The Keys to Supernatural Power and Wisdom Neal Frisby’s Sermon CD #2028 4/13/80 (AM)
Feel real good this morning? How many of you love Jesus? Oh, that’s wonderful, isn’t it? You know, I always wake up, I feel good, you know, and I’m praying and everything, and then you can feel the people’s problems all over the country, and you begin to feel them in the city here sometimes. And the people are in trouble. How many of you know that? You can just sense it. It’s so wonderful to be in the house of God. I don’t know why people don’t really know that. Because if you are anointed, and reach out to the Lord like I have, and begin to feel what is happening in the city sometimes, they really need help. And I prayed about it, and the Lord said I was right in front of them. He said they just turned it down, and they had more
troubles, and many troubles than they got today. So, we see that it is by the calling of God, isn’t it? Amen. This old nature is unruly and rebellious and will not do what God says until God brings it down Himself. I am going to pray for everyone here too, that has any problems, if you’ve got anything, any debts, or sickness, sorrows in the family, or whatever it is. I believe that the Lord will move, and I believe He will bless your heart too. Because He didn’t send me for nothing, He sent me for something, and that’s for His people. Amen. Glory to God!
All right, Lord, you know they came here this morning to be helped, and to help others. And I pray that the power of faith will generate [in] all in this audience, and deliver them, helping them, and all the desires that they have in their heart. Touch all the new ones here today and bless them too. Oh, Hallelujah! Just praise the Lord! Give the Lord a good praise offering, praise God! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. That’s really great!
1.Now turn with me this morning. I’m going to start something here. The Keys of Supernatural Power and Wisdom, and there are keys to wisdom, and there are keys to power. How many of you believe that? Amen. All right. Now you see, this message, I was working on this one, and I was working on that, and it turned out to be a triple message. And so, I’m going to bring one message, and kind of go over into another message, and then a short one, and go on out. Sometimes that happens like that, you know. It kind of triples up on me, that if I, and I just kind of have to do it that way, or it will be a long time, but we’ll get through it here. And so many Christians today, they are bound. How many of you know that? And by one thing or another, sometimes it’s just little things, sometimes it is greater things. It’s easy, and the age we live in, the nervous conditions, the troubles, the problems, the pressures that come because of high inflation, and the way that things are happening, so much pleasure today, and so many habits, that people get bound up. The Bible gives us an answer to these things. And they ought not be this way, but to be loosed. I can see in a Christian’s life, that they’re pressured, and satan will push against them, and tighten against them, but they must break that. They do not want to live in that condition. How many of you know that? And I see the great systems that once had the power of God, some of them, and the organizations that have once had the power of God, and that very condition has settled in there, and they have accepted that form. You must never set [accept] the binding spirit in there, but inside your heart, you should be loosed. I know a lot of people that shout, and they praise God, and they dance, and they praise God, but still inside they know, there isn’t freedom, that can still be bondage, even in those kinds of cases. There can be bondage in those that are just sitting still. It can be there, and what you want is the seed of faith activated, and the power of the anointing in there, and then it will work, whether you’re jumping, or it will work whether you’re sitting. How many of you know that? Because, I’ve had people write to me even saying, “You know, I get blessed in different ways, but still, she said, I got to get freedom. I’m bound to certain things I cannot get the victory over, and I want to get the victory over it.” And so, that they’re trying, and by their faith, they are activating.
2.The main thing is to be determined and continue, and God will break it. Is that right? Abraham struggled with something, I don’t know how many years, about that child, and he just kept on the struggle. It was a hundred years, they’re old. Boy, that baby was born, but brother, he stayed with it, no matter what Sarah thought, he still thought and knew that was the promise. Can you say amen? All right and look at the problem of the other child [Ishmael] today. I want to get into that. Praise the Lord! Whoo, that’s the other one that’s free! There was a free child, a bond child, and see how that fits. God got me into that. How many of you know it said free child, the their child, and the bond child? How many of you know that? Sure. So, we are the free. How many of you know it? We are liberated. We don’t come under the bond child, but Christians accept that bond child spirit, and if you accept that bond child spirit, see, it will just sap the victory, it will pull the faith right out of you, and it will start negative feelings. You will go to imagining this, and imagining that, and you are in bondage to the devil. We want to loosen that this morning here, and we’ll do that. You know, sinners are in another kind of bondage, and people that need deliverance, maybe from sicknesses, they’re in another kind, but many Christians today get bound up, and so this is a triple type of way of doing it. We will go right into it here and see what we can do with it right here. You know, in the Bible, it says that Jesus said to Lazarus, this type of the dead church, I guess, that He would come back to in these great revivals, where they had just kind of gone off and and got away from God in bondage. And He said, Jesus said this, he [Lazarus] was all wrapped up in bondage there, and Jesus said, loose him, and let him go. He is alive, Amen. And to His church today, any of them in bondage today, He says the same thing, “Loose that man and woman, and let them go.” They are alive, Amen, in the power of the Spirit. Jesus said in one place or in the book of Revelation, He said some of them are dead while they still walk around, amen, but we want the life of the Holy Spirit to move in here. Now, the church will come alive too. It has the power to loose. It has the power to bind. It has power over demonism, sickness, and so forth, and you have this power of freedom to believe, and you have this activating power within you. It is a seed, and if you learn how to activate that, brother, it’s like a ray of light, and it will go out, it will drive back the demon powers, and it will take things out of bondage, and it will set you free.
