PROPHETIC URGENCY Neal Frisby’s Sermon CD #1180 10-18-87 (AM)
Thank you, Jesus. Sure, good and refreshing to be in the house of the Lord, isn’t it? Praise the Lord, Jesus. How victorious! You will win your battles. What you haven’t won during the week, you will win them right here today and tonight. We will praise and we will give God the glory and worship Him with all of our heart, entering His gates with praise and thanksgiving always. You may not feel like giving the Lord thanks, you may not feel like praising the Lord, but when you make an effort to do it and you keep making an effort, pretty soon you’re gonna love to praise the Lord. Pretty soon He’s gonna help you praise Him. Amen. He has to help you praise Him with a breath to get you started anyway, doesn’t He? Amen. Praise the Lord! Just thanking Him for that. We love you, Jesus, this morning. Lord, we know that You are going to move on Thy people, touching the hearts here and the bodies, Lord, and guiding your people with a new and nice and wonderful anointing upon them, Lord, increasing their faith. Move now and lead in all of our ways, Lord, and guide Thy people. Anoint, take the stress and all of these things out of them today. Touch the new hearts here, Lord, and we love You and believe it’s all being done now. I know it’s been done. Give the Lord a hand clap! Thank You, Jesus. Amen. Go ahead and be seated. Feeling really good.
Now, this morning, this message, we are going to kind of lay a foundation here before we get in the main message, and you listen to it real close because you know, in the ministry, you come across questions and different times the questions are good. They don’t understand this. They don’t understand. Sometimes, you know, we just go by faith, and if you don’t understand a lot of things. But some of these questions are really good, and we will try to get on some of them, and we’ll lay a foundation here this morning. And that Wednesday night sermon already blessed your hearts, amen, if you know how to use it. So, we got a new one here today. We are going to come into this message here, and then whatever the Lord has tonight, you be here.
1.Now, Prophetic Urgency, a prophetic urgency. Surely at the end of the age, there has to be the greatest urgency of all time because it is right at the doors but listen to this right here. Use caution, watch and pray. Now, He will give some final clues, some final signals, and so forth like that, and we will lay a foundation before I get the message here. Listen to this right here. The Bible said this here in Matthew 24: 33, “So likewise, ye when you shall see all of these things…” Now, it said all of these things. We will get to that in a moment. Through history, a certain amount of them took place, but when you start seeing them, all of these things take place, knowing that it is even at the door from the Lord. Then it says here, the Lord is at hand. That’s one of the scriptures there, the end of all things, and the Lord is at hand. The day is at hand, at any time, the bible says, nearer than when we first believed. Yet a little while, He will not tarry. The coming of the Lord draweth nigh. The Judge standeth before the door, standing right there. It is near. It is very near, even at the door. All of this reveals to us that He can come at any time and through history, they didn’t have these kinds of signs that we have today. And all during history, sometimes people, you know, they would just quit and give up like that, go up the mountaintops. We’re gonna get into some different things here, and you listen real close. Right now, by the signs that they didn’t have at the time that they thought the Lord was coming, we know Israel is in their homeland. That’s a great sign there.
2.Look at Russia, it’s fulfilling prophecy to the ultimate, exactly as Ezekiel 38 and other scriptures said it would be fulfilled. Europe’s fulfilling the prophecy, exactly as the Lord said. Religious systems are rising upon the earth, growing large, exactly as the Lord said. The quakes and so forth over the earth. California is shaking, exactly for the great one that will come, and parts will fall into the sea, catastrophic. And someday, I will go into detail in the earlier part of my ministry and tell you things I probably never told you before and we will tell you some things that I’ve written and so forth. I don’t know what I said in here, but I wrote about them and so forth like that and we will talk about that. But the quakes all over the world, the different signs of weather patterns and so forth like that [because there were leaders and other things tied to a certain prophecy that the Lord gave me that goes right into the end of the age], we will try to get around to that. But we look around and we see all over the earth, all of these signs fulfilling at one time. Now, for a while, this sign appears for a while. Pestilence would appear for a while. It would go away and quakes would appear for a while, some of them and there would be other signs for a while. Wars would appear for a while. Famine would appear for a while. But now at the end of the age, when you see all Luke 21 and Matthew 24 chapters, when you see all of this at the same time, know it draweth nigh, it is even at the doors. Now, we have that. And with all of this urgency, and it seems to some Christians, like I say, it is even at the doors, it is at hand. Some people, you know, they panic. If the Lord comes right now, let us go on with the service, amen? If the Lord comes at the end of the service, I’m going to preach until He takes me up. I’m not gonna stop and wait, I am going to preach. How many of you believe that? Amen. And I have people, you know, that ask different questions and everything. So all over the earth, we see all of these things right here. And at the end of the time, and for the last, I believe, probably the last 40 years, that people thought the Lord was going to come at any minute. But the end is not yet, he said, wars and rumors of wars and so forth like that.
