The Excellent Way Neal Frisby’s Sermon CD #1197 2-14-88 (AM)

Thank you, Jesus. Oh, how great the Lord is. How wonderful He is to His people. No God like our God. No God like our God. They’ve got a lot of gods in this world, and they think they’ve got the Lord in many different false cults and doctrines, but they don’t. But when you really get the real One, there’s something there that’s different. Lord, we love you this morning, and we thank you. Oh, what a day is coming, what a day of rejoicing! Oh my, Lord Jesus, touch your people this morning. All of these old burdens that come and go will be gone forever, Lord. They will be gone forever then. Take away the pains and all the mental oppression that satan would put upon Thy people, Lord. We rebuke him. Touch the new hearts here this morning, revealing the revelation of Thy Word, the power of Thy signs, Lord, that reveal to us our time is short. Let Thine anointing work among the people of the Lord. Give the Lord a handclap! Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord.

The way that the Lord does things, He just kind of does them real fast, and people exclaim and cry out. They’re healed by miracles, and things take place like that. He’s really wonderful. They’re healed by miracles, and things take place like that. He’s really wonderful, does more in five minutes than what men can do in a lifetime, amen. That’s exactly right. And for people that haven’t got spiritual eyes to see what He’s doing, I feel so sorry for them. He’s really working. He’s getting His people together, He sure is. You can see it every which way, not only here, but across the earth and everywhere else that God is working to get His people in because time is short. Now, listen to this sermon this morning.

1. And you know, during a revival, many times they preach about different things and so forth like that, and much time is taken up for this and that. And you’ve got to have this put in by the Holy Spirit. Now, praying, it just kind of started coming to me. And the scripture has been coming to me, I don’t know, two or three weeks, I’ve kept crossing the scripture there. And I’m going to kind of put it together here this morning. Now, listen to it real close because there’s no more greater truth than this, and it’s come from the Lord. It will really do you a great amount of good, more good than anything else that will be preached to you. And it’s the very foundation of any revival. It’s the very foundation of your salvation and without it, there could not be anything that comes from the Lord.
2. Now, The excellent way. You know, in preparing for your healing, many people leave this out, and sometimes they don’t get healed. There are many reasons why people don’t get healed besides just faith or besides no faith or doubt. And this is one of them, too, sometimes. And you know, many overlook this when they are coming for their healing or when they’re alone in their prayer closet or they’re alone seeking the Lord for something that they want Him to do. They just completely forget it. The excellent way. And let’s read it right here, Let’s add the scriptures here: 1 John 4. 7 & 8, He that loveth not knoweth not God. How in the world can you get healed then? If you do not have divine love, then you do not know God. You got to have some of it, see? And it says so right in the Scripture. He that loveth not, knoweth not God, for God is love and without it, you don’t have God.
3. Listen to this compassion here, and we will come back to these scriptures every once in a while. The excellent way. Abraham one time was caught in a subterfuge. Everything began to happen and he was a prophet and he was in Egypt and things began to occur down there. And then the Lord moved on him. And there was a king down there that had so many wives and so forth like that and they couldn’t have any children, and the prophet’s great compassion moved upon him. By the power of the Lord and divine love, he healed them. And they all were cured by the power of God. One of the first miracles in the Bible. But the greatest compassion that Abraham had, looking at a city that he knew that had no use for him and they had made all kinds of criticisms about his religion and yet he saved them one time from the …kings. Lot was at the gate down there and his family was in the city. And he was consumed with such great compassion when the Lord said it would be destroyed, that Abraham rose up in the divine love in his heart and he said, “Oh Lord, if they be but so many.” And he kept on with that great divine love in him, not seeing those souls taken away, even though they were beyond helping many of them, he kept on praying. Finally, Abraham with great divine love pulled out three. The power of that prophet transcended from heaven to earth walking in dimensions with God, seeing things from God, He could only pull three. With all of that power and divine love, Enoch to Noah could pull only eight. We are coming to the end of the age. God just kind of takes it out of the hands of the prophet, so many will come, so many will come. But yet with his great divine love for Lot that disagreed with him about the Word and disagreed with him about his great standing faith in the Lord. After a little argument of some kind, He [Abraham] said, “Just go any which way you just choose and I will go the other way.” See the great divine love in Abraham. And with that divine love, he reached the heart of God and pulled three of them out of there, they got saved and brought them out of there by Abraham. That is divine love from the Lord.
4. He that does not have love does not have God. If you don’t have any divine love you won’t have any compassion for souls. My lands, you might keep them out of the kingdom of God. Of course, you might say the wrong thing, and it might be the wrong thing. Divine love is what you need, amen. And so I said, God is love. And he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God and God dwells in him, but he that has not love knows not God because God is divine love. Now there’s your great foundation to any revival, your great foundation in coming for healing now. Oh yeah, the greater your miracles, the greater the power of the Lord. The excellent way. Oh my, it is powerful, mixed with faith. It is something to behold. Oh there are so many more in here and God’s great divine love over Adam and Eve and so forth like that. And the great prophet, his sister turned upon him and argued and got in trouble with his wife. She was in rebellion, she was in utter rebellion against that prophet. And yet because of the divine love in his heart for that little old girl he turned around and prayed for her and took the leprosy off. See it [divine love] stood up against argument, against fussing. It stood up against everything. That prophet, he stood right there and he was able to save that girl, bring her out of there by a great miracle, a rebellious one.