3.On there, here’s a scripture, and we will start here. The keys of the kingdom are given, and I will give unto thee the keys. Now, watch this closely. That means to each person here, some use them a little more than others. Some can find more doors than others, and some can find larger doors, we might say, and some can find greater blessings, and some can do more things for God, but it is given to all of them at the same time. The keys, I give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. He didn’t say, “I give you the keys to the kingdom of earth.” How many of you know that? I give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Now, that’s what He said, and whatsoever thou shalt bind on the earth, it shall be bound in heaven, and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth, it will be loosed in heaven. That’s where your answer comes from, and so where is heaven? Well, the part of heaven we know as in heaven, but the answer comes back because the kingdom of God is within you. How many of you know that? And it answers back that quick. See, God doesn’t have to go back and forth. He is here and there, and everywhere at the same time. He doesn’t have to come and go. He is already there, and He is here. That’s how come we call Him the Almighty God. Amen? He’s omniscient. He’s omnipresent. He’s everywhere. He is omnipotent power in there, and over here in another scripture, in Matthew 18:19, “Again I say unto you that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven” or the Holy Spirit which is within us, which Jesus sent back in His name, the Spirit of truth. For where two or three are gathered, [that is all it takes], together in my name, there I am in the midst. Now, you get two or three together, and the very fact that you’re looking at one another, just three of you, two or three, he’s there in your midst. How many of you know that? I am there in your midst of them (v.20). There it is, it’s preordained. It has already been set by God. He is not a liar. The Bible says He cannot, and He will not, and He will not alter the truth that’s gone out of His mouth. He will not alter the promises, but He will honor those promises. They are eternal, and they will meet you before Him there. And so if He says, if any two of you, three of you are together, together in His name, the Bible says that He is there. Can you say praise the Lord? And if you are in one place, it says you gather in His name as touching one thing, you shall ask, and you gather together, there He says, I am in your midst. He is there. It shall be done. How many of you believe that? There are two or three scriptures to this. Some of them give a little bit more than others there. And where two or three are gathered together, here it is on the second promise here, gather together in my name. Now, if you gather together, and you’re looking for three or four gods or five, and you got a pagan gathering there, He didn’t promise it that way. But he said, if you gather in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Now, you are coming along with me today, there is His Name. How many of you know that? Lord Jesus. If you gather together in my Name, He said, “There I am.” It is strange that He is standing right here in this audience, isn’t He? He is right here. There’s no way out of it. He is looking right at us, His eyes of the Holy Spirit. And the stronger our faith is, the more that He will release Himself, and the more that you can set free, and whatever you bind is bound, that’s against you, and whatever you loose will be loosed. You can loose your finances, or you can bind satan up from bothering you. How many of you are still with me now? Loose, bind, that’s power, that is, between loosening and binding, that is all power. Amen. When you can loose everything or bind everything, that is power. That power comes from heaven. Only Jesus has that kind of power, and yet He gives that power to us, to loose and to bind.
4.But you have to have a lot of wisdom, too, to do this. And so, we will get on to that in a moment, because that’s another part of the Scriptures there. And so, He is here, right there. Now, if you are going to gather together in foolishness, you know, and not in His name, it won’t work. But any two or three Christians get together, or hundreds or thousands, as far as that goes, and you get together in His Name, the Lord Jesus, He is right there already. He’s waiting. His Word is true, He’ will be there. Don’t worry about it, He is there. Isn’t that wonderful to know that? That is great. So, He is here with us this morning. “Then came Peter to Him and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin? Now, the Lord had this coming right behind those other Scriptures. One time, the Lord told me that He prayed and He spoke and He spoke in such ways that some of them are in sevens, the saying. Some are in groups. And if you notice in the Bible, it’s the parables. And the way that He did everything that He did, He timed it. And everything was behind something or before something. And everything that He spoke, Matthew 24 and Luke 21, was purposely put in those chapters where they belong, right there. And everything that He does, He times and when He does, it is to bring out something. And people will see the part that’s all power, but then they don’t read any further, see; to see what the Lord wants them to do there. And then it said, then came Peter to him and said, “Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him?” That was his problem. See, he could not, if they do something to him, they better not forget it, because he wouldn’t forget them. He didn’t like that, see. Now it says, forgive him. See, now he was going to make up his own, which would be what he would have thought. He was going to make up his own thing here, “till seven times?” And I said, boy, I’m really, I can’t do it once, but I will say seven times if he’s against me, see. And that fishing business they were in, they evidently had contention out there. And so, the thing was this, that he said, seven times, Lord, with a question mark. And Jesus said unto him, “I say not unto thee until seven times, but until seventy times seven” (Matthew 18: 22). Isn’t that something? Oh, he said, “My, I’ll shut up altogether. I will say nothing,” see. Then he had to follow that out there. Now, if you can forgive your brother, and it’s hard sometimes, or you can forgive your sister sometimes, and then He will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. How many of you are still with me now? Praise the Lord. All right, if you gather together, He is with you in great power. So, in two different places, you have to read the scripture. One, I read Matthew 16:19, it has part of the secret there. And the same thing only adds a little bit more, is in the scriptures, Matthew 18: 18 – 22 there And so seventy times seven. So you want to [forgive], don’t let it ever get deep-seated in you. You have to just forgive and go on, forget, and put it in the hands of the Lord, and the power, and the kingdoms, and the keys, and all of that together. And so, it’s using wisdom in those things there. Then the Bible said this, listen to me real close here, I will say another thing: I don’t want to have anything against anybody when a translation is going to take place, Amen?
