– The Youth Neal Frisby Video sermon #1062 2/13/83 AM
1.You know the Bible says except the Lord builds a house, they labor in vain that buildeth. Did you know that? Now that has a dual purpose, that has to do with the family, that has to do with the church, that has to do with many things in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, but it has to do with the homes too, (Psalm 127:1). This little note here, the Christian family, a stronghold. And today’s sinking society, you may not know it but because you believe and because you believe in the living God. The Lord Jesus and the power of faith that is within you; you’re holding back the judgement that one day should come, so that the Lord can save others. You are very important in this society because without your faith, it would be overthrown overnight, that’s absolutely the truth (fact), so we find a stronghold. As Christians, we live in a hostile environment, satanic forces threaten the destruction of the homes.
Those on television listen to this real close. You may be faced with some of this later on and let the Lord lead you and guide you, and how to handle the family problems. My own children right now are getting out of age and I am going to have to change some things and handle it from a different view point, they are growing up. If we don’t lead our children, and if we don’t guide our children, then somebody at school is going to lead them, and somebody there is going to guide them with the wrong ideas. And no matter how much you try, no matter what you say and sometimes how you pray, there are still some of those ideas that are going to filter through. I get letters from all over this nation praying for their children, spectacular miracles have taken place. Some of them have left homes, some of them have gone into prostitution, some of them into thieving, some of them have just gone into all kinds of crimes. And yet by the power of prayer, the Lord has brought many of those back and now they are in Christian homes because of a prayer cloth, or because their father and mother held on to the Lord until they came home, the prodigal son shall return saith the Lord. How many of you believe in that scripture? Amen.
Sometimes they must learn, there’s nothing you can do about it. They all sometimes learn lessons that you couldn’t teach them no matter how much time you spank them, or whatever you did, they will learn a lesson, it has to be in the hands of the Lord. And sometimes you may do all that you can do, and one may still… you may lose him out into the world for a while but then you know what? You put him into the hands of the Lord, that’s the way I pray about the ones that write to me. And then it is up to the Lord, and in his hands, he will bring him back into the fold at the appointed time; for he is the Almighty. Can you say amen? and the Lord will bring him and sometimes it seems that I’ve had people write to me that nearly the whole household, the children will be out into the world, one by one, the Lord will begin to bring them back. It is in his hands, it is in the divine providence, so we see, Satan is trying to undermine the home, and trying to destroy it; he is laying traps that you know nothing about until the snare is pulled and it is too late. So we can hold our families together and instill within our young people, the vitality of faith, that will hold them steady in the soul, reaching cross currents that are coming.
2. You know my vision, in the prophecy that the Lord gave me, 20 years ago. I saw this cross current even more reality, and wrote it in the scroll that would take place, many people didn’t even believe it. But we’re at the cross road now, and the cross currents are pulling the young in but the Lord is going to bring vitality, a revival and more anointing. The power of the Holy Spirit will move and God will bless his people. Some will never make it in but others, He’s going to bring in a great revival. So we find out here then too. Listen to this right here. You know the Bible says and, I believe it’s in Proverbs chapter 3:11-12; my son despise not the chastisement of the Lord, neither be weary of his correction for whom the Lord loveth, he correcteth even the father, the son in whom he delighteth he correcteth him; do you believe that? We got that, alright. Let me read this and we will continue. Teach your children the things of God and these words which I command thee this day, this is in the Old Testament. Imagine traveling, the way they lived in that time and all of them close together, the children of Israel. Let’s see what the Lord had to say, he had some words to bring out to them because they were going to need it at that time, we’ll begin to read here. And these words which I command thee this day shall be in thine heart, and thou shall teach them diligently unto thy children; this is the Lord talking. And thou shall talk with them while thou sitteth in thine house, talk to you children, you see. Now watch, they will have a lot of questions. You know, I get busy with my own work, and I notice it myself, trying to help so many other people, not only in the church building here, in the cathedral, but all over the United States when they write to me, and it touches my heart, and I pray for them. While I am taking care of all my writings and seeking out the revelations and mysteries. Sometimes my own children need more corrections and sometimes we need to talk with them more, can you say Amen. I realize how old they are getting up in there and because things begin to slip in, you must watch, all of you must watch your children, the aura on me than most people, look in the Old Testament.
