican used to be Pentecost. Now it’s where it’s at, and the Pentecostals are going to come back. Now, you watch and see what happens before the end of the age, not all Pentecostal people, no. At the end of the age [they believe] that only the priest has power to remit that sin, but the others that come and everybody that comes, they don’t have to retain the other. They don’t tell them. They owe their soul to the company store. They owe their soul to a system. They owe their soul there. It’s the middleman, he cuts out the Lord and by confessions, see, the man of sin promotes even more. That’s right. And they come and they go, but they have no right until somebody has truly received the power of salvation to tell them, “Now your sins are forgiven.” See, on that they must remit, but they don’t. And that system is one of the richest, and so rich. I don’t care how poor they say they are; they can’t find out how much they are worth really, amen. But at the end of the age, all of them coming together would even make it more so. And then you say, “Does a prophet or one have power to remit and retain? Yes. If I see that something has been done against the power of the ministry of the Lord, and there’s no reason nor for it, then I have to retain. How many of you believe that? Well, I watch that power in there and it’s coming in the last end of the age. And even the saints of God have it. Amen. Then you will understand, see, what God’s telling you. It’s a very deep subject. So, what is remit? It means to forgive, to pardon like a person has never done it before. Retain means don’t release. The person didn’t really come to Christ; don’t you tell him he did. You see, you have that power that God gives. Once you see that person has confessed the Lord Jesus, you are just like God there for a minute, you’re not though, you say Jesus has forgiven you. Then you go to the Word of God. How many of you believe that? That’s exactly right. It’s thus saith the Lord, it cannot be broken for I spoke it, saith the Almighty. I spoke it, that is it. So, know within yourself, you can’t forgive anybody, it takes Jesus, but you tell them their sins are forgiven. And at the same time, you tell them that they didn’t get through. I know today they just got them through their signing. What I’m trying to say is, sign a membership card on the churches from the top to the bottom and they’re signing them in there and signing them up through there and right to a system and roaming up through there and so forth like that. You see, that won’t work. See, they are just retaining their sins. You’ve got to come through the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Church. He is the Body, and no system is a body. No church is the body, but they’re part of the body. Jesus is the Body and He is the Church. It’s in His name, the Lord Jesus, that all of this takes place. How many of you believe that? Now, as we get down through here, you see, and we preach it and then we come out. Now let’s get to something here. The remitting of sins is used in the world system wrong, but in the church, it’s used right. And I said it just right. The Lord has already told me that nobody can hang me up on that because that’s the way He wants it. And Jesus said, all power is given to me. He said the power to forgive sins right down the next verses or two in there. And my power I give unto you. So, you can only quote what He says and then it takes place there. You don’t have it within yourself, but you can tell Him, and you’ve got it that way.

11.Now, when we come on down through here, you know, the curse. Forgiveness lifted the curse of sickness, this curse of sin. People don’t want it. They don’t want it. And Jesus walked up to a tree. We know the story well. And He went to talk into a tree, you said the Great Creator, sure! He talked to that tree before that. Amen. Now listen to this close. And He went to talking to the trees, fixing the curse that there was no fruit on that tree. That tree was symbolic of Israel. He was coming to lift the curse, but they didn’t want it lifted. Now that tree grew out of a seed and the parents of that seed were back in the creation. And when He spoke back to the seed, He said, “Multiply and replenish.” He spoke to the parents of that seed and there was that tree. So, they went and multiplied many times through there and the same in the garden. He told him [them] “Replenish the earth and multiply” to Adam and Eve, the seed of Israel coming out of that later. Amen. So, at the tree, there He was, this one, it didn’t have any fruit. And Jesus was talking to that tree and a disciple says, “Boy, I’m telling you, maybe we were right that He has lost His mind. And He talked to the tree and said, “You will not bring forth any more fruit” (Mark 11: 12-21). He was standing there talking to it [the fig tree] and in His voice, He was breaking up the elements in that tree. And the power that was in Him, the sound. He said in the days of the end, that sound will go forth again in Revelation 10. The very sound in His voice began to break up the elements in the tree and when the elements began to break up, the root lost its strength, it gave up the ghost and Jesus walked away with the disciples. Now He can give life in that voice, too, but that was setting it to act that way and He went on. The next day they came by and said, oh, Lord, “Behold the fig which thou cursedst is withered away.” He is teaching them faith, and