5.But you know, the real seed, the true seed that’s determined in their heart, and the ones that love God, before that takes place upon the earth, He is having such a purging revival, and such a burning revival, and such a thing happening that, that He is going to do something, and you’re going to see it coming. It’s going to be like almost going into heaven. You’re going to see it coming. You can feel it. You feel a translation coming upon you, before it comes upon you. And your hearts are going to be right, because He knows what He is doing. If He’s chosen you, He is going to get you there. But if you deliberately see, go back out in the world, and do all these things, then the seed, you will have to come up in the translation, or tribulation, or somewhere over there. But if your heart is determined to stay with the anointing, and to listen to this Word of God, there’s a way out, God says. And David found it in the Bible, it will be a way for you, and all of those that love His Word, they will love His appearing and all those that love His Word will be with Him. Can you say praise the Lord? Some people in these systems say they love God’s Word, but they leave out part of it, or they don’t back up the other part, or they won’t preach this part and they will ignore that part. And see, that’s not loving God’s Word. One place, it said, those that teach the least in the kingdom of God, he said, they shall be the least in the kingdom of God (Matthew 5: 19), it didn’t say they were going to hell, though, but they would have no high place in the kingdom of God. Others, the way they did it, they would not have a place. But those that preached all the Word of God, He said, would be called the greatest in the kingdom of God. Now, that’s it right there, Amen. So, we see some of the salvationists today, and they preach, and they preach good doctrine. I’ve heard some of them preach real good on salvation, and real good about different things. But when it comes to the baptism, or it comes to the power to heal, or it comes to the power of revelation and prophecy, and the power that the Bible gives, they fall short. Those are the least of the kingdom of God. Now why? We do not know, but that’s what God said there. And so we see that. But to those, He said, that preach the Word of God, in my Name they shall cast out devils, in my Name they shall deliver and preach the book of Revelation, the book of Daniel, and those that listen to that, He said, those people will be called the greatest in the kingdom of God. How many of you know that? These are they that preach all of the Word of God, Amen. That is right, all of the Word of God. And so, we see that right here. And then, the power to cast out devils is evidence of the kingdom of God. But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is coming to you (Matthew 12:28). Isn’t that wonderful? And you see it happening all of the time. Now, on the platform, I’ll let you in on the spirit world, that they, people that satan gets sometimes, before they even come to the service, they won’t come. Some of this advertising I do, he won’t even let them get out of the house. I see once in a while I get letters and so forth, and people that try to come to a meeting, the final word when it comes, they cannot. See; they know something is wrong; something is preventing them. They know it’s not God, because they’ve had problems with some kind of something that’s wrong with them. But many times, those that come in that prayer line, they have a struggle sometimes, and I can feel it coming. But I’ve seen them break, and when it does, it’s just like shackles taking off.