When you are anointed you will get what Satan tries to do. Yet God has been kind to me, he’s been marvelous to me. And when thou walketh by the way talk, and when thou lieth down and when thou riseth up. See, about three times a day, be sure you know what your children are doing, talk to them three times a day and it says when you lay down at night, talk, and at the table, talk and when thou sitteth talk, and when you have spare time, (Deut. 6:7). They’ll…. Sometimes it’s like they are not listening but you say something that will help those children, you know why? If you have faith in your heart, you know that something will come out of you from God to them and you’ll catch them. They’ll know it’s not you that is talking and he’ll kind of shake any oppressing spirit or any kind of demonic power that is closing in, we have that. And thou shall write them upon the post of thine house and on thine gate (Deutro. 6:6-9). Write them down. isn’t that wonderful? And talk to them at different times. In my family I believe it was… I got to talk quite a number or few times during the day time. I’ll probably do a few things to keep them talking to me but nevertheless, we live a fairly good life in front of the Lord; even though we didn’t attend church all the time when I was very young. It was an evening time journey where my father would say a few words to me as I was lying down. And I’ll……. say WHERE DID GOD COME FROM? Say Amen. I was a little boy then and the Lord revealed to me and I knew where he came from, for He is eternity, Amen. And things like that but we used to talk and with his children (siblings). And let’s get on with this story here, I don’t think that went over too well here.
3. Train up a child in the way that he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Can you say Amen?. I’m gonna relax because I’m gonna get into some rough things in a moment here, it’s no joking matter, it’s a very serious matter. I don’t know what child has to ask that question when he is 4, 5 years old or 6 or 7 years old. Train up a child when he is young, then the Bible here says, in one place in the scriptures, I’ll read to you says: Spare not the rod and spoil the child and the worst thing to do is spoil the child. He can’t even think for himself and later he gets you out of the way. Lest the Lord build a house, it shall not be strong, it will not be built. Now spare the rod, now this means two different things. We are getting into the subject here. The rod in the Bible was a support, the rod in the Bible was kinda like a guidance; thy rod and thy staff comforteth me, David said; so it’s not speaking in all the time, spare the rod and spoil the child, it’s also speaking of correction, no matter how you correct that child, you may take his privileges away. You may correct him with the word of God, that is the rod, the power of the anointing, it has a dual meaning there. You know beating will probably not do any good but some spankings or privileges taken away will do it mostly. Watch what your children are doing, see what sinners they are with and where they are going and what’s happening to them, can you say Amen? So I do my purpose, thy rod and thy staff comfort me, the word of the Lord and the power of the Holy Spirit, so it has a dual meaning there, that you can use. It is for correction and the chastening power of the Lord in his word will do it. So we find out in the Bible you know, there is one thing you notice, this is the key to the sermon here this morning and the Lord brought it to my attention several times but didn’t have a sermon to go with it and it’ll come into this sermon, you on television listen real close here. The Lord bless your heart. And if you’ll notice the Bible, when it was brought out concerning the flood and the people which were eight souls that were to get in the ark during that violent age. Did you know that not one child got into that ark and the Lord allowed that to come like that for our admonition in our last age, because he referred to it as it were the days of Noah so shall it be also in the coming of the Lord. How severe it would be but if you’ll read the Bible it was Noah, his wife, his three sons and their wives, pregnation possibly so, evidently was, but no children. There was not one child that got on that ark, they had let him go, in such a condition until they were completely contaminated with the world, none got on the ark and you say mine, if you got another witness, and yes I’ve got. There are several more in the Bible. But here’s another one, during the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, and the Lord also said, it shall be also like it was in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah; when I am revealed at the end of the age.
And you know in Sodom and Gomorrah what took place there, did you ever notice? Not one little child came out of there, two daughters did, but they were kinda grown up: with a lot and they came out but no young children came out. They allowed the children and taught them what they shouldn’t have taught them and there were no children that went out of Sodom. There were no children that got on the ark. What a catastrophe and yet the Lord says this is an example for your generation and yet in the Bible Jesus said, under grace thousands of years later when the messiah came under grace; Jesus said, suffer the little children, let them come unto me; can you say Amen? But to show us, none on the ark, none out of Sodom, it shows us that at the end of the age to be very careful. There will be children, there will be young teenagers coming to the Lord. It is an opportunity of a lifetime that we are living in, he will allow them to get in the ark of safety, in the translation.