3.So the age-old question has been asked, what does the Christian do? I’ve had people write, and said, “Look like the Lord is getting close to coming.” I’ve had people in here send me notes and said, “The Lord could come at any time, couldn’t He? Don’t we, aren’t we all in all of the signs and most of it left for the tribulation?” That is right. But what does a Christian really do? Now, let’s get into some questions. Did [should] he just quit, get up, run to the mountaintops, you know? Like in many times, prophecies and different things have happened in the bible, people would flee and they would go off and leave their jobs, and they were afraid and they would go up on top of mountains. I believe God will give a great sign. I believe He is going to give us some definite signs, and they will be given and He will have the Word and a prophet. They will be given at the time, He will reveal, they will know why. It will not be like behind us where it’s been, but in the front. Those with their eyes open will know how close it is drawing, probably within days. They’ll not know the day and the hour, no. But He didn’t say anything about the weeks, the months, or the year. So we will probably even know within days that it’s getting real close. Things won’t be like they are today here. There will be an increase of pleasure and all other things. Then there will be all types of crises, all types of things taking place that we’ve never seen before in the history of the world. Even people will change and be looking different at that time. I already saw it. I know what’s going to take place, but that’s for the future there. We’re getting closer and closer and closer here.
4.So, what does a Christian do? See, is the age-old question. Jesus said, “Occupy until I come.” That shows activity right up until the day that He comes. And I’ve had people write these questions and some right in this church here, all of my ministry, and we are gonna touch on what will occur when the translation takes place. What is going to happen? Now listen here. So we find out, occupy until I come (Luke 19:13). It means continue to preach, continue to work, continue to testify, continue to heal the sick, continue to save the soul, right up until I close the door. How many of you believe that? Noah worked right on up until the end of everything and told about it, and then God shut the door. See, like the translation, He just shut the door in there, testify, work. Jesus said they’d be building, they’d be buying, and they would be selling, they’d be in commercial activity all over the earth at that time. Always that’s going on, hawking their wares and selling and going and building and buying and all of this. And some people say, “Well, should I build a house or buy a house or what? Well, if you’re gonna rent one, I don’t know, you can buy one if you want to. See, He said, “Occupy until I come.” How many of you believe that? Shall I get a car? Yeah, if you want one, you get a car. That’s up to you, whatever you want to do there. Now, if you’ve got plenty of money and you’d like to go out there, somewhere and fast and pray until the Lord comes, that’s your business, amen, if you don’t have any other obligations. How many of you are still with me now? I would testify to the Lord and testify about the Lord’s coming and so forth like that. That’s exactly right. Occupy until I come. And planning, buying, all of this goes on, and you can read it (Luke 17: 28-30), He said, until the Son of Man, right at the end, is revealed and the day they went out, fire and brimstone fell. But it was right up, the activity was right up until that time.
5.And then we find here, verses 34 – 36, that’s obvious clues that He is leaving us. Actually, after He said, “Occupy until I come” and what I’ve told you to do, He said, go all over the cities and go all over the earth and preach the gospel unto every creature and so forth like that. And here He gives us some clues here in Luke 17, we got verses 34-36 here. Now He said, one shall be in the field, and one shall be left. One was working, one was working in the field and the other left. Two women together, one taken and one left. Two sleeping in bed, one taken and one left. Now, what does that show us? It shows that they will be working in the field, one gone. It shows also that one part of the earth, it will be daylight and the other part of the earth, it will be night. One sleeping, one working. How many of you are still with me? Now we know in the United States when it’s light here, it’s dark in China, different places like Japan over there, the time is completely off, 24 hours nearly or quite a few hours off. It’s dark in one place and light here. So, the Lord said, in one place they’re sleeping and the other place they are working but that’s not gonna stop me from coming. See, it is timed. How many of you know that? Now, it could happen here between 3 and 6 o’clock in the morning, right here. See, at this time, we do not know it. It could be light all over the world. See, it’s wherever God chooses that how close the bride matches those scriptures and the parables and everything you begin to see the ones closest to Him in the United States are probably closer than anywhere else and as far, saith the Lord, as they can get on top of it. How many of you are still with me? You better believe it. That’s because they’ve watered down the gospel and think they are all safe out there, you know, preaching about 30, 40, 60% of the Word. They better stay with that 100% if they want to go in 100% translation, amen. If you want 100% light, saith the Lord, then you have to have 100% of my Word if you want 100% light.
