Feeling good tonight? Do you feel the Lord real good? All right, I’m gonna pray for you. You are singing real good. Looks like if you don’t get on His train, you will get left. Amen. Your train just keeps going on. Well, just sing and get in the Holy Spirit and you can move fast. Go anywhere you want to. Heaven, God will give you a feeling of heaven on earth. Isn’t that right? All right. Jesus, I’ll tell you though, if you’re not close to God, you might feel that you are near below. See, He can bring all kinds of feelings to you, the Holy Spirit can. I’m gonna pray that the Lord will bless you. And you believe here tonight, just a little bit, and the Holy Spirit will move, and it’ll move in your hearts, too and it will follow you home and it will direct you and the Lord will help you. Jesus, we are here tonight because we love you, we worship you. We know that you know what we need and you’re going to move for us tonight. And any of the unbelief, Lord, we rebuke it because the power of faith is like a flame and we will put it [unbelief] down. Isn’t that right? Amen. Touch them tonight, Lord, whatever their need is, and give them a blessing no matter what it is.
Give the Lord a handclap! Praise the Lord Jesus! Oh, praise God. That’s wonderful. Sometimes, you know, your services, you come on, it’s just a little stiff. People have problems and I can tell sometimes the way he is singing, it’s kind of, he has to get them kind of loose in here. You want to relax. You know, I was reading somewhere about the lethal doses of fright and fear and how that people get bound up in anxiety until it’s really harmful to their health and in some cases, they may even destroy people completely. But we know this, if you relax, that the Holy Spirit is the best tranquilizer. It says tranquility in the Bible and peace that you will ever get a hold of. But you’ve got to learn how to do it and relax and just soak it in like you do the sun and let the Lord have a hold of your whole heart, mind, soul, and body. Amen. And He will bless your heart. Let’s give another praise offering. Come on, we got plenty of time tonight. I don’t believe I will preach too long. Come on and praise the Lord Jesus! Lord, we want to live in your atmosphere. Oh, He is camping with us, isn’t He? Oh, He may be working everywhere, but He’s got His camp set up here. Glory to God! You just feel the glories of the Lord. All the new ones here tonight, bless their hearts and touch them where they will be able to see, Lord, the trueness of your Holy Spirit there. Isn’t it wonderful? How many of you feel better? Just relax, see? Relax in the Lord and He will certainly give you peace and contentment. Glory to God! Thank you, Lord Jesus. Alright, you go ahead and be seated.
We’ll be back praying for the sick sometime in the future. I’m taking a break from it. And I’ve been working on quite a few messages, but they won’t be out for a while. I am kind of putting them back, some will be for this way and some for that way. And then we will see what the Lord has us to do there. But during the meantime, some things I read before that I am going to kind of go back over. I’m not going on any messages that I’ve been working on. The things I am working on now will be for the future. Some of the messages I worked on quite a while back, I got set up two or three months ago, I never did use them. And it kind of brings stress in one way, but that is not nerves or anything like that, but kind of you get it all done and then the Lord moves you to get another sermon. You get it all done and then you move to get another sermon. If you could get it kind of in a row, it would relieve some of that work that you have to do there. But in time, it would begin to come into its place and fit into there. So, after I get sometimes even two or three sermons, He says, “Not now, you put it away.” Sometimes it’s in the future. Sometimes it’s to be told at a certain time when a certain group of people are here. Sometimes it is to be on a Wednesday night, sometimes on a Sunday night, but He does it. So after I do two or three sermons, many times I have to come back and get a new sermon just before the weekend because I put it back there. So, I’ve got some real good ones, and they will kind of come in between the messages that He gives me in between there and the Lord will bless your heart.