6.I can feel the Spirit break in there, and that power, that Spirit that had them bound, it is incredible to stand here and watch God take that fire and cut that like that. It is incredible. And we used to travel; I could just see the fire of God and the power of God doing those things. It would be just like a flash. They would be free. They were set free by the power of God. Others that still were inside would hold something back. I couldn’t get them loose. There was plenty of power. Then they would have to go on through until they made up their mind to really turn it all loose and get a hold of God. Can you say praise the Lord? And I’ve seen the evidence of the kingdom of God, I’ve seen it before my own eyes in the crusades, and also in this building, when we had many times right over in that room over there, too, where we had those private [meetings], or where they were lined up in there, we’ve seen many people get some of those individual things that were set free (Matthew 12:28). Now the present phase of the kingdom of God is not outward. Listen to this: “The kingdom of God cometh not by observation.” See, it doesn’t come by observing like that. Neither shall they say, lo, here, or lo, there’s the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is everywhere within the people that believe it (Luke 17: 20 – 21). Don’t you believe that? They say, lo, it’s over here, lo, it’s over there. It is over in this system or over in this. He said, no, for behold, the kingdom of God is within you and there is where it is placed, right here. If any two of you gather together in my name, there I am. See, if you’re there, He is there. Oh, isn’t that wonderful? Because the breath of life is in you. If you’re dead, you ain’t gonna be there and He ain’t gonna be there. When you say, praise the Lord, that is exactly right. So, we see Him moving right there. So, the kingdom of God is within you. So, we see that the power to cast devils out is evidence of the kingdom of God. Now, the kingdom was taken from the Jews who rejected it. Therefore, I say unto you, the kingdom of God shall be taken from you and given to a nation bringing forth fruits thereof (Matthew 21: 43). And the very headstone that they rejected would be given to a nation, bearing fruits. We know it’s the Gentiles. We know that, and particularly the United States has providence to put the gospel to all of the world and bring out the fruits of the kingdom of God. And when the signs are fulfilled, the visible kingdom draws nigh. Then the visible kingdom will begin to come outwardly. They can see it. So likewise, and you notice we took photographs, see the visible kingdom rising at the end? How many of you know that? But first, they couldn’t observe it, could hardly see it and now it’s coming and more pronounced. It is like a little small cloud, like Elijah saw a little hand come up. And he prayed seven times. We’ve had seven great revivals. And he prayed again and it got bigger and it got bigger, that cloud, pretty soon you could observe the kingdom of God coming to Israel. And that came, and boy, the sound of rain, which is revival. He ran, you know, it was swift, short work. He ran in there to Israel [Jezreel] (1 Kings 18: 54-46). And it had a great downpouring revival. He overthrew the Baal prophets. All of that took place by the power of God at that time, great revival and they observed it. Now it’s coming at this time. And so we see when signs are fulfilled, the visible kingdom of God draws nigh. So likewise, ye, when ye shall see all these things come to pass, that’s in Luke 21:31 and Matthew 24:33, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. One of those signs is the armies in Jerusalem and the problem, problems and troubles there. That would be a prophecy if I got into that. But there is one of the signs that the kingdom of God is getting closer.
7.The other is His appearance in photographs and His appearance to His people. He is coming in such a way. Wednesday, you know, Wednesday or Thursday, you’ll receive a letter. I want you to read it. It will be something that you will enjoy reading. So read it and don’t forget it. It shows us how God will visit His people in a great way and many strange ways. How many of you know that He is the God of gods? Amen. When the visible kingdom comes, Christ will eat again with the disciples. I might say about the letter, it’s not all on this subject. No, it’s got to do with some strange mysteries and so forth. And so don’t forget it. Look at it there. And so, this is when the visible kingdom comes, a lot of people don’t know this. I believe I was asked a question about this and I answered in similarity. When the visible kingdom of God comes, Christ will eat again with the disciples. Some say that when He was glorified, that did it. His spirit didn’t need any food. But we know after He was glorified, He appeared in a room and He ate honeycomb, I believe it was. And next time He had eaten fish over there and bread and so forth. How many of you know that? He said, and the body I have, should ye have also. He said this same thing. We should be likened to Him. So, in certain circumstances, after we are converted, after we’re glorified, we’re converted now, but after we’re glorified and we are changed in there, if it calls for it for a certain reason, then we will be able to eat. Does anybody know the future work of the kingdom of God in different places? It may be that God would have somebody appear watching another group in another world. You may have to eat before you leave there. We don’t know. You entertain angels unawares. We will be likened to the angels of heaven. It’s never been clear what all of our work will be done, but we’re not going to sit around because we’re going to work like angels. We’re going to be like the angels. Can you say, praise the Lord? And right now, when we are fulfilling fruition on this particular planet, this particular earth, then we are prepared to help Him somewhere else even the scientists say there are hundreds of billions of galaxies just like this one, and there is no end. Amen. No, they are not all populated out there. No, but we know one thing, that God is a variety. And it says in the Bible, He created worlds to be inhabited. And I believe that, all He has, we do not know, we just only attempt. But we do know this, He is going to have a people that have something to do, and they will follow Him wherever He goeth, and He will direct. Remember, we will be living in eternity, and eternity, and eternity, and eternity. Amen. He just kept saying that. He wants to get that over to you. And you know, that’s a long time to sit around, and you won’t be. But you will be happy, and never tired. Oh, no. Always happy. Never sad. Never cry. You will always be happy. And it will be such bliss that no kind of drug, or form, or any kind of narcotic on this earth, or any kind of pleasure on this earth that you’ve ever seen, felt, or heard of, would ever compare with the bliss that somehow comes in to this body that we have today. It is a feeling beyond anything that we have ever felt in the history of anything. That is something and that will be for eternity. That is wonderful. No time. See, don’t put no time on it, just leave it alone.