5. Elijah, the prophet, came to the woman, took a little bit of oil and meal. All of a sudden, she never ran out of oil and meals and then tragedy struck. Sometimes people can give more things to God. Do you realize that? And take more in account of the miracle. She did no doubt and just kept going on and her child died. But the Lord is fixing to really show her what kind of a prophet was at her place there and how great the Lord God was. He found a woman that would believe and that’s why the prophet went there where belief was at. Because all over the country at that time there’s very little belief at all. And her child fell dead. But the compassion, it hurt him so bad to stay there and see somebody stricken with death and him with the light of God upon him and a power on him and the Angel of the Lord with him. The Bible said that the prophet with his great compassion and his great divine love brought life again. What took life from that little child he loved so much? And he said, “Surely because I’m here the devil would do such a thing to me and to this family. And his great compassion reached out, no matter how much the king hated him and other people were against him, no matter how much everybody was against him, trying to kill him at that time, here is that great divine love. You see how wrong they were by seeking out Elijah. He was the only right one that really was true with God. In fact, he said, “I’m the only one, just go ahead and take me.” He thought he was. “I got seven thousand more.” And because of divine love and his great compassion, the prophet, saith the Lord, brought life again.
6. Now divine love in Jesus with His great faith is what brought great salvation to this earth. His faith is automatic and supernatural. He was so strange and supernatural with faith that they could hardly stay around Him. But it was His divine love, His great fortitude, divine love for the masses that He went to the cross and by His divine love I am standing here this morning, you are sitting there. You have salvation. It was love. He that does not have love, does not have God for God is love. That’s a prophet, John wrote it. Can’t be no other way saith the Lord. You can’t change what I’ve written, it’s there. Men have tried to twist it, Peter said, and wrest everything that Paul would write, and so forth to their own destruction. You can’t do it. Once God lays that iron down there and it fires off in there, that’s it. You better leave it where it is there. We find out how great it is here and how great that God is by divine love and great compassion. You go on and on and see the miracles in the Bible as God moves there. In Ephesians, 4:32, listen to it right here. Why, today, in some of the churches today, and some places today, they thought Apostle Paul was out of space writing this. Listen to it right here and I will read it to you right here, it says here, “And be ye kind one to another.” How often do you see that? Tenderhearted, Paul said, forgiving. “Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you” See, be kind, tenderhearted. Somebody might say out there, “On with the revival.” This is revival saith the Lord.
7. You will never have that pure revival and that great revival that God is talking about until divine wisdom gets in divine love and gets a hold of these gifts in power. Brother, you’re on then. Can’t come, saith the Lord, it cannot come no other way. And Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace and of course faith and so forth like that. Listen this right here: Did you know love doesn’t argue? Love doesn’t fuss. Love doesn’t slander. Love doesn’t hate. Love heals division. Now in many places now just the opposite of just what was preached right there. You would think that what they were doing was divine love to them, but it is not. But this is divine love, and it’s long-suffering, not easily puffed up, and it will stand and judge likewise. It is the ingredient in faith that does so much and is so powerful. It is the very way that the elect are going to come together, and they are going to be translated. How many of you believe that? He that loveth not knoweth not God, for God is love.
8. Divine love, now that’s the ingredient. If you were making a cake or putting something together, you put the gifts of healing and you put the gift of miracles and you would come in there and put all the other fruits of the Spirit. You would put this in there and you’d put that in there. In making this banquet to God, you would have to have the ingredients of divine love, or it would not be complete. This is exactly right. Seeing how those prophets moved in such a way that they moved and it will heal all manners of type diseases and so forth like that. And we find out in the Bible here in Luke 7:21, and it said, “In the same hour He cured many of their infirmities and their plagues. It didn’t matter what was wrong and their evil spirits and to many that were blind, He gave them sight. Jesus was moved, the Bible says with great compassion upon the multitudes. He even created for them and gave them something to eat. Such great compassion! The Pharisees and the people’s criticism, yet with great compassion He would reach that hand right out there and He would heal all that would just believe a little bit. What great miracles! God’s great divine love had hit this planet in the form of the Lord Jesus. My, how great He is! How great and powerful that He is, and He moved with great compassion and so forth like that! Mark 6: 56, “And whithersoever He entered into the villages or the cities or the country [it didn’t make any difference where He went; if they had faith] they laid the sick in the streets and they besought Him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment and as many has touched him were made whole.” The excellent way, be ye tenderhearted, love one another. How many of you believe that this morning?