4. You young people think about it, he loves you; they never went in during the flood. They never went in, to the overthrow of the fire holocaust of Sodom and Gomorrah; And yet at the end of the age, he said suffer not the little children and the young people, let them come unto me. Can you say amen? And I want the young people too, to get in and help build, to get in and help pray, to get in and testify that the Lord will bless their hearts. Unless the Lord builds a house, they labor in vain to build it. Young people are called to help build, young people are called to help work. If you keep them busy, their minds will be on the Lord. Did you know sometimes, and you listen to me here and you teach in Sunday school? Some of you teachers are probably discouraged. You think you know they should be, oh! just full of the power of God, they ought to come just vibrating with the power of God. Sometimes that’s not so, but let me tell you something, how important a Sunday school teacher is. When those little children, there’s that all they get for that week and you don’t think you are doing anything, you’ve got one of the most valuable jobs, even more valuable than the teachers in schools except they need to be educated some, we know that, but the Lord comes first. And you may not seem that you are making any headway but you are keeping some of those from going deeper into the world already put away. You are causing those children that little that you’re giving Him, although one or two may go astray, yet, you are laying a foundation in there. You may not even notice it yourself but if you hadn’t been laying that foundation there, you wouldn’t have any of them there. How many of you can praise the Lord? Sunday school teachers take courage, God is talking to you this morning, we need the Sunday school teachers to implant the word of God, it will help more than anything else along with family prayer and correction. How many of you say Amen? And Satan will make the Sunday school teacher sometime just like the minister can be. He’ll make the Sunday school teacher think he is not doing anything with these children. Oh yes, you are, if you just sit there and preach the word of God and show kindness and love and also authority the Lord will bless your heart, how many of you can say Amen? Alright so we find out the violent age, what an age of opportunity; listen to this: God’s eternal word never changes.
Now you know good gospel music is wonderful and we are going to have a convention just for the young people. Well everybody can come to see it and some of the rock and roll singers are turning to the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that’s probably what many of them that are passed on now would have done if they could have pulled out of them in time; but they didn’t. Some of the hard rock singers and other singers are coming in, God saved their heart and they are coming in to sing gospel music and they can relate to the age. They can relate to society. But listen, let me tell you something, why so many people will find out they’ve wondered. There are so many that have turned to western music and some turned to other types of music because of the words and the hard acid rock and different things, that, I believe that you should just have gospel music and wonderful music. You know what? One of my, you know there wasn’t anything wrong with it, but a little boy, one little boy of mine a while back and it just came into my heart. He started with one or two wires, I guess you’ve seen all this electrical stuff for television over here in his room. He started with a couple wires and tubes and I wasn’t paying much attention. I was going about preaching everything and the next thing I knew he had a whole cabinet of things in there that he would trade and buy and so forth like that and do a little work around the church. And the next thing I knew he had a regular radio centre in there; he put up here, he had one of those clothes hangers and he went from there to a great rod, and I said, I would even have to televise over there. I just televise right out of here. Seeing it grow and of course he put gospel music on, every once a while, I hear that music come in here and I tell him he wants to stay with the gospel music. See, it’ll just slip in tube wire by wire until they have a whole network nearly going on. That’s the age we live in here. We have to be careful and good gospel music is wonderful and the Lord will bless anybody that listens to it.
5. Now we’re going- some singing here but listen to this right here. I want to say it, and our music now, the regular beat, the gospel, the rhythm and the sound and the happiness and the joy, that was originally in the church. Satan stole it, twisted it up, put it out in rock and roll. Elvis Presley started by coming from Pentecost, what happened there? When he went out there, he wanted to be a gospel singer, but he got too far gone in the money realm. Anyway we see Satan picks it and changes it and twists it up, then it destroys rather than blesses. It’s a negative of what was positive. How many? See the music is played using the wrong key, it tears up the body and it can destroy the soul. They play it in different keys; gospel music is played in a melody, a happiness, joy, so forth like that. Listen to this; the present rock and roll scene of evil legacy that’s left; let’s start, it’s one giant multimedia portrait of degradation, a sleazy world of immorality, venereal disease, anarchy, ism, cocaine, heroine, marijuana, satanism, homosexualism, perversion, multi orgies and annihilation. Scientists, and different ones are looking into this. I have a scroll coming, I didn’t get it all there because it’s just only a part of the scroll, we’ll write later. And right here, extensive research reveals direct and deliberate encouragement, in acid rock music or R-rated movies; that the children are being able to go see; will for the young people, it will cause them to abandon biblical morality and embrace multi sexual perversion, promiscuity, drug abuse, satanic worship, that’s right. Satan worship is entering into it. Rebellion against society, rebellion against family, violence and sometimes even murder. You know the two young men, Lennon, that was killed; the murderer listened to the music of Lennon and it twisted him up until he shot him. He was supposed to be from what we understand a Christian home at one time, from a Christian family.
