Great, Amazing, Glorious Rewards Neal Frisby’s Sermon CD#

Oh, I’m happy to be here. How about you? Do you ever love Jesus?
All right I am going to ask Him to bless the service and let’s see what
He’s got for us this morning. If you have any sickness tonight, I am
sure He can take care of it. In fact, this morning if you will just yield
just right while we are preaching and ministering you will be healed
by the power of God. But nevertheless you will get blessed by the
power of God. Can you say amen? Lord, today reach out and touch
their hearts and open them, that they will understand the things that
you’ve told me to bring to them, and I believe you are going to bless
every one of them. Oh! touch the new ones too, bless their homes,
Lord. Make it a turnabout, let them have the good things not only
here, but in the things to come. Come on and let’s praise the Lord!
Hallelujah! Come on, can you praise Him? Can you praise Jesus! Isn’t
that wonderful? He is really wonderful.
Go ahead and be seated. My, my, Jesus is really wonderful! I don’t
know if this clock is right. Is it 10 minutes after 11 or is the clock
wrong? Because you know, sometimes you get to preaching and you
open your eyes up, you don’t know where you are. I think it was
Sunday night. I thought I’d preach about an hour, and I had about 20
minutes left because I’d preached so much during that day that people
were just kind of carried away. You couldn’t hardly, you know, I
guess that God was finishing up. And that morning it seemed like I
preached 30 minutes, I believe I preached over an hour. So that’s the
way that time and space does with God. It’s really strange on the
anointing which way you are going there. Well, I’ll tell you one
thing we better do, is keep time a spiritual time.
- Now this morning, I want you to listen closely because it’s
probably one of the most important messages and yet it’s a
message that’s not talked about much. It’s an important
message and I believe every one of you is going to be glad that
you heard it this morning because somehow if you don’t look at
it from this, the Lord wants you to look at it from the angle that
He gives it here. If you don’t, you will be missing something in
your Christian life and you will wonder what it is. I’ve
preached so many things, you know, that the Bible gives,
how to operate your faith, that peace of mind, and different
sermons about faith, but this here is something else. Without
this, you won’t have a solid foundation. So you listen closely.
So, the title of this is, Great, Amazing, Glorious Rewards or
you can just call it What Really Counts when it’s all said and
done, what really counts. Now, there’s a mystery about the
judgments and the rewards. The rewards are to the saints.
They are different from the White Throne judgment. You
are coming up to a throne with God and He will be giving
out some rewards to the elect of God. Now the judgment and
the sinners’ throne will be the White Throne judgment, but
this is different. The elect receive their rewards before the
millennium, way before the White Throne judgment there.
It’s almost at the same time as they see Jesus. It’s connected
soon afterwards somewhere in there that He will give these
rewards. Listen real close. Now before we really get into this, I
would like to show you some scriptures here. I’ve got some here
that I want to read to you and you listen real close, the promises
that we have now and then we will get into the promises that we
have coming and why we are to do what we are to do. And so
we will begin to read here in Luke 10:19, He says, I give you
power over all the power of the enemy.” You’ve got it, that
settles it! Work towards that end, it is there! Rejoice not because
the evil spirits are subject to you or it might be even heavenly
spirits. If you have faith and power the angels are even subject
to you there, but it goes both ways there. But rejoice because
your names are written in the book of life and they are
written in heaven. Now the gift and the power the Lord has
given me is to cast evil spirits out. It’s a very important work
for the church to do and for me to do also, but beyond this,
what is more vital and important than that is that your
names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. There is a
reward to that. This other [casting out devils] is what you are
working and it’s something that God gives you upon the earth to
relieve the tension and to relieve the sicknesses and so forth. - And then He says this, what He is about to do at the end of the
age to those that follow Him, Blessed are your eyes saith the
Lord which see the things ye see. It’s our generation seeing the
climaxing signs, our generation which is going to see the
coming of the Lord. Blessed are your eyes, this generation
He will come in. I really believe that. Now prophets and kings
have desired to see these things and have not. All of those
before Adam right up to Elijah, the prophet, right out in the days
of Noah and Abraham, all of the prophets and David, all of
them. They wanted to see this day, but it was not given to
them, but you were born by predestination and providence
to be right here where you are at now, at the time you were
born to be able to see what prophets and kings wanted to
see. And yet simple people upon the earth are going to see
the greatest things that’ve been hidden from kings and from
prophets nearly at that time, ancient time. You are going to
be able to see these things, and shortly they are coming to pass
now. I would say this great Capstone, the way the anointing
works here is one of the most amazing things that one will
ever see in the history of the church, but you won’t know
that until a little later on how exactly that He works. People
are able to film the things that are going on here. So, prophets
and kings have desired to see these things and have not seen
them. So keep your eyes open there. - Now, Rewards, listen to this real close, the reward to the
gospel worker. This is our message and Jesus definitely told
me, awakened me and told me “to tell them I have their
rewards, I am waiting,” there it is, right there. And my other
sermon was completely a distant and different one that I have
put down to come in the future and so forth, the type of
sermons. And suddenly, he changed things in the night and
spoke to me. And so I hurried and got the scriptures together
and I will go over how He spoke in a minute here. Now we will
start with this reward to the gospel worker. The reaper receives
wages. “Say you not, there are yet four months, and then cometh
harvest? behold I say unto you lift up your eyes and look on the
fields for they are white all ready to harvest. And he that reapeth
receiveth wages….” Not only in this world, but those wages
are paid in the world to come, and you ought to see what
kind of a value that is put on there and you would really
know what you are doing here. “And gathereth fruit unto
eternal life; that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may
rejoice together” (John 4:35). Now, there it is, you, the
worker, I am here preaching, we both work bringing them
together the things that we work together to do, and both
rejoice together and will receive a payment for this. And it
will be proven in the bible here and I noted down some things
here. Now, listen there, all of these are more than a promise, it is
a reality and it’s eternal, the reward is forever. The ones who
listen and believe will receive wonders, healing, salvation,
prosperity, revelation, joy, peace, rest. They will receive that
here and they will receive rewards here, so work at it. People
have a habit of only seeing the things that are in this life.