8.Listen to this right here. For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God. See, I will not eat anymore until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God. Take this and divide it among yourselves. “For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God shall come.” It shows right there, Luke 22: 16-18, it shows you right there again, He says, when the kingdom of God comes, He will sit down and eat with His disciples, and He will eat, and we shall be like Him and have a glorified body. And people ask me the question, will we be able to eat again? If it calls for a purpose, He will allow it. There may be even some type of heavenly food that has never been allowed on this earth and it’s something that He does for us. We know that in heaven it says that there is fruit that they eat that is for the healing of the nations. How many of you know that? You see, so we don’t know all about it but if the case calls for it. What He is really doing is opening the door for us to speculate slightly that perhaps He is going to use us to work at a needful hour. You remember He appeared to Abraham and He did eat. How many of you know that? And Paul said, “You “entertain angels unawares? Jesus was the Angel of the Lord, and He would sit down and eat with them. How many of you know that? Even before He died and afterwards too, He is still the Angel of the Lord. Amen? A lot of people can’t see that. He is the very Angel of God in a burning bush there. He said that before Abraham, He said He was, He was there. So, we know all of those things and in the kingdom of God, He comes right back to like He was in here. And yes, you will have the power to eat if it’s needful and necessary, He will do it. However, you won’t need to. But there may be some kind of heavenly thing that God will give to us from time to time that we will have there. But it’s good knowledge to know and wisdom to know about it and then we go from the binding and the loosing and the power and the kingdom of God there that’s around us, within us. And we are coming to where we are peering into view, and we are getting ready to leave. Now we are going into the other part called wisdom and wisdom in the kingdom of God, As I’ve told the people, besides the miracles, it’s going to take wisdom. And let’s see what wisdom has to do here. No matter if the queen of Sheba was bound down in the land she was in and there was no spirit and there was no knowledge and there was no wisdom, she used wisdom to a point and endurance and traveled many, many miles. And we are going to see how she was loosed from her problems and all the things that troubled her. She did not have the answers, but Solomon answered all that was in her heart and told her all the things that he could tell her there.
9.Now listen to this real close: Wisdom. Now you’re going to have to listen now real close here. Now we are going to take a turn and it turns from that message into this message. Now the children of this world are wiser in their generation than the children of light. Now that probably means in business affairs and in the business part of the world. But it does not mean they are wiser than the children of God in faith and in word and that is where it counts. How many of you are still with me? Because many following Him would be discouraged. They say, “Well it looks like that they probably are smarter and have more.” They don’t, they have less if they don’t have God. “It looks like those people are able to know all of those business things and get a job and I can’t get one. And they know all about electronics and they know all about computation. They know all of these things and secretarial and so forth and then here I don’t.” Well, Jesus said here in the Bible that the children of the world are wiser in their generation than the other children, but they are not wise where it counts. And I’m going to get to that at the end of this sermon. They are not wise when it comes to faith and they’re not wise when it comes to eternal life where it counts, and they are not wise to the Word of God where it really counts. So, I would say the children of light are far more in a supernatural way, much better off. Can you say praise the Lord? That is exactly right. So that has troubled people many times where God did say His children were wiser in the spirit but not in the world. And that troubled them. Now see that that may be loosed and help you to get loosed and help you to believe these things. He said not to give not that which is holy unto dogs. That’s a statement here. He said give not that which is holy unto dogs neither cast you your pearls before swine lest they trample them under your feet and turn again to rend you. (Matthew 7: 6). And today people say, “I wonder why they don’t listen to me and I wonder why that one does that and why can’t they believe this?” Jesus just got through saying they would trample it down, rend it, and throw it right back at you and run right over you. So, your problems are cured, if only one person out of a hundred or two hundred or a thousand listened then that’s okay. Can you say praise the Lord? That’s exactly right. That’s what Jesus said. So, when you see that they shove it right back and argue and they don’t want to listen to the Word of God, then He gives you the scripture, don’t give it to them. He said the dogs will just turn right back around and chew on you and trample you down like the swine there. So, if they don’t want to listen to what you have to say then Jesus Himself condemns and says what they are. So, leave it alone, the Bible says. Go your way to somebody else and they will listen to you. Is that right? Because you’ve got pearls. You’ve got wonderful things from the Bible; the church is a pearl of great price. So, these are jewels that you have. Remember satan don’t want them. You try to give them to satan, he doesn’t want them. He already gave them up and God said he can never have them. And so don’t try to give them to him, you will just torment him. Amen? That’s right. So, we’ve got that. And then it says Christ commended the Queen of Sheba’s journey to hear the wisdom of Solomon. She acted, she was determined, and she showed wisdom by asking questions to solve many problems in her country and many things that troubled her. She was in bondage even though she was a queen. But when he got through answering her with his great wisdom that God gave him, then all in her heart was revealed and then she rejoiced to see all of these things. And we will read it right here a little bit on this right here. It says right here, and He commended her for that: “The queen of the south shall rise up in judgment with this generation and shall condemn it. For she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and now One greater than Solomon is here (Matthew 12:42). See she came all of that way to get set free and to hear the things of the Lord, and to hear the wisdom of Solomon. And behold a greater than Solomon is standing here, and that was Jesus. In other words, Jesus was standing there greater than Solomon and that generation He was looking at, they would not even walk right out of the house or even listen to Him except it be to crucify Him. That is what He said, she’ll rise up and condemn them because she came from the utmost parts of the earth to a man that was not as great as the One standing there. Yet the others would not come. So, it will be a condemnation of that time that we have there and in the time of persecution divine wisdom is promised.