He is teaching them how to lift the curse or put the curse. And here He came back, and they said, “The tree dried up, Lord, just like you spoke to that tree.” You say, speaking to a tree? Why? If you go back, I mark the scriptures in Judges 9: 8-15. Sometimes I will preach a sermon on it. The trees begin to talk to the trees and to the vines and to the bushes. Oh, it’s in Judges 9, if you want to read it. And they came up at a time, it said and the trees went forth and they said unto the olive tree, will you rule over us? And it said, well, no, see, because things are not right. I won’t get into the sermon this morning. And he came on down, he said, he came on down there and he talked to the fig tree. He said, will you rule over us? The trees were talking in a parable there, he said, no. Went down to the vine, all symbolic of what God uses. They went over there to bramble. And the bramble bush said, well, now, if you want me to…see, the bramble bush, that is an offshoot from the rose to the bush, some of the brambles are, they got thorns on them. If you want to know the truth right now, that’s prophetic at the end of the age, it is going to happen again. Israel is going to go in the same spot as Abimelech, who was a killer, and man, I mean kill and be killed. We know the story of what happened when that guy did that. That was in the Judges, at a time when every man did what was right in his eyes, and they all thought everything was right. That is like today, everybody’s going to do what’s right in their eyes. There’s a way that seems it’s right to man saith the Lord, but it is the way of death. How many of you believe that? It’s exactly right. So, there’s the trees talking to one another.

12.You can go back and look. You say, Do you know anything else different? Why, everything in this world, you’ve got all kinds of strange things happening in all the world. I hope to come back…what God shows me what’s causing all those strange things and bring a message on it and prophecy and so forth like that and everything. But all the strange things I do open up the Bible. You find out where God has done something beyond that, but He has done the real facts. He has done it to show a purpose behind it. Oh yeah, if you go to the end of Joshua down there and the chapter of Joshua, right at the last chapter towards the end, he was so tired. He saw what happened. Moses and the children are where you couldn’t keep them straight and they all died. It wasn’t these young, young ones [who were] growing up and they always wanted to see something. They always wanted to see God and they’d get images and idols and get them out of there so forth and God always forgave them. Thank God. He’s got a forgiving spirit. He’d been, [or] there wouldn’t have been any of them left for us to be here. Nobody would be here. Amen. He’s a great God, merciful God. Listen to what he’s got to say and so, so Joshua said, now hear me, he said, “Now you are going to serve the Lord, see after I’m gone and they say, “We’re going to serve the Lord. Let us be, we will be a witness to that.” He said, “You will be a witness to that.” He said, “We are going to serve the Lord, and we are going to do this, we are going to do that. And he said, all right, you’d be a witness to that. So, Joshua said, he was about 110, Joshua said it’s what the Bible gave. And he said, all right, so, he went and got a certain big rock, and he set it up under an oak tree. Now he said, Israel, listen to me. You said you’d do what you told me you’d do. He said, “You see this rock? This rock heard everything that you said, this rock knows everything you said and this rock will be a witness against you when I am gone (Joshua 24:26-27). And men used to laugh, “Well, we know the Headstone.” David said, Oh, lead me to that rock, man, the presence of God was in that rock. But beyond that, they find out when you break rock down and get sand that you can make films out here to record it. Voices, they talk, see, and hear. It’s exactly right. That rock itself could talk, see, and hear itself. Why, just a few chapters before that, there was a donkey talking over there. So, don’t tell me God can’t talk to a tree. He told the parents of that tree, the first seeds, He said, “Multiply, I am the Lord God.” Now, all of those strange things in the Bible, I can go beyond that and tell you some more stuff. You will find that rock at the end of Joshua. Oh boy, he’s sitting there, oh yeah! And so, all the days of Joshua and the elders, they did live–and then they turned and the judges came and that’s where we’re at now over here with these trees. Now they got out of it finally and went off to other gods, whoring after gods of all kinds of them out there, who can never do anything with them for very long. And so, this tree, so it’s symbolic of Israel. He had come to find fruit. He preached the gospel. It bared [bore] no fruit. He had preached to them and they couldn’t hear. They wouldn’t hear. So, He cursed it. Now you see the curse came upon Israel. They rejected the forgiveness that took it off. They rejected it. So, the tree was symbolic of Israel. We know that it’s always been preached that way. And then we find Israel as a fig tree coming back again. God is still going to lift that curse. He’s going to avail those 144,000. He’s going to get some extra ones out of there. He’s going to lift that curse out of there. You watch and see. Forgiveness will lift that curse.