The young man that attempted assassination on Ronald Reagan, the president of the United States came from a Christian family. Caught in the vortex of that world, turned out to be an assassin, an attempted assassination in there; and all of the things and crimes that we got going on anarchism, you have to be careful the way it is coming now. The words (lyrics of the music) and what the words are telling them, are coming in such a way until it’ll cause rebellion in the society, rebellion in the home, we need more gospel music. Can you say Amen? It’s an absolute fact, the sodomite sound is coming, so spare the rod and spoil the child, use the rod of correction in the word of God, use it as a comfort, as a support for your children, and when you have to take necessary corrections, then it’s your business to do so. You can take privileges or do what the Lord shows you to do, but have the family altar. It is the society that we’re living in, we need a strong family altar. Listen to this, and we will read it in the Bible, in John chapter 10 here we find out, the scriptures can not be broken in Proverbs 13:13; whoso despises the word shall be destroyed. Did you read the scriptures a while ago about how the Lord handles the children to teach them by the way and how to guide them. In other words if you don’t guide your children, sometimes like I say, you can do all you can do but then it’s up to the hand of the Lord. If sometimes, somehow, they don’t come in and if you don’t guide them or lead your children, then somebody at school will, somebody in music form will do it. How many people believe that? It’s exactly right, I want to reach not only all classes of people but I want to reach young people with the power of the gospel. I want them to know that there is a thrill in the Lord Jesus Christ, and it will not destroy body and soul, it will lift up, it will give faith. You have something to look forward to, you have eternity to look forward to. In the others, there is nothing that you can look forward to. So we find out the scriptures can not be broken; teach your child in His way, spare not the rod. The Bible says unless the Lord builds the house, they labor to build in vain, and you read that in Psalm 127:1. Here’s some more in the scriptures here in Deuteronomy 12:32; what things soever I command you, observe to do it. Thou shall not add thither to or diminish from it but whatever I have spoken to you, then I command you to do it. How many of you believe in a message like this? You know, we need this messages and you young people you say, oh well, some of that doesn’t bother me, yes but that’s how it works, it doesn’t seem to bother you at first and it seems that you can overcome it with your faith, but little by little Satan builds a nest and when he gets the nest all built, he lies there. How many of you can praise the Lord? The Bible gives a parable on four kinds of hearers, some fall by the wayside, some hear the gospel with joy but when persecution comes then they fall by the wayside. Some others hear the gospel, the word of God, they have no root (on stony ground) and then when it seems like the type of offenses and the pleasures of this world come then they have no root and they’re blown away. Others fell among thorns and were choked up by the cares of this life. Others fell on good ground. It is good to stay firm in the Word of the living God, there is a healing balm to it; can you say Amen? We’re moving in a fast society, we’re moving in a society that mankind has never seen before. It is said, to have patience, and we see at the end of the age, being erotic, your children will have hypertension, but by praising the Lord, if you can get an atmosphere of praising the Lord you’ll begin to instill something in that home and the Lord will bless your heart.
6. Remember, take time, take courage, and no matter if Satan causes one to go by the wayside, you just take it as a test. Hold on to the Lord. If you put him in the hands of the Lord, he (your child) will wish that you had got a hold of him and corrected him first, because when the Lord gets through, they are looking for mama they are looking for papa. Can you say amen? In my own life as a teenager, I was looking for a home after a while, Amen. And He was good to me; he converted me later. I’ve been this way ever since, preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ; and somebody says, you know they say; bro Frisby, well yeah you know sure, I’m getting up in age. I saw myself now, but did you- were you out in that kind of world? oh, I was out when it all got started and where all came from at that time. I had my part of the sin, the drinking, the cigarettes, all of that out there. I didn’t like them very much. Alright but the thing is this, but sometimes forces you, you know. I was very young at that time and don’t anybody take this sermon and twist it up that’s all been forgotten. I was a teenager and the Lord converted my heart and never, never, again did it come to my lips or a drink or anything like that; because the Lord did something for me that mankind cannot do, and that’s by the power of the Lord Jesus Christ. I don’t think any of you’ll get in the mess that I got into. At one time as a young barber at 16 years growing up, with grown men, going out and drinking and so on like that. It got to a real terrible condition. It was a catastrophic condition, and yet even my life was close to where it was destroying me completely. The hand of God reached out there and you know what, people had prayed for me too and it came time for the Lord to reach down; and he did it. He can do the same for your life. I’d even taken drugs, so forth like that as a young man; but after conversion, I’ll tell you, that there’s more in the power of God. That you can get out of any bottle, there’s more of the power of God that you can get anywhere. If you can know how to approach the Lord and you believe the Lord in your heart, let me tell you something he’ll bubble up in there and He will help you, keep your eye on the Lord.