1.So tonight, we want to get on this message. It would be a little bit prophetic, but it’s going to deal in mysteries. We’ve been preaching about faith and preaching about other Bible mysteries and how the Lord blesses His people and so forth. And so tonight, it will be just a little different in there to see what’s going to happen towards the end of the age. We are moving into a new phase. A new age is coming. It’s already beginning to be restructured as prophesied. It’s happening right before your eyes, and the Lord told us beforehand. So, the Prophetic Clock we’ve got tonight, and the midnight clock is striking. The world is moving closer to doom. How many of you realize that? Everything in its proper place, in its proper orbit is coming together. It all spells doom, not peace like they say it’s going to be, that [peace] will only be for a short moment. And at the time they holler for peace and safety, it won’t be long until destruction will come upon them. It is good that God would alert us, keep us in tune with the Lord Jesus to tell us these things are coming here. And tonight, I will be reading from about 2 Peter chapters 1, 2, and 3, and we’ll skip around some there. In 2 Peter 1:19, it says, “And we also have a more sure word of prophecy wherein do you do well that you take heed, [See, alert yourself, be awake] as unto a light that will shine in a dark place.” It will come at the darkest times, and it will be a prophecy. It will come from the Lord and dimensions of utterances, and misunderstood many times, but nevertheless it will come. It will arrive on His time there. And then “until the day dawn, [He will be with us]. And the day Star arises in your hearts.” A more sure word of prophecy, meaning towards the end of the age under grace, that it would be a more sure word of prophecy. One thing, the events would begin to clear up for the true children of the Lord, the ones that know the Bible, the elect of God will be able to see it. But those that are lukewarm, those that are kind of dwindling out in the world, they won’t be able to see the events like the elect will. And there will be a more sure word of prophecy. God will begin to say things, too, that He’s never told before and He will kind of bring it to His people to be very watchful for these things are going to come. And so, we have a more sure word of prophecy.
2.And the testimony, the spirit of, the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy that will come upon the elect at the end of the age. And when it does, there’s a great blessing behind it. You’re going to have to relax. I feel it already. Just relax some here. You went too fast, I guess. All right. Now, it’s really close here. The Bible says this right here–and because we see these inventions and all of these things that are surrounding us– we’re going to go to 2 Peter chapter 3:3. All right. Down here, this is a mystery here as he begins to tell it, “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers walking after their own lust.” Now watch. If you see today why people do the things that they do today and the way that they are reacting today and their unbelief, and I’ve always said this, never try to have somebody to help you prove God. You believe in God yourself. You stand on your own faith. When somebody else backslides or somebody else criticizes or somebody else says something about you, don’t pay it any attention. You are going to have to stand before God yourself. Never mind about what they believe about the prophetic events of the end of the age. Peter ran into them like this, there are people out on the street saying, “Oh, there’s not going to be an Armageddon. Oh, we’re going to have peace finally. A man’s going to do all of this. See, he is getting smarter every day.” They don’t believe it, you see. Don’t pay them any attention. And don’t run over here to somebody over here to say, I want them…you know, see, you stand on your own two feet. Believe God in your heart and if you need any help, surely the Lord Jesus will help you, not only through the power of a gift, but He will help you through people that are positive and people that love God with all of their hearts. So, watch where you are turning and see what’s happening and the Lord will bless you.
3.In this chapter, more was described and towards the end of it, it seemed like we can’t get away from the Apostle Paul (2 Peter 3: 15 & 16). He was involved in this chapter of Peter here. Many people don’t know that. He helped him to write it. In fact, Peter was unlearned, he couldn’t write. Paul happened to come through just long enough to set him some books into order here and he helped him with these books and probably some of the others too that were writing [written]. And at the end, before he gets through, why he mentions his name here and they were going through some pretty deep things. And he mentioned Paul had written about him too. And how they tried to wrest him and so forth like that in the age that we live in. And he was going along here. And he was saying this right here, “knowing first that there should come scoffers and so forth, saying, Where is the promise of His coming?” See, where is He going to come from? And many times, you have today, well, ever since the days of the apostles, “Oh, the Lord is coming soon.” Well, they should preach the urgency of the Lord at any age. “Oh, we feel the Lord is going to come,” you see. And thousands of years have rolled by. In the modern age, different groups would rise up, “the Lord is coming.” Pretty soon they’ve heard fire, fire, fire. They’ve heard wolf, wolf. Now they are not believing it. Same thing about his day during that time. In the short years that they were even preaching, some thought the Lord would come right after Jesus left. He would come back in His glory. And all of them had seen that years went on by and nothing was happening there. The same thing today, people hollering, “Fire, fire, the Lord’s coming.” Finally, they’re just numb. They don’t believe anything. And that’s just in an hour you think not. See, they say it over and over and over and it is preached over and over and over He is coming. Pretty soon they no longer believe it like that but nevertheless, wait for it. He is going to come. Can you say amen?