6.Believe it all, believe everything in the Bible, everything in there. You’re going to have 100% light to get out of here, amen. The others, they kind of drag. They go out through the tribulation, so all these scriptures become obvious, you know. One’s left here and one’s there and so forth and maybe I can get something else and I’ll tell you in a moment here. One left, one working here. Now, we find out here. Yeah, some people ask questions. “Brother Frisby, what if my wife is pregnant? What about the pregnant women and the rapture of the church? Well, that little child will change too. If you are the elect of God and believe in God, the woman will be changed, the child will be changed. Jesus said, “Suffer the little children to come to me” and that’s what He meant. How many of you believe that? They will come right to Him. You say, how old will they be? The age He wants them to be. We do not know how it’s going to happen and she’s in the hospital; it makes no difference, God will come and when He does that, that child will go right up. You better believe it. How many of you believe that? That’s exactly right. You see, you’re not dealing with a man. God will do the delivery for you. Amen. You will never even know it. You will see the child by you at the age God wants it. He’d be a celestial child. If he is a child of the Lord and you’re a child of the Lord, that’s exactly what’s going to take place. So, people have wondered about that. There’s no problem to that at all and you say, “Is there some scripture somewhere that God, you know, gives us?” Well, He often said the woman will be like travailing with a child. How many believe that? Trying to tell you something. Revelation 12:5 has one symbolism and it’s spiritual where the elect of God are caught up and the woman gives birth to the child and it’s caught up. Now, that is in a spiritual meaning in the Bible, but if you take it literally, then those women bearing children will be caught up, saith the Lord.
7.Well, now He comes back with that picture, see, and He gives you several different things in that picture. One’s a spiritual seed going up and one could be the physical that God’s showing because a woman had a child that was caught up in heaven, so forth like that. Isn’t He great when He drops those revelations through there in picture form, symbolism, parables, and so forth like that. He comes back and redoes it in different ways in all kinds of ways and so that’s one there. Revelation 12:5 will tell you about that and they are changed, see, immediately and you are changed if you’re the elect and the Lord comes to you. Suffer the little children to come to me, Jesus says. And some people, you know, I want to read something here right now. We will get on to this right. You say, “What, what if a Christian was really old, you know, and it happened to be, come his time and he died a day or two before and so forth like that and he’s in the funeral home?” That light will come back and get him right there. If he was in the ground, it’d come back and get him there and he will come, he will change into that light right in the funeral home, they will walk back in there. If they’re not a Christian, that guy’s gone, the body and all. You know, they had the science fiction, you know, the pictures, body snatchers and all that and they won’t wonder. We will get, look, maybe we will get a time getting this science fiction and people will think, “Well, that must have been what happened to them and so forth like that and they will be gone just like in the graves.” Those that love the Lord will come out of that grave and they will be gone and the same as those that died, maybe they died an hour or two or before, because, see, the earth is billions and billions of people. God calls those times in there. He lets things go on just like that, like nothing’s gonna happen. Then He says, “Come up, hither,” just like that. Nothing known, see? No, no, He’s got it already prearranged, pre-done, predestinated, everything in His heart, everything in His mind. So that person laying there, suddenly that light will come back into that body. They will be changed like the ones in the graves, and they will be caught up with us or whoever is alive to meet the Lord in the air. I believe it will be us, don’t you?