They only see the material things which God has promised
those too, and they forget the heavenly rewards which are
very important. Before we get finished here, you are going to
see what the Lord has for you. And so they just forget the
heavenly rewards, that’s Christians too, and many of the
churches. They just have not been taught and they just forget
it and the bible says do not forget all of His benefits. That’s
your earthly benefits and most of all that, that Jesus puts
ahead of all of it, is your heavenly benefits. - And so they are careless in obtaining the benefits. Not one of
you in here can say’ Oh well, the Lord hadn’t chosen me for
any reward.” It’s from the least to the greatest, He has some
things for each and every one of you and you let the devil
cheat you out. Some of you say, “Well, you know if I just had
something to do.” You’ve got plenty to do. There is a great
reward that I’ll be getting into in a moment on intercessory.
There’s a great reward and we’ll get to that. And so, they are
careless, but God in His love has no respect for persons, in His
love or reward to His church. Can you say amen? That’s true
except some will receive more than others. That’s scriptural.
There will be differences in the judgments to the sinners,
too. There are variations of judgments because when Jesus
was brought before Pilate He as much as told him the same
thing; greater is the sin of them that brought me to you than
the sin that you have here. And then of course in the bible.
Jesus would say about the Pharisees, greater the sin would
be upon them than the others, and to whom much is given
much is required. The same thing as there will be differences
in judgment to the sinners and the same there will be
different rewards to the saints. Now He is a God like that and
all even through the workings of the Bible we see that He’s done
it on the earth and He has some form in heaven. Also, Jesus
said there would be some saved as if by fire. They just barely
would be saved, but they would have no reward. Oh my,
they would have no reward, 1 Corinthians 3:15! Well, I
grant you just to get a reward, but he is talking about the
prize, and I will talk about it in a moment. Well, most of all,
God wants to show you this morning what you have done
has already been noted down. You shall not lose your
reward. But I am going to inspire you to go on here and
remember that the one that lost it was the one that was built
on wood, hay, and stubble. They didn’t build upon the
precious things in the scriptures and the Word of God. So,
they just barely got in. They lost their reward, 1 Corinthians
3:15. - Now we’ll get back to here. I want to read this. It’s so much here
that God gives me, “He that giveth his life for the gospel sake
shall save it” (Mark 8:35). We know, and the apostles, a great
reward, they lost their lives for that. And they that forsake all for
the gospel sake shall receive a hundredfold now and in the
world to come life eternal. I will read that scripture, “Verily, I
say unto you, there is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or
sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my
sake, and the gospel’s: But he shall receive a hundredfold now
in this time, houses, brethren, sisters, mothers, and children, and
lands, with persecutions” (Mark 10:29-30). Now, that turns
them back. Yes, that’s right, that’s right. “And with
persecutions,” now the first time that a person starts to seek God
and they get on their knees and they get to working for the Lord
and they get to do that, somebody will come up and criticize,
some devil will take a shot at him. There will be persecution
upon them and they will begin to cut at him from the left and to
the right. And it said, “with persecutions” and it’s because there
have been persecutions that turn back ninety percent. They
don’t want to be persecuted, but it didn’t turn back Paul, it
didn’t turn back the twelve(apostles). They come right on
through to their job and the elect will not if they’re truly the
elect of God. And if you are the elect of God, you will go
right straight through like Jesus did to the cross. You will
receive your reward, but with persecution. Now the people
say, “Oh, I want the hundredfold, I want this, I want that.”
But see the hour of the persecution comes upon them and
they drop by the wayside so quickly. “And in the world comes
eternal life” (Mark 10: 29-30). There you see, this (persecution)
stops them. - Now the Bible says this also and a lot of people, you know,
when that happens, they don’t want to forgive. It says, “Forgive
and you shall be forgiven” (Luke 6:37). A lot of that goes with
that hundredfold. Forgive and you shall be forgiven, learn
how to do that because it won’t work any other way. And
then you know Jesus said, “Forgive them for they know not
what they do,” teaching us a lesson: some people that bother
you, some people that you know, sinners and so forth and even
sometimes Christian are foolish. They don’t realize you know,
even what they’re doing and sometimes, other times, they do,
but Jesus said in any situation, forgive. They don’t know what
they’re doing, see? And so, if you look at it like that and let it
go then God will bless you. Now each man is rewarded
according to his work. You see the prophet no longer, you are
looking at the apostle in the scriptures, no longer the one that
you say has a great powerful ministry and that the Lord is
moving. And just look what is happening, but here each man
is taken in consideration and including him. It’s all involved
in this thing for each man to be rewarded according to his
work. “For the Son of Man shall come in the glory of his father
with his angels and then shall he reward every man according to
his works” (Matthew 16:27). Let me tell you something
whether it’s good or bad, there will be a reward. The one at
the White Throne, you don’t want to get there then the
rewards go in a different direction, depart from me, see