4.That’s exactly right. That’s why He does it like that and He leaves it like that. He keeps it a secret, but it’s there. And so they would come like that because others said he was coming and he didn’t come. Says, “…for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation” (2 Peter 3:4). Now, that was a bold, lying statement from somebody that they had run into, probably had influence of some sort there, talking that way. And all things since the beginning, nothing has happened, it’s always been the same. And then in this chapter, you have to read it close, and the Lord will begin to reveal things here. It says this, “…for this they willingly are ignorant of,” listen to this, “…that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water, whereby the world that then was being overflowed with water perished” ( vs. 5, 6). See, they didn’t even believe the earth had perished by water since the days of Noah. They said creation continued as it was in the days of creation, but yet he [Apostle Peter] corrected them and said we’ve already had one wipeout of the entire earth. The Lord’s already came once there and wiped the earth clear out with water, but for a few souls. And he [2 Peter 2: 5] mentioned in the chapter preceding this, just a few souls that were saved, about eight of them got out on the ark at that time. Later there were three that got out of Sodom and Gomorrah at that time and destroyed them from the face of the earth (vs. 6, 7). And they say the earth has continued from its beginning, nothing ever happened. You see, daydreamers, scoffers, and he’s correcting them here. They don’t even believe that the earth was destroyed by water, and yet it was at that time. And he goes on to get some deep subjects here and says, “Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men” (2 Peter 3: 6 & 7). And God’s promises said that He would. He told Noah that He would destroy it. “…by the same word it’s kept in the store, reserved unto the fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.” In the preceding chapters he called them brute beasts, and he called them all kinds of ways that they were going up against Paul and him. He was bringing this message out to them there, and they were together [Peter and Paul]. They were bringing it out. And he told them that next time it [judgement] comes, it [the earth] will be destroyed by fire, and you don’t have to worry about it. You scoff now, “Where is the coming of the Lord?” And you begin to say all of these things, the apostle begins to correct them.
5.He tells them something else. Like, you know, it’s been all this time and God hasn’t done anything. He starts telling them there is no such thing as time with God, because a thousand years, he begins to tell them it is like one day. There’s no time for God. They were saying it’s been so long He will never do anything about it, you see, but that’s not so. So, he’s going down here, and he’s going into time dimensions and destruction at the end of the age. And I’ve read this before, but the Lord’s bringing it slightly different here. It should be really interesting here. And so, he said this against the judgment of perdition of ungodly men, in verse 8, “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” In other words, since you were created, it’s only been about four days to God. Stand still, He’s going to get you and turn you on fire. How many of you are still with me now? And in this secret here, I believe, and one time I said, you know, the formula for the atomic bomb, I believe, that Einstein read parts of the Bible, whether he admits it or not, because he also was the one that went into time and relativity. What happens after the speed of light? This is mentioned right here. The atomic bomb is mentioned here, and God’s plagues are mentioned here that He is going to bring and by saying a thousand years as one day, and one day as a thousand years, that’s your time and relativity where he got it. He hadn’t much to say. He coupled that with the atomic bomb, because out of this he was able to know. Such things that could be created were set to heavens clear on fire and destroyed. Therefore, he came up with a formula, split an atom in here. Also, he’d come up with time, and we’ll talk a little bit about it. And so, he [Peter] was trying to tell them it might seem forever to you, but God, in His mercy, it has been just a few hours to him. Can you say, praise the Lord Jesus? That’s exactly right. And you say, how can he do that? You say, well, to the Lord in His mind, He can make it now. No, he doesn’t have to make it in his mind or his heart. One day as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day; he changes dimensions, He can reverse time and He is light. Therefore, he is speedier than all light that travels 186,000 miles per second. He can do that many times over. By going backwards or forwards, He can reverse time, because He is in another dimension to do it and that dimension is so deep that Einstein could not go any further with it. And I don’t pretend to go any further tonight, because some of it is theory, but it’s in the Bible here. And when you can take the Lord, changing dimensions, He can change that dimension, and it seemed like a thousand years. He can change that dimension, that thousand years seem like one day. He can do that, and He can do that for anybody that’s with Him if you get caught up in the supernatural, the lights of God, how many of you believe that? That’s why there is no end of time to Him. He is eternal. And when we get caught up with Him we are eternal with the Lord Jesus in eternity.