10.Did you know not only is divine wisdom promised, but it’s given in your daily affairs? And if you learn how to work it, it will fit in with your thinking and He will give you wisdom in your daily affairs. Isn’t that right? That is wonderful. It is beautiful to watch how God will lead you when you do that and we will see that in your very daily affairs. God knows what He is doing there. Now it’s right here. The wisdom of, oh, I’ll read that to you: “Settle it therefore in your heart not to meditate before what ye shall answer. For I will give you a mouth of wisdom which all your adversaries shall not be able to gain, say or resist” (Luke 21:14 &15). The power of divine wisdom in your job and whatever you do. Now you will not hit it right every time. But that doesn’t mean that you’re to stop. Pray. Everyone that asketh receiveth wisdom. Can you? And sometimes your divine wisdom that God gives you makes you actually do the opposite of what you want to do. And there it is right there standing before you, it doesn’t always agree with, and it generally is just opposite of what you really want to do. Can you say praise the Lord? That’s why some people say I just can’t get wisdom. It’s all over you. It’s everywhere, it is all around you, but it won’t line up with exactly what you say there. The wisdom of obeying Christ’s sayings: Therefore, whosoever hears these things of mine and doeth them I will liken him unto a wise man which built the house upon a rock (Matthew 7:24). How many of you are with me there? Amen. That’s exactly right, it’s just right there. Now the wisdom of being a faithful servant: “Who then is a faithful and wise servant whom his Lord hath made ruler over all of his household to give them meat in due season. Blessed is that servant whom his Lord when he shall cometh shall find him so doing. Verily, I say unto you that he shall make him ruler over all his goods (Matthew 24: 45 & 47). Can you say praise the Lord? Over all things, that is right, all his goods. Wisdom of being a faithful servant. Now how many of you want to be a faithful servant to God? It takes divine wisdom to be a faithful servant to the Lord and He will do it there. And then it says here, we will get some more on that faithful servant because the thing that the bride is, is that she has a faithful quality. That’s one of the qualities of the bride, her determined faith and her quality of faithfulness. That’s faithfulness in there to do what God says and to be there when God says and so forth like that. That’s faithfulness. Now the wisdom of being ready for Christ’s coming: “Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins which took their lamps and went forth to meet the bridegroom and five of them were wise and five were foolish (Matthew 25: 1-2). Now the ones that had their oil had wisdom. Now see where He brings us right back to this sermon here. The ones that had the oil had wisdom. If you let your oil leak out or you don’t get into that oil then you do not have the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. How can you have the wisdom of the Holy Spirit if you don’t have this anointing that’s been in this building delivering the people? Amen. There it is. He brought it right down to that. I didn’t know exactly where all these scriptures were going that He gave me but I do know it now. The wisdom of being ready for Christ’s coming and you have the baptism of that Holy Spirit. You’ve got that wisdom in there and that anointing around you and in you and ever, the anointing of the Lord. You have that Word believing it in your heart, and you will have that divine wisdom helping you. Some will have it to a greater extent than others, but all will have some of that wisdom. Now the faithful servant to be made ruler over cities. How many of you know that He is going to make you rulers over cities. It says here there is another job there it says right in the Bible and Luke 19:17 &26: “He said unto him well thou good servant because thou hast been faithful in very little thou have authority over ten cities” (v.19). “For I say unto you that unto everyone which hath shall be given and from him that hath not even that he hath it shall be taken away from him” (v. 26). Then it says this, the faithful servant to be made ruler over many things and that is Matthew 25:21. Rulers over cities. Rulers over many things with God. So, it pays to have divine wisdom. Can you say praise the Lord? Amen. That is exactly right, and you must have it in there. I am going to turn to the Bible here and finish this up here.