13.Now what will forgiveness do? Forgiveness…it would have been worse, even if the weather was under a curse all over the earth. And as we see, as we’ve got tornadoes, hurricanes and all of that under that curse in there. Amen. If all the people in the earth asked for forgiveness and forgave, there would be no more cursed weather, saith the Lord. Now, when the elect are gone, see, boy, the weather patterns, oh, it’s energized in there. That’s right. So, we find out that leading into the millennium, the church leaves and afterwards the judgment of the Lord. Then He removes the curse off of the entire earth and it’s like a paradise again. Oh, but it’s gone because men forgive one another. And it lasted and it will last a long time until satan gets back in the picture a little bit. The bride’s been gone on with the Lord. But there’s the weather patterns, all of that, that we see there right there. So, we find out in there He would lift that curse off of there, take it on out of there. The Son of man has the power to forgive sins, it says (Matthew 9:6). Jesus gave a great example of forgiveness on the cross. He said, “Forgive them, they don’t even know what they are doing” and He reached out to save the few that would listen to Him there. Oh, He taught us a lesson on forgiveness at the cross. All had forsaken Him except His mother, and one was setting with him right there. By the way, where was Peter? He was going to do all these great things, but he went away too. They that are forgiven much love. That’s in Luke 7:47, if you want to read it there. Some people have many sins; they’ve done terrible and so forth and they love them very much. In other words, they love Jesus more than many of those that didn’t have very much to forgive by. Like Paul, how much he loved Jesus there! And they have great, great love for souls. They reach on out because they went as far as they could in iniquity and they know all about the things of this life and yet they love much in their heart, and they love the souls. Other people raised or born in churches, sometimes a religious spirit, they haven’t hardly done anything, it’s hard for them to really get the love and that forgiveness in the heart that they really need that’s in their heart there. And so, we find out, boy, He forgives it all. The chief among the sinners, forgiven, their deep love and for souls. To whom much is forgiven much, they love much. Sins are forgiven through faith. Thy sins are forgiven, thy faith has saved thee, go in peace, Jesus said. Thy faith has saved thee. How many of you believe in faith now? The key to it is faith. And that is Luke 7: 48-50. Thy faith has saved thee. That woman standing there. Her faith broke through into that light and He said, “Thy faith has saved that one. Go in peace.” How many of you believe that? And when you pray, forgive and you shall have the ultimate in God’s kingdom. How many of you believe that this morning? That’s exactly right. Now He went around, that broke forth some of those notes where I went in there, so I had to leave that the other night and come on back. And in great love, this message is to help. It’s not to hurt. And anybody that believes in this message… and look, this is going out to my people over the nation and it’s going to help them greatly in their hearts. It’s another breakthrough from God to really cause you to realize that when satan causes you to do those things, you know what God loves and know that God is the very One that can help you. He’ll do it quicker than any other thing. He will help you to forgive and you shall be forgiven. Oh, He is really great.