6.And he is trying to tell these scoffers, “Where is the promise of the coming of the Lord? Everything’s the same,” he said. They don’t even know about the flood that wiped the earth away, and about Sodom and Gomorrah, the destruction all in there. And then he’s beginning to tell them next time that’s going to bring fire, and he’s beginning to describe it here. And Paul’s sitting there with him because he mentions him here, and he lets him go on with this here. He’s got together; he sees that he’s got the right tune. He’s going on the right tone here. He’s coming on after these fellows. Because if you read those other chapters, they had a fight out in there with some of those kinds of seeds, you know, that are rebellious in nature, never will be able to be converted. They are made to destruction, he says over here, “These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest, to whom the mist of darkness is reserved forever” (2 Peter 217). A misty darkness in there and they’re going up against him here. And then I’m down here in this other chapter, that’s the chapter above chapter 3 of 2 Peter [2 Peter 2] here that we’ve got. And we find out because this earth is changing into dimensions, there’s a phantom spirit coming out of that pit, not at the first part of the seven years of the antichrist, but right in the middle. And when he does, he’s illusionary. And he [phantom spirit] gets into this man then he becomes a beast, the antichrist beast. Everything becomes illusionary to him. They can look upon him and believe that he’s god by just looking and the whole earth will be swept in that way in a delusion. And whatever he shows them, it’s all a delusion. But the phantom spirit from that pit comes in there and does that. And it’s an illusionary spirit. It’s real, all right. But it begins to be a figment of imagination. It’s there, but it’s really not there. You are dealing with the unknown and it’s coming on the earth, and it will strike from the misty regions here. And these fellows here are going to, at the end of the world, are doing the same things. Scoffing and doing these kinds of things about the gospel of Jesus Christ. This delusion which comes, it’s like a mirage where people got out in the desert, you know and they’ve been out there so long, they’ll look and they’ll see palm trees and water and try to jump into the water. There’s nothing there. The same thing makes things seen and when they look upon this beast at the last 42 months, such an illusion. They’ll look upon him and worship him. It’s an illusion, see. The whole earth will be swept, and they wonder after the beast, see? But those names that the Lord has in his book won’t do that, see? He translates them up. This is coming upon the earth.
7.See, people think that if things continue as they were, as these fellows said, if things continue, how in the world is all that going to happen? Oh, they’re not going to continue exactly like they are. There are going to be changes this earth has never even seen before in the history of the earth. The dimensions that God changes on this earth to sweep people into that beast and so there it is, the phantom and they’ll worship it too, right inside there. How many of you are following me tonight? He has attracted, in other words, there is such a thing to it that people will just scream after it, thinking it’s God, it’s an illusion. Now that’s going to happen because their minds have changed, what they see is not what they really see. All right, let’s get back into here. And time and light and dimensions are not what they really seem like either. You’re getting into a mystery here. So, the Lord knows how to reverse. He knows how to go ahead. He can carry a person 2,000 or let’s say 500 years in advance into the millennium. And he can show things that are happening in Jerusalem, things that are happening all around the throne, everywhere in there, what’s happening at that time, and bring him back. He can take him into another dimension and he will wake right up 2,000 years ago and watch the crucifixion of Christ in there. He can wheel back in there and go back to the Garden of Eden and show you what happened there. He’s eternal. See, the human mind, never mind about that, he can hardly believe that it’s even here, let alone get into this. How many of you are still with me? We’re dealing with the unseen, the way that you reach out in those dimensions of power and work those miracles. Things are coming from the Lord. How many of you say, praise the Lord Jesus, because He is going to lay the faith and Word of God in your heart that that kind of a spirit from the pit will not be able, even before his full time comes, to sweep you away from here. The elect will be sturdy, they will hold on because the Bible said, almost would deceive the very elect, meaning very close in many ways, see, but not so. That word is laid right in there. So we get out of the time dimension here. I could tell you some more about this and all about it, but we know that Daniel and John were caught up thousands of years in advance, and there they were standing there at the throne and saw these things. They saw the redemption, and they saw the ones that went through the Great Tribulation standing around the throne, John did, around the Rainbow Throne. He was standing up there several thousand years in advance and looking what was going on, and yet it hadn’t even come to that yet as your time and light, see. And the same thing about Daniel. Thousands of times ten thousand gathered there, and he said, as the Ancient one, white as wool, fire coming out of the throne, issuing forth in a flame, and His wheels were like burning fire, and there He was. And the judgment books and so forth like that. And even John saw the judgment on the last day and saw Him passing by. All of those things in dimensions, thousands of years in advance, and God’s able to do that. Why? He can do anything we ask him to do. Amen? And those prophets were strong, they were confident, and the Lord’s power was real. So, here he’s straightening these fellows out. Same thing today. All right, we’re going in here, and we will leave that alone because it gets so deep that should I tell you some of it, I don’t believe you’d understand it anyway. It deals in faith, and it deals in dimensions here.