11.In 1 Corinthians 1:14, listen to Paul here, how he had to use divine wisdom. There was contention. There were people that did not believe exactly like him. There were even some of those that followed the Lord that he cut it too sharp for them. He was way in advance ahead of them. Now listen to this right here. And he got over into the baptism part and he was baptizing and there arose an argument there. And so, Paul, here is what he used and he used wisdom as long as he was talking wisdom he went right on out into wisdom that he was using. Amen. And we see that here. Now listen to this real close here: “I thank God that I baptized none of you but Crispus and Gaius here lest any should say that I had baptized in my name” (1 Corinthians 1:14). Here’s what began to happen. Some of those liked Apollos and different ones said, “Did you know they were baptized in the name of Apollos?” Some of them were baptized in somebody else’s name. Some of them said I was baptized in Paul’s name and Paul for that reason tells us what he did in divine wisdom and he knew that that was close to blasphemy. He knew that that would take him into hell rather into heaven. So, Paul just cut it short, and he did it quickly. Listen to this right here because God told him what to do. And then he said this, he told them is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Then how can you baptize in my name? He said was Paul crucified for you or were you baptized in the name of Paul? I thank God, he said that I only baptized a couple [Crispus and Gaius] lest any should say that I had baptized in my own name and I also baptized the household of Stephanus. Besides, I do not know whether I baptized any other (v. 14-16). That was three. And he said because they would say they were baptized in the name of Paul. So, we see what wisdom he uses. Watch this: “For Christ sent me not to baptize but to preach the gospel not with the wisdom of words lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect (v. 17). He is talking about the words of man. He will get around showing just what he means. “For the preaching of the cross to them that perish is foolishness but unto us are saved it is the power of God” (1 Corinthians 1: 18). There it is right there. “For it is written I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and I will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. “Where is the wise Paul says in all of this?” Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this world? Hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world (v. 20)? Can you say praise the Lord? In the beginning of this, he said the children of the world are wiser than the children of the light. And then he comes back and hollers and cries out where is the scribe, see? And he comes back here and here is what he says: Hath not God made the foolish the wisdom of this world? Amen. He said hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? “For after that in the wisdom of God the world by the wisdom of God knew not God” (1Corinthians 1: 21). In other words, He gave the wisdom of God for the world to know God and the very wisdom that He gave them to know they knew not God. Can you say praise the Lord? It didn’t work for them. “It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save those that believe” (v.21). How many of you still believe right now? Amen, alright. Now for unto them which are called both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God (v. 24). Amen. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men and the weakness of God is stronger than men (v.24). For ye see your calling brethren how that not many wise men after the flesh not and many mighty, not many noble, are called. That is exactly right. But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty (vs. 26 & 27). Amen. And He will do it too.
12.Whereas one time the things that I was doing as a very young man and the teens and it was absolutely foolishness. I was just spinning my wheels going nowhere and it was just foolishness there. But he turned right back around that after I got converted then the people thought that was foolish for me to get converted. That’s how dumb seeing the condition that I was in and going down the wrong road was why they couldn’t see the wisdom of changing my heart into the wisdom of God and doing what God said that they would call that a wise decision. But the world said it is foolish to throw away his career and take upon the ministry after I had that kind of a trade. But I found out that God takes the foolish things and confounds the wise in the world. Can you say praise the Lord? And so, when I started what they felt would be a failure no doubt automatically from the first night the ministry was a success in praying for the sick and the power of God was everywhere and gradually as He learned me the ministry and led me Himself and the wisdom of God came to make certain that it was just the opposite of what everybody would think. That He would come and tell me to do these things and to this day here He has kept me out of debt. He has sent literature all over the world. Thousands and hundreds of thousands of people have been saved and healed by the power of God everywhere coast to coast and all over the world and the building and all of this here today and my friends all over the nation and everywhere that will do anything for me. They will do anything that I ask if I ask them. They love the ministry. I call that the power of wisdom from God. Can you say amen? But a bottle of whiskey and chasing around and all the other things that go with it, bless God, that has got to be the wrong thing. Can you say praise the Lord? I know that but anyway to them what I had done looked foolish but to God it was the right thing to do and look how my life is preserved today. I wouldn’t have had any life. If a car wreck hadn’t got me something else would. What I am saying, I am not telling you that I’m all wise because, yet I may not make perfect decisions. Who knows? I don’t know but the thing is this He gave me enough wisdom that I was able to get in condition and come out of this thing and come up to where I’m today and others have been helped and it took wisdom so that others could be helped by the power of God. Amen. There will be a group and a people that will be behind me, and they will go into heaven. Amen. I will get them there and I believe that they are on their way. We are just getting closer and closer to the kingdom of God and we are going right and it’s all around us but I mean when we get out we’re going on up but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. I know this too. There were lawyers in town that knew me and several doctors, and they were totally confused. They were just so confounded that they came out and sat in on my meetings to see what in the world had happened to me and they ran into several of the friends that brought the report back. I knew that they were in the audience because after service some of them told me they came there, and they were totally confounded what in the world had happened. They thought, “You know he just went off or what has happened to him?” Amen? One of them there had been suffering from some kind of sickness and he just took a chance, you know, to be in the audience. He had taken so much narcotics to kill the pains and stuff that he was there, but we had different ones and different ones [who came] to find out, observe, and psychoanalyze. But as soon as I started preaching, there was one guy who said, “How can he talk so long without breathing?” When they saw that little wino [a man] that couldn’t walk but sideways down there that happened to come up there and have faith in me and didn’t even have any bones in part of his leg there and a light flashed down and he jumped up and down through there and went running, I had further confused them. Amen. The blind man who couldn’t see could see, the deaf heard, and the pains and the tumors would go. Now God is real, so, what becomes foolish to them is what God wanted and every time it will be like that.