Let us watch our children, and that’s why we’re going to have some things for the young people later on. Like I said, I’m going to reach out to all the people that I can reach out to. So we see unless the Lord builds a house, they build it in vain. We are in a hostile environment, let’s raise our children right, let’s get them together and keep them clean, show them the word of the Lord and pray and the Lord will really bless you. So the youth are sometimes forgotten and their problems and in their troubles, so it’s a warning. When none got on the Ark, when none got out of Sodom,the young children, the Lord pointing to our age, let the children come to me. Allow the little children to come to me, even parents that are not serving the Lord ought to go ahead and let their children come to God. Can you say amen? It is really wonderful. Now if we can insert the five minutes program, I believe I touched on a subject on crime or something like that; but we will insert something, the rest of the broadcast. Bro Frisby: Now Dan this subject is really important we want to help the people.
Bro Dan: we’re going to talk about immoral plights and crime waves. And you, back in 1967, you foresaw a lot of these happening, and I mean, it was terrible and it is getting terrible.
Bro Frisby: And I wrote it on prophetic scrolls in 1967, I said it would be into the stage of madness, a law breakdown and drugs, and so forth, immorality. He revealed to me the immoral plight of the whole world. And how that was undressing and what would take place in the age we live in. And also, along with this breakdown of law and order, and I noticed since then so much of this has come to pass. But it’s showing us that out of lawlessness, finally a dictator will rise, because they do not allow the officers, the police, to do their duty. There are too many loopholes, people today say they have to kill somebody, they have to destroy something, they will not arrest them till after the act. They would give warnings if somebody made a threat, you know, and this kept down 50% of it.
Bro Dan: But now they don’t.
Bro Frisby: No.
Bro Dan: Now you have to murder somebody, before you can get the attention of the people who are passing the laws.
Bro Frisby: That’s right.
Bro Dan: (continue statement) And the people who are actually making, putting those laws into practice.
Bro Frisby: The public needs more help and if I was the public now this is not political, but I am only trying because it’s a biblical prophecy: saying it would be this way at the end of the age too. They need help, the people need help. Their homes, when somebody makes a threat or whether it is by rebels or whatever is causing it, they need more help than what they’re getting. I feel that if the police had a phone situation to work with, whoever made the threat to the neighbor or the individual, the police could phone and say this is just a warning but the neighbor will file a complaint and then we will have to pick you up. Show them what will take place, they let them get by with so much, and they themselves know they can’t do anything to me (rebel or crime suspect) until I really do it. This only makes them finally do something, like in Vermont Virginia, a 14-16 years old boy killed those two or one girl up there. And they are going to get out of it because of the law, and the boy who brought it out said, why everytime we got in trouble, busting windows, drugs or whatever it was, they just released us. And therefore it encouraged them to commit murder. You see, they changed that law that the teenager could be tried for murder.
Bro Dan: That’s right, we’ve been going in the wrong direction.
Bro Frisby: That’s right.
Bro Dan: Okay, we will get back to more of these in a moment. (Dan makes a remark). Now let’s get back to what we’re talking about. This super crime wave that’s either with us and it’s gonna be with us.
Bro Frisby: It will be worse, until about the 1990s will be just a real breakdown, finally because of the police, because the judges are not able to do their duty. It will bring on finally a police state, and then a world dictator rises out of a tumultuous chaos and revolutionary crisis across the earth. Finally, we will call for a dictator and we will be then, because they didn’t do their duty exactly right; can’t blame them, they’re curtailed but it’ll bring on a police state, where they will be under a police state also. Revelation chapter 13, if they want to read it towards the end, shows absolute control by electronics, they will have intelligence, Artificial intelligence(AI) in images and the policing will be all by computers, and so forth and electronics. Finally it will be misused by a dictator. This is coming at the end of the age. 2 Thessalonian 2:4 I think tells them some more about it.
Bro Dan: Yes.
Bro Frisby: A complete breakdown of law and order is coming.
Bro Dan: But to sum up now, our whole thrust here is to tell people that they have to do something about it.
Bro Frisby: Sure, people should let it be known, we’ll have times where crimes will come down and go up and come down. Finally, it will come under a police state way later in the age, but they should do something right now. And that they need more help, instead of somebody, already committing the crime and doing something about it, should be a warning, set up to show that something will be done, that will help it at least 50%.