8.Now, but the day of the Lord will come as a thief, it’s going to sneak up on you, he’s going to tell those fellows, in the night in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, and the earth also, and the works therein shall be burned up as the atomic blast right out of there (2 Peter 3:10). Here is your time dimension, where a thousand years is one day, and one day is a thousand years with the Lord, and he saw that. He began to work on it. Then down here he saw the elements melting with fervent heat, and the atomic bomb. He gave the formula to it, and then he went into the subject of relativity and time according to the speed of light, and so forth. How many of you know, see where he found it? Right here is where he [Einstein] found it. It’s right in the Bible here. In different places the atomic bombs in the Bible, and those great discoveries and inventions come at the proper time, and God gave them a way to look it up there. Time, relativity is in this chapter. Yes, siree, and cannot be laughed away, scoffed away. You’d be fools to do that. It is written right down here, and the formula of the bomb is written in there too. It’s right in this chapter here, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat. The same thing that they do today.
9.However you look at it, it’s there. “Seeing them, all these things shall be dissolved. What manner of persons ought you to be in the holy conversation with godliness?” (2 Peter 3:11). Looking for and hastening is coming fast; the coming of the day of the Lord. Now, the time that he was giving these warnings, and he was telling these people all about it, the Lord reached on into the future as he was writing, and he was projecting these events because they did not see the things that we see today in inventions. Now that we have seen the elements catch on fire and destroy a thing for hundreds of miles and the radiation in there. See, it wasn’t in his day. Now that we see it in our day, then he was prophesying. No wonder he said, and this is what he said when I opened it up here, “We have also a more sure word of prophecy” (2 Peter 1. 19). How many of you believe that now, when it comes? And he went on over in this other chapter and began to talk about it. Now that we’ve got it 2,000 years later. Then we should be like he said, what manner of persons should we be? This thing is coming, hastening he said, and coming quickly upon the earth. How many of you see what he’s trying to say here for our future, yet talk to those people on that day there? It’s beautiful. It’s for our day more than any other day that he wrote this. And so we see that, looking for and hastening unto the coming of the Lord, because we have seen those prophecies, whereby the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat. “Nevertheless, we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness” in there (Peter 3:13). And there’s what it is. So, there in that chapter we are able to see the heavens catch on fire, the elements melting. It’s in our age and the coming of the Lord is hastening to come upon us. There’s not much time left. I have some things I’ve been working on; science and different things I’ve been working on that’s coming that I will be preaching. I just wish I could tell you tonight, but we’ll go on this. So, on down through here, he’s talking, and we’ll count it here, about verse 15 as we got here. And so he says, “…and account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation, even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given unto him, hath written unto you,” Paul’s talking here, “as also in the epistles,” evidently the argument that he got in was solved, wasn’t it (2 Peter 3:15)? Can you say, praise the Lord? He agreed with him that Paul was right. Some of the things that he was doing, he was ignorant of doing them, and he’d come in there and he told them about them there. You remember that Paul was raised in Europe down in Greece where Asia Minor starts in Turkey there, Asia Minor and he was not in Jerusalem. It’s a long way if you follow the Mediterranean over there. That’s why he knew all about Spain. That’s why he knew all about Italy because he was raised in Greece. He came all the way up to Jerusalem many, many years later there and met with them. And of course, they were kind of scared of him anyway. But nevertheless, he knew the Word of God and God dealt with him. But they’re back together here. “And also, all his epistles that Paul wrote, he says, “…speaking in them of these things,” just what he had been speaking about there, “and which are some things hard to be understood,” Peter said. It is hard to understand what he was writing. Evidently, some of the things that Paul wrote were not put in the Bible but were kept out for certain reasons. But on that day, they were able to see most parts of what he wrote. We got it, because probably everything was not put in the Bible that he wrote, but most of it was, because everything he did was so valuable. All right. “…and which are some things hard to be understood, which they,” now listen to this, “…which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest as they do also the other scriptures unto their own destruction” (2 Peter 3: 16). See, they don’t know the Scriptures. Still about those people who were saying, “Where is the coming of the Lord and all that? They are unlearned and unstable.