14.Now to clarify, listen to this right here. I got to talking about other subjects and I am coming back to this right here; a defeated Christian is one that does not praise the Lord, see, and you can add forgiveness there if you want to. They do not praise the Lord, they dry up and then their leaves fall away, as Paul said, and the grapes fall away at the end of the age, there is no juice, no praise, no joy. How many believe that? And then they blow away and they depart. They’ve lost the nectar. They’ve lost the seed of life in them. So, listen to this right here; A defeated Christian is one that will not and does not praise or give thanks to the Lord. Praise and defeat cannot live in the same house. I am talking about a church. I am talking about individually in your house, in your own individual soul. You can’t have praise and defeat; one’s got to go. How many of you believe that? And then I am talking, now listen right here. I’m talking about them or your home, but you don’t necessarily depart or nothing from that if you’re married, but you live that life of praise. If they [the other person] want to live a life of defeat, your praise will finally win out. Your praise will get you where you want to go. That’s exactly right. I didn’t mean to, you know, take off or split up or something like that, you don’t do that. Some women and some men, they marry into unbelief. They marry and never hear the gospel. One gets saved and the other is still an unbeliever or not saved but the Bible says stay right in there. Now if he goes or something, you can’t help that. But stay right in there, you see, right there and pretty soon, you know, if you do it long enough, well in most general cases, the other [person] will turn finally and come on over and God will save their heart because you have a forgiving spirit. And therefore, it’s in the household, it will stay there.

15.So, praise and defeat, even in your own self, you cannot have defeat and praise live there; one has got to go either you suffer in defeat, or you have praise, but one’s got to get out of there. How many of you believe that? Amen. Sometimes you may be defeated, but you hold on to that praise and defeat will go. You come back to praise. God will bless your heart there. Sometimes the people that do things to other people and sometimes they don’t even realize what satan is doing. You say, “Can you explain that? No, they are blind. They’ve got the kind of veil on there the Jews had on. You can’t do anything, see. But wait and let God, in forgiveness, let you see what He has. Such power God gives His people if they know how to have the key that unlocks all of those treasures that God gives. How many of you believe that? The hardest thing in this world to do is for men to forgive that old nature he’s got. The easiest thing for God to do is say—”I forgive you; you are forgiven.” And if you believe it, then He’s got you there. And if your brother repents and is sorrowful in his soul, you must forgive if he really means it, okay. And if he doesn’t, then you just go on and try to straighten it out if you can. So, forgiveness is the water under divine love. There’s no shortcut to divine love. There’s no shortcut to miracles. There’s no shortcut to what God’s got, unless you have that water of salvation and the forgiveness that God’s got. That is what the whole Word’s put here. Everything in this world, that was the lesson He was showing mankind, the whole thing, there’s nothing else, but He came and lifted the curse whether they like it or not. “I forgive. You are now forgiven. I have done it at the cross. Your sins are gone. Your sickness is gone.” You believe and it will be manifested to you. And so, the Lord left everything, all of His promises, He lifted everything away and you have them today, all of His promises, if you know how to work on them. How many of you can believe that? Oh my, God is really great! And if you’re new here this morning, you say, “That’s a hard thing,” not when you have God, if it’s easy for Him and if you get enough of Him, it would be easy for you. How many of you say amen to that? I want you to stand on your feet. Sometimes you don’t understand but just forgive and go on. God is really great! There are scriptures for you, that’s right.

16.Now we’re going to praise the Lord. We’re going to thank the Lord. If you need salvation this morning, hold on, see, Jesus is the only One you have to return to, He made one Name. You don’t have a million systems, a million names, just Lord Jesus. You can work that out with Him. He will be right there with you. Get back in these prayer lines. Get in here and let me get the rest of that out of there and let God bless your heart. Now this morning, I want you to all praise the Lord and thank the Lord. Let this settle in your hearts. How many of you believe it? Let it sink in and let it stay in your hearts because sometimes when you can’t get anything done, you will turn to that very message that’s here that I gave you and you will break through to the light of heaven. Amen. Not only that, but you can teach people things that are said here this morning and bless the Lord God forever. Let’s praise the Lord. Come on, let’s praise the Lord. Oh, remember, praise and defeat can’t live in the same place. Let’s praise the Lord and get rid of any defeat here. Help your neighbor. Amen. Come on and praise the Lord! Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Come on now and praise the Lord. Oh my, thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Oh my, move, move, fast! Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Oh my! Thank you, Jesus. Oh!