- I believe that the people alive now, let’s say it that way, on the earth, many of those alive now will see the coming of the Lord according to the signs and evidence around us. But we will occupy and continue on just like we are, to ride it up. There will be some great signals given and right at the point, God will deal in a most unusual way with His people just before the coming of the Lord and we are getting close. My, it’s getting closer and closer and closer. So, we find out that’s what happened. They will be changed and they will go up. How about the planes, people set in the air? Most of them will be electronic guiding systems, so forth, like that, they’re moving into that. And you say, how about those people living in space at that time? Some of them are going out there and in space, but they are out there. He said, “I will bring them back.” How many of you believe that? In the Bible, I will bring them back from space if they are flying around out there. If they are one of my children, I’ll bring them back down. If they’re not, later, I am gonna bring them back down. Amen. He says that in the Bible in many scriptures where He said, “I’ll go into space and bring them back out of heaven and so forth.” No matter how far they go, He says, they’re coming back down. Amen. So we find out, and you know, with electronics and so forth, a multitude of people missing, much of that will be hidden in electronics, but it will take place. Now in our science fiction movies today, they have encounters and saucers and different things and all types, I guess. You hear them announced, read about them or something like people missing and so forth like that. The earth will probably say, “You know what? Just like that picture I saw, the people’s gone, you know. They [flying saucers] come and get them, you know” They won’t know what in the world! Why the real sinner, ones that are really dogmatic, are going to take the mark and all of that. Why, he will think up all kinds of things. You can tell him anything and he will believe it, anything. Now those fleeing that were chosen to be in the great tribulation, they know, they know, they know what has taken place. You don’t have to tell them that they are gone, see. And then comes that mark on the earth. You can’t tell the sinners, they will think up all kinds of things that happened, you know when these disappearance of multitudes might be in the newspapers that way and they, it’s a great mystery, don’t understand it, you know, and so forth like that. You might have a few that remember, “Well, my mother used to say sometimes they’re gonna be taken but, you know, I don’t know about that.” “I’ve seen a science fiction theater, people were taken inside of a thing and taken off the earth here and they’re missing all the time.” “Every day somebody’s missing over there, they don’t know what happens to them,” see? But there will be a group of people off of this planet that will be gone with the Lord Jesus. How many of you believe that? Amen. Nothing’s going to stop it. Nothing, nothing’s going to stop it.
9.The same thing happened today. Time is getting closer and closer and closer. Somebody says, how about the bills? Well, why worry about it now? Most of you never worried too much before. How about the bills? Well, whatever is there is going to be there. How many of you know that? Maybe at the time many of you people will see it coming so close, ah, that you won’t go into that as much as you did. It will be something that the Lord will signal, we don’t know and if it is there, well, they want all the earth and the property. They will be glad to see you gone anyway, they don’t really care, take your car, take your house, take everything you got. I’ve often said this, ah, when the translation takes place, whoever wants this [Capstone Cathedral], you can come here and you can have it if you want to, but I’m afraid, ah, you will have to take the mark if you’re gonna run it. How many of you are still with me? That’s exactly right.. How many of you believe that? Sure, great! And, if you got property, a car, whatever, it just, ah, they want it, sell them, let them have it. They are greedy, they want the whole earth. Let them have the whole earth. Amen. That’s exactly right. But he’ll do it in such a way, man, I believe by that time, many people have lost what they had, just about. How many of you are still with me? We will see that coming, that antichrist creeping there, taking that property and dividing it up, the bible says, all over the earth. And Daniel, probably chapter 11:39-40 in there, how he divides that up computer style and everything all over the earth, and the different ways that money is handled and what’s going to take place, so we know. So, don’t worry about that, just go on about your life, about your business. Occupy, Jesus said, until I come. That’s why He said, occupy, because He knew, He knew through history that the people would not have the signs that we have today. Now, He knew that, so He said, “Occupy until I come.”