10.They wrest, they try to wrest the Scriptures of Paul, wrest the Scriptures of the apostles there, “…as they do also other scriptures unto their own destruction.” You cannot wrest those scriptures. How many of you know that? You cannot make those scriptures say what you want them to say. Those Scriptures must say just exactly what God says. That’s why He sends people to interpret it just exactly right. And when you bring the Bible, it’s been interpreted so much the wrong way. I don’t know whether they caught on that the other night or not, but they have [scriptures] been preached the wrong way so often. Some men have preached properly. I will say they’ve preached the Scriptures, but they’ve been preached this way, they’ve been preached that way, until people have got a misunderstanding. And then when the Lord comes like a flame, the very One, the Author of this book with His Holy Spirit Eye, and He comes and brings that Word just exactly as it’s supposed to be interpreted, as close as humanly possible that a man can get it, it won’t look right, but it’ll be right on time. How many of you are still with me? Because they teach a little differently here and a little bit different there. However, the Lord will bring souls out of it, and the Lord will bring salvation out of it too, because some of it is not that far off. But some of these mysteries and things, they just didn’t know how to preach them, so they just preached them anyway. But some people took it as doctrine because somebody might have influence or a name or a minister across the nation. And I am not saying I am infallible either, and I’m not saying I know it all, but I do know this. I can tell myself when God reveals [reveals] this Word that it’s a little different than what you have heard many times. Some of it is like what they preach and so forth, but it comes with some anointing that matches it. And in that anointing, He is laying a branding iron in there, and He is sealing this in your hearts so that satan cannot pull you away by any kind of delusion. Are you seeing what he’s doing for you there? Else delusion comes in there. So we have that. So, they wrest the scriptures to their own destruction, and that’s what those people were doing, that were saying and scoffing and saying, Where is the coming? All things are just exactly like they were, and that’s when he began to tell them they weren’t, that there had already been a flood. Next time there will be fire, and that with the Lord it was just yesterday, see, and he was talking to him like that. And there will be great destruction coming out of heaven. Well, they probably mocked and laughed about it, same time in the days of Noah. He told them it would rain. It had never rained before. It must come up out of the earth and he said it was going to rain, destroying everything. They just laughed at him to scorn. Their scientific mind said, oh, see, now he’s really, see, that even really, really, really… if he hadn’t said that some of them might have believed a little bit. But once he had said that that really threw them, see, and they got away from him.
11.But did you know that heaven’s darkened for the first time? And that dimension to them that changed would be about as far as anything that we can change in today, the difference in what we see is going to happen. And the heavens, they had never seen it that way before. “Look at this. What is this?” Clouds begin to come up. Thunder began to happen. They thought God Himself had begun to talk, they’d never heard it before. They said, “God’s talking in the heavens, let’s head for the ark, hear that thunder and that lightning just go across there and lighten everything up.” Rain began to come down, streams in the night, storms in there, you see. And they saw a dimension that they had never seen before because it had never rained out of heaven with clouds and thunder and lightning and winds, howling winds. They had never seen anything like it before, torrents of rain, everything broken up in there. And so, they got to see something they’ve never seen before. And [Apostle Peter] said the elements will catch on fire, more dramatic than what they saw today and far more destructive. It will catch on fire, and the elements will blow up in every direction there. And they said, “Oh, we don’t believe that” you see. Today they don’t believe that. But since they’ve got the atomic bomb, a few more of them are saying, “Well, I kind of believe it now.” See, God was right to begin with. Can you say amen? Before they saw the atomic bomb, they laughed at this scripture too and scoffed at it. Maybe some preacher said, “I don’t see how the elements and all that catch on fire and destroy everybody” at that time. And all of a sudden, a little fellow comes along, gives him a formula and when it goes off, it just destroys everything and now they’ve got it for hundreds of miles to destroy, there it is. Now they say, well, well, we believe, see, some of them, it can be destroyed. And the bible says unless the Lord shortened it, there’d be no flesh saved. See? And they said, “What kind of destruction could that be?” Well, see, just a few of what they got out in the submarines in different places of the world can destroy the whole world now that we live in. And the days will have to be shortened, or none saved during the great tribulation. He [the Lord] knows what He’s doing in there. And so with this, they wrest the scriptures to their own destruction, see, not believing.