9. Divine love, it does not fight, it does not argue. It does not slander. It heals divisions. It puts it back together again. For this be the Word of God and not that of a man. Oh, how gracious, the excellent way! Sometimes you wonder why you can’t get your prayers answered, “It seems like I’m living the life. I feel the anointing, I go to church and I feel it” But you know sometimes the ingredient of divine love is pushed aside. You may have some grudges. You may have something against somebody. Let me tell you what was wrong, at the end of the age, in James 5, it showed many things. One of them says, you better not have any grudges at this time behold He standeth at the door. That was the problem in many and all of the lukewarm Laodicean churches that were spewed out. I mean millions upon millions upon millions, they had grudges and He said at that time behold the real Judge stands at the door. Have patience therefore brethren for the coming of the Lord for He waiteth for the former and the latter rain together and knew it was coming down about that time.
10. So in your prayers, you want God to do something for you, just see how much of that divine love you have and compassion that you have one for another, what kind of a forgiving spirit. He said forgiving and tender-hearted, what kind do you have? See and look in your heart and search it out and see how many more prayers you get answered. If you could live in this message each minute, in each hour, many of your prayers would be answered. But see, a message is sent forth and I preach something not like this, but similar to this and they have it one day and they forget it the next day, you see. But if you could only live in what was preached this morning about the prophets and how that the Lord shows the excellent way! It is oh, it is an excellent way. There is no more excellent way with your faith. There is no more excellent way with the gifts of the spirit. How many of you believe that? They [the gifts of the Spirit] must be together with the fruit of the spirit; no more excellent way than that there. He that does not love does not have God. Divine love, for God is love and He dwelleth in him that hath it and God in him and the Lord in him, amen. How many of you believe that this morning? So, if you don’t have a touch of that divine love, it says you don’t have God. Now some people have more of it than others and some let it grow until it’s all power. We know in the Old Testament that Isaac had a great amount of that, and he solved many problems and troubles because he didn’t enter into arguments, fusses or anything like that. It just seemed that he had that with him at that time. A more excellent way, the excellent way: with your faith add the ingredients of divine love, tender-hearted one to another. Keep out of the fights and arguments and fusses today, it’s all over the world.
11. Keep awake, don’t hold any grudges at this time, the bible said, because He is standing at the door. What an hour! If I don’t warn you, if I do not warn you then who’s going to warn you? Amen. There’s no revival that would be preached right unless that ingredient was put into the revival or somewhere in there, that makes it complete. And we have seen miracles of God, surely, we see miracles, we’ve seen more miracles of God. If only more people had a tender heart and more people had a forgiving heart and more people allowed divine love to spread in their heart and to work in their heart, then the gifts would work and be more valuable. There would be a meaning behind what they did and there would be a value behind the words that they spoke. I’ll tell you that the ingredient is what was in the Lord Jesus, it’s what brought, the divine love and it’s what brought salvation to this world, God’s love for His people. Now it’s really time to be alert and to be awakened with the Lord Jesus.
12. I want you to stand to your feet, all of you stand to your feet this morning. Now a brief message like that is the most potent power and I want to put it out on cassette. I believe God will heal people, touch people’s pain and all kinds of manners of oppression and sickness must go. Satan must leave; he must go from the bodies. Miracles are wrought if they practice this. The Lord is definitely with them, and this is a safeguard. When you have this in your heart, I’ll tell you, you feel more like your salvation is real than ever before. How many of you really believe that? We’ve got a little time here tonight and what I am going to do tonight is to pray for a few because it will start off the revival. If a few of you that’s been suffering and sick, my, that flu has hit everywhere all over the nation or if you’ve got cancers or tumors or back, headaches or problems ulcers or whatever you’ve got, come over here. I will take a few of you right here tonight and we will believe the Lord. That part of the service is closed. We are moving into another dimension of healing, and we are going to believe the Lord, amen. How many of you want to come? Come real quickly, and he will close the line off when you get a few in there what they told you. If some of you used to get up here all the time, get in the back and let some new ones or somebody get in there, so they can get something, amen.
13. All right, how many more of you want to get in there? The meeting is wide open. If you want to come, come on up here, amen. Glory, Hallelujah! All right, when you get that number, I talked about, you can close the line off. You can keep coming until I think about 12 or 14. We’ve got time for that and believe the Lord. I want you all to be seated out there and if you’re new from out of town, I’m going to try to get to you before the meeting closes. Each night we will go deeper with God and more powerful with the Lord and we will believe the Lord. Okay, you want to come up here. Amen.

14. I want the audience to stand to your feet. I want you to stand up tonight. You will have a great day tomorrow, be here. The Lord has been moving every night. We’ve had miracles and you can’t help but to be blessed. Also, you are seeing and witnessing as the age closes out what God has planned for His people. This truly is the time to be in the house of the Lord. Oh my, this truly is the time and if you’re a little bit sluggard, you better get your motor really revved up, amen. Now it’s really time to be alert and to be awakened with the Lord Jesus. I am going to pray a mass prayer, and I will be going, because I have been doing my national work too and this work over here. But I will pray a mass prayer here tonight. You begin to rejoice with all of your heart. I want you to get in and thank the Lord for this great revival of deliverance. I feel Him. I feel Him. Thank you, Jesus! Thank you, Jesus!