10.Like it was in the 1800s. I mean, both these things happened around the 1800s. There was a day that turned dark, and it was dark, and the chickens, they went at noon, and they crowed, and it got dark, and people got scared, and people ran out in the streets and began to repent. They thought it was the dark day of the Lord. They have this on record, too, in the newspapers. Way back there, it was dark, you came up for several hours, it was just dark, probably some powerful, mighty eclipse took place, but it was dark. And the people, they began to cry out, and their churches began to pack out, and the people began to run and get in the churches and say, “Lord, save me.” And they were scared, you know, that the Lord was coming because they had been told about the book of Revelation, the darkness of the earth, “The Lord’s coming, the Great Tribulation was upon us, we better get it.” they said. A remarkable change came across multitudes of people because there was such a great sign given to them there. Then, you know, when the light came back, and it passed over, and everything returned back to normal, they went back down to the bars, began to drink, and began to go around here, and they forgot all about the Lord, a few days there. And the others that really loved the Lord stayed about like they were. How many of you believe that? Sure, see that, what happens to people? That’s why the translation, you come up hither, but those will be given signs, great signs will be all around them, and they’ll have the signs, every direction will be given a signal, a definite clue that God will give us many clues. And we will know, there will be a sign, but to the world out, they won’t know anything, or anything about. Then another time, there’s great star showers, in the 1800s, and these stars began to fall all over, star showers every direction, and the people got scared, for hours great star showers everywhere were falling out, that God allowed them to fall out. Now, I see He was trying to show us something today, and the people ran out, you know, and thought the Lord was coming, and they repented, and so forth like that, you know, and they got afraid again, when it passed over, everything went back to normal.
11.Now, during the war, as prophetic shadows, as typical shadows of things to come, God allowed three men to rise upon earth, the book of Revelation said there will be three at the end of the age, three frogs, who rose up to Armageddon, deceiving the whole world at the battle of Armageddon. First, we find out Adolf Hitler arose as a type of the Antichrist, and he arose, and the way he talked, and looked, and what he was going to do, and the armory that he was building, and the war material that was coming, it frightened people, and they said he’s the Antichrist, there’s the Antichrist, see. And all of a sudden, many people fled into the mountains, so forth. After a while, Hirohito, or the Japanese guy, at that time, arose at the time there. Mussolini, he rose up with his big jaw, and got in there like that, you know, and he looked like the very Antichrist himself, in Rome there. All of them were together there, and there were three. The Bible said at the end of the age, the beast, they said the Antichrist, the beast, and the false prophet will be at the end of the age. These three great things that came together there, and they thought, surely this is what’s going to take place and people, they quit everything they were doing, you know, and they fled. We don’t know, we weren’t, you know, really, I was very young at that time. A lot of people didn’t do that, but a lot of people, they just went off, and they got groups together in the mountains, and so forth, like this, you know. And then they found out, you know, after the war ended, that they were really let down. Some wrote books, printed pages of books, and they were very sorry, because they scared them. It did look scriptural, and it looked like the things that the Bible had talked about, but Israel was not yet in her homeland. And He said, when Israel’s in her homeland, then said, when all these things take place, then it is even at the door.
12.If Israel would have been in the homeland, that would have been a different story. Now you let those three start rising with Israel in the homeland, her borders surrounded by armies on every side, and including the assault of Russia upon her there, and you will find out, now is the time that you can say at any time, at any moment, it looks like it can take place, and it will take place soon. But as I say again, even though you have more signs, even though you know it is growing very close, Jesus said, “Occupy until I come, preach the gospel to every creature, and everywhere that you can witness.” For every witness that you give, the Lord is gonna have a thank you in heaven. I really believe that in my heart. He loves a soul winner. He loves one that will testify and stand up for His Word for a few people have the backbone to really stand up. They may mumble a few things out, but you get that backbone, put that Word out there, and I’ll tell you, He’s looking for that, amen, He’s looking for it. And at the age that we live in, they would think all of these things, you know, and so forth like that. But we’re getting very close to the Lord, and Jesus Himself said, “Work now, for the night cometh, when no man shall be able to do anything.” And the parables of the Bible, Matthew 25, begins to show the wise and the foolish, and the midnight cry. We are in that midnight cry of power. Then Jesus said this, watch and pray, He said this, for you know not what hour the Lord cometh there. He said, for as a snare shall it come upon the face of the whole earth, and take them by a snare, but we’re to occupy, we’re to work right up, even according to the parables, right up to the end of the evening. How many of you believe that? And until the end of the age, and right now, where we are at now, with all of the evidential signs, it looks like almost you could take off, amen. But still there is a time, and that time that’s left, is a quick, short, powerful work that we’ve never seen before to those that He’s loved, and we enter into that. It’s not going to be a long revival, as far as I can tell in the scriptures, what He calls a short, quick, powerful revival, is up to Him, but yet it’s going to be a short, quick work.