12.He will come. Jesus is coming. And like I say, he and the work in His great creation, to Him, it’s just a matter of hours. He doesn’t, He’s not like humans like we are today. And you therefore, beloved, seeing, you know that these things before, beware lest ye also being led away with error of the wicked…(2 Peter 3: 17). He is warning, don’t be led away with the error of the wicked. Don’t fall from your steadfastness listening to the loud mouths that are saying the Lord is not coming. And they’re out there, they’re scoffing and all that. Paul said, don’t do it. Hold your steadfast lest you be led away in error because it is true. “But grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to him be glory both now and forever” (v. 18). And those words spoken there is in eternity with God for now and forever. How many of you feel, how many of you see that? We now have a more sure word of prophecy coming upon the earth. God is dealing with his people and the inventions that we see today, make it true. I’ve got some scriptures I would like to read here. “Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath, fierce anger” (Isaiah 13.9). See, mercy has expired and that runs out. The earth changes. Now it’s coming under a different dimension. “The day of the Lord cometh both cruel and wrath and fierce anger to lay, the land desolate.” It will be like a desolation and in just about one hour, parts of the earth will be like a desert ( Revelations 18). One place it says in one day, another place it says in one hour. The Middle East will look like a desert. No matter how many trees they put in there. God is coming, the land desolate and He shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it (Isaiah 13. 9). The ones that will be destroyed will be the sinners, the unbelievers, the one that do not believe, see. “For then shall be great tribulation such as was not since the beginning of the world until this time. No, nor ever shall be, and except those days should be shortened, there should be no flesh saved. But for the elect’s sake, those days shall be shortened (Matthew 24:21& 22). There are several time dimensions in there, shortened some, the translation of the bride. It goes to that tribulation right then, it shortens again and there’s something more that happens in there. Then shortened in Armageddon and then the great day of the Lord is poured out, and they come then into the Millennium. And then finally over into the Last Judgment there. So, we see this generation is already beginning in some ways to witness and to feel the beginning of sorrows and its coming upon the earth.
13.Time is coming that we will see those things and the Bible talks about it here. We have it also in the bible here. But Jesus said this to the sinner and Jesus said, “Him that cometh unto me I will in no wise cast out.” Isn’t that marvelous? All of this tonight, everything that was spoken here tonight, all of these things that will come the Lord makes a way so simple there’s no one can escape it. He’s got His door wide open, all those who will listen, listen to this right here. And Jesus says to the sinner, …And him that cometh unto me I will in no wise cast him out (John 6:37). See there will be no excuse, will there? There will be no excuse at all when they go through those things because He has given us a witness not only by miracle, signs, and wonders but the word alone, preached under a powerful anointing that alone shall convict and by that alone he would have to stand before the judgment. Can you say amen? Because some of them will through the ages that got just to hear the Word of God preached without seeing any miracles. That Word will still judge him according to that light, he cannot escape the Word of God for it is in there. So all of these secrets, now he said that the Lord is not slack concerning His promises either and all these things Peter said that I’m talking about to that fellow, those fellows there, he said they will come to pass because God is not slack, it will come. This time it will be by fire purging the earth there. And then dropping from here over in some more scriptures, you get into some things that are occurring there and you know the Bible said heaven, it is so deep into that and the regions of God until it would take a long time to explain it all. But different scriptures here on just the subjects that we were talking about, about time and so forth like that. I will tell you one thing, just one change, just a moment, a twinkling of an eye and you wouldn’t believe what God will do for you. How many of you believe that tonight? It will be in a twinkling of an eye when that body changes and what takes place in that point, nobody could record or do it if it took them billions of years and yet one twinkling of an eye. So much will happen in your life from that point into eternity that books upon this earth could not describe what you will be doing with God and how you will change and what you will be doing and how many dimensions you will be going into because those secrets are left in the hands of the Most High God.