13.The foolishness of God is wiser than men because some things God does look foolish, and the weakness of God is stronger than men but He really doesn’t have any weakness, for yeah, one thing He loves us. Amen. Can you say praise the Lord? I guess He brought that in because of His weakness with Israel. Oh, He just kept on trying to help them and gave them everything and did everything He could do for them, the Bible said in the Old Testament. Every time they would go out with idols and and they would take what He gave them and turn it into idols, all that would take place and then He didn’t want to, but He would have to judge them, so His weakness was that He loved his people and let them get by with too much stuff out there many times. The weakness of God is stronger than men for ye see your calling brethren how that not many wise men are called after the flesh, not many mighty are called after the flesh, not many noble are called after the flesh but God has chosen the foolish. Amen. So, the foolish things, He has chosen the foolish of the world to confound the wise and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. Isn’t that beautiful there, how all of this comes around? And He is doing it here in 1 Corinthians 3:19 -21, “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their craftiness. And again, the Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise that are vain. Therefore let no man glory in man for all for all things are yours.” Can you say praise the Lord? All things are yours. You do not need to be like the people that we have today who have the wisdom of this world. You don’t really need that. You don’t need all things but all things are yours that belong to God that are activated and the keys to the kingdom. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven and whatsoever thou shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever thou shall loose upon earth shall be loosed in heaven. There is your answer right there Matthew 16: 19. So, the Christian today has a loosening and a binding [power over] of all things and to use divine wisdom and God will bless your heart. Amen. How many of you feel the power of God here this morning? Well, this sermon here is right where it belongs. You must use wisdom. So, if people say you are foolish because you believe like you do, if they cannot see it like you do, remember God has chosen those [foolish] things and you are confounding the wise whether you know it or not and you have divine wisdom and supernatural wisdom which comes from heaven. So, at the end of the age it is said to use wisdom for the coming of Christ, it will take divine wisdom, and it will take miracles of power to prepare the bride for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Wisdom will gather the Lord’s bride and power will set them free and keep them there and the power of the Lord will translate them away. And so, we have the binding and the loosening and the keys of the kingdom of God. You have gifts [of the Spirit] as one of the keys to power. Faith is power there, fasting is one of those keys of power in there and you have prophesying, testifying, praying and praising the Lord. We have those keys to the kingdom of God and what I want to bring out is those keys are available and there are keys of the kingdom of God. You pray and you seek the Lord, and you use the keys of the kingdom of God. Therefore, all of my people saith the Lord; the keys are right there for all my people saith the Lord. I’ve said it twice; the Lord is wonderful so open up your heart and loose them and bind them and set them free and bind up the things that are against you. Loose the things that would bind up and call upon the Lord and He will bless your heart.
14.I want you to bow your heads this morning. Lord, the message came a little supernatural in here but yet every treasure, every nugget was laid just where it is, and I feel some in this audience here were set free by the power of God and their minds and their hearts are building towards a greater anointing. They are building towards a foundation and great power of faith. Everyone is just like knowledge and prophecy coming right through me not in my own mind. Each one of this audience today you’re building towards something that God has in your life and His power. He is getting you ready for that day. It is coming and that is what we are building towards. And I mean He is sewing it just like this and He is putting that together so that satan will not be able to break it if He is going to take you in. Amen. He knows what He is doing. Can you say praise the Lord? That is right! So, you’re building towards it and He is shaping He is forming, and He is making your mind become the thinking of the mind of Christ. Your faith is beginning to grow. Your whole salvation is getting stronger in the Lord and then your understanding of the scriptures and your understanding of the revelations of God and the mysteries of God. You are getting more in tune with the wheels and the power of God and as you do, you will have greater understanding and as that greater understanding comes then you will have more freedom, and you will be out of bondage completely and the Lord can take you by His hand and take you away. Amen. Praise the Lord, that is wonderful! Now today you people in here, if you need salvation or anything that you need, just tell the Lord: “Lord I’m a sinner and I want to believe.” Open up your heart and say Lord forgive me, I am going to read your Word, and I am going to thank you, Lord. If you open up your heart that way, you’ve got Him right there and you come tonight on this platform let me get my hands on there and pray for whatever is wrong with you. I will be praying for the sick tonight, and we will see miracles from God or see what the Lord has for us tonight. And any of you that have sickness in your body or any of you that has had a testing of binding or so forth like that, you purpose in your heart this morning and God will set you free and He will bless you.
15.Now this morning here, I want you to just stand in your seats this morning. We are going to do it that way and you begin to praise God, and I will be here tonight, and everybody here just begins to praise the Lord. I’m going to pray that God sets everything free so you can give your heart to the Lord and come up here on the platform and God will bless your heart. I’m going to pray for you while you’re standing in the audience this morning and the Lord will bless you. So, just lift up your hands and begin to praise Him. Come on, praise God. Oh my God, praise the Lord! Jesus! Come on, He is going to bless your heart. Oh, He is great! Lord, every one of them come on down Lord as you reach right up there, bless their hearts across this auditorium Lord Jesus lifting them up and saving their souls. Hallelujah, I feel you Jesus. I bless you, Lord God! It’s really great. Oh boy, I feel it in my heart right now.