13.Jesus, by revealing this to us, when He did His work in Israel, He was on earth for 30 years there, as a Messiah, but He is the Ancient One, the Bible says, but as a Messiah, in the form of that body, around those people. And then we know that Jesus ministered for a little over three, about three and a half years, and He was able to reach, and to touch all the hearts that He wanted to touch at that time. It was the most powerful, and stunning, astonishing ministry that the world has ever seen. God, in the form of man, works miracles that we too, by believing like Him, can do. He was an example to show us what we could do, that really believe all things are possible. Now three and a half years later, He got the job done, and went His way, and during that time, the whole world has eternal life. Now, when the real heart of that quick, short work, I don’t say that it will take three and a half years, but it could be identical to how that He did in Israel. To the elect of God, He even said that it would be greater, towards the end of the age. He said, for the works I do, shall you do, and He said greater, because He is coming back in the Holy Spirit at the end of the age. And He’s gonna shake that earth spiritually, and then He’s gonna shake it apart physically, and then He’s gonna put it back together again. Glory, Hallelujah! How many of you are still with me now? Praise the Lord! So right now, as it is, whether we go through a quick, short work of a year or two, we don’t know, but we do know this, that’s what He was. But we’re to prepare our hearts, stay ready, however He does it. I believe if He even showed me how many years, I probably wouldn’t say anything about it. I want to keep people right on their toes, because that’s where they need to be, amen. Don’t give them too much time, because it will destroy them, amen. But it is close, it is closer than ever before, and if you’re ever going to do anything in your heart, and ever do anything in uniting yourself together, and to grow stronger in the faith–because the first thing you know, you will say, “Well, you know, I am going to now, I’m gonna grow stronger in faith–now, and next time, it will be a year gone, see. And the next time, it will be two years gone, look back at the 10 or 15 escaped, you ain’t where you’re at yet, saith the Lord. Glory, Hallelujah! Now, that’s not me talking, that’s Him! But the people of the Lord are getting closer and closer, and to hear these messages, and the power, and what the Lord’s been doing, you ought to just grow right on up into the form of that Capstone, right straight on up into the Word of the Lord, that forms a last point. How many of you believe that?
14.I want you to stand on your feet. Remember this, if it looks like that He’s coming the next day, “Occupy until I come.” Witness, testify, go on about your business, and look, and watch, and watch, and look for the Lord, for He can come at any time. The Bible said, any moment, anytime, any hand, it is at the hand, it is even at the doors. Ah, one thing we got going for us, we see all these signs happening at one time, where they didn’t, all of these are happening at one time, and Israel’s in the homeland. And so you people, and these questions, so some people get to wondering, you know, about pregnant women, they get to wondering about funeral homes, they get to wondering about what’s going on, see. The Lord takes care of that even in the Scriptures, if you know how to find it, it is in the Scriptures. How many of you believe that? Now, if you think, if you think man can do certain things, and man can do this, man can do that, how much better is God gonna do what He’s gonna do with us? I can tell you, don’t worry about anything. I feel the Holy Spirit saying, don’t worry about how the Lord’s going to take care, and do all those things for it is a very simple thing, but you want to take care about yourself, and prepare yourself, and get ready, and take care of that. How many of you believe it? Amen. Now, watch and pray, be ready, always. You know He is coming for those that watch and pray, those that are expecting Him.
15.How many of you feel good this morning? You feel the power of God, amen. All right, now, if any of you are new here, don’t delay giving your heart to the Lord. Let Him lead the rest of your life, let Him move in, and guide you in your life, and so forth like that. You just repent, give your heart to the Lord Jesus, and get in one of these prayer lines that we have praying for. We see fantastic miracles, and that’s another thing, the miracles He put upon the earth, the things that are occurring show that time is running out. Get in one of these prayer lines and let the Lord bless you. Now, this morning, I want you to reach up and let us thank the Lord. Be in this service tonight, we will have a great service tonight. You are here, and we will see what the Lord has me to do, film, preach, or what, we’ll be here. You lift up your hands this morning, and you thank the Living God, you’re able to hear messages that are preparing, and actually taking away some of the doubts about how it’s going to take place. You thank the Lord for talking to you. He talked to you. The Lord is talking to you. God is telling me what to tell you, “I know what’s on some of the hearts.” It’s there.