14.But He is not slack concerning His promises either to the bride of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is not slack concerning His promises of judgment on the earth. He will bring them all in their proper time. So we see with all of these things, the door is wide open. So as Jesus said this, as it were in the days of Noah, so shall it also be in the time of the coming of the Son of Man. In other words, they will be saying the same things, doing the same things and it will take place (Luke 17:26). Then the Bible says this, and while they went to buy, the bridegroom came and they were ready. Now that’s my job. They were ready. Who were those that were ready? See, the ones that listened here tonight, the ones that took time out to get this in their heart, the ones that believe this tonight, those are the ones–that every word that was preached here and how the Lord brought this, said this right here–they that were ready went in with him to the marriage and the door was shut (Matthew 25:10). Now relating back, and the door was shut on the ark and a thunder and lightning and storm came. The door is shut and a thunder and lightning of great tribulation comes upon the earth and finally dissolves in fire and the elements catch on fire. They cannot escape it and it’s there, (Matthew 25:10)..
15.They were ready. Are you ready tonight? How many of you are ready tonight? You’ve got to be ready. I can’t let you come out here and go to sleep. See spiritually, you’ve got to be ready. And there’s a quickening, there’s a type of energy in me, anointing. When I get in front of people or anywhere as far as I’m writing or whatever I’m doing, it’s a quickening power. It quickens the mortal body. It’s to keep you quickened by the Holy Spirit and alert you, lest it come slipping up on you unawares. And He said, He will come like a thief in the night. How many of you can say, praise the Lord? Thank God for his word. Isn’t that wonderful? And you can go on and on through here and see what it is. And remember therefore, how that thou has received and heard, hold fast and repent. If therefore thou shall not watch, I shall come upon thee as a thief, and thou shall not know what hour I shall come upon thee (Revelation 3:3). “Watch you therefore, lest coming suddenly he shall find you sleeping “(Mark 13:35 & 36). As the lightning shineth out of the east and west, here He comes, a flash of lightning. See that’s probably at the very end of the tribulation, at one time there He will come, but He is coming for the elect first, towards the time. How many of you feel the power of God here tonight? And He is coming too. And they that were ready went in with him. So we see, we have a more sure word of prophecy coming as the age closes out. The prophetic gift of utterance, God to His people, revealing things. He will begin to show us; time is running out. You can feel the time running out. You can see it; you can just discern the urgency. It is all about us today. And I can tell you one thing; He is coming for those that were ready. They had done something. They had kept themselves awake. They had kept themselves alert. They had heard the Word of God. They were loyal. Can you say praise the Lord Jesus? They were watchful. They were in prayer. They were thankful. They were praising God. They were leaping for joy. They were shouting what? The victory. Glory, Hallelujah!
16.I want you to stand to your feet tonight for just a few scriptures here. We really got into something, didn’t we? Glory to God, I just turned into that and decided to preach a little bit on it tonight here. But we can see the prophecy, a more sure word with the inventions around us. Even now it’s more sure than when the apostle was able to give it. We can see it far better than Paul and them in the day that we live in, putting all the scriptures together in association. There is no way to escape, but we know the truth and we know the season is coming upon us. So tonight, if you don’t think you are ready in your heart, you come down here in front and if you need Jesus tonight, you just open up your heart and Jesus is everywhere. He’s all in the air. You can breathe Him. Glory, Hallelujah! He is real. And those that want to be more prepared and more ready, you come down here and we will overcome. Why? By our faith in the victory of the Lord. I’m going to pray that there’s a release coming to your soul and that God will bless your heart until Sunday morning. Come on down here and shout the victory. They that were ready, come on right here and get ready. Glory, hallelujah! Good job. Shout the victory! Shout the victory! Oh, praise God! Isn’t that wonderful? He’s going to bless your heart. Bless your heart. Come on! Oh, Jesus. Bless every one of them, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. Oh, thank you, Lord! You get ready, tonight! He will loose you! They were ready, are you ready for the trip? Jesus, He will bless you. Everyone, Lord loosen them. Thank you, Jesus! Praise God, Hallelujah! He is great! He is going to bless your heart tonight! Oh, Jesus bless every one of them tonight. Thank you, Jesus! Thank you, Lord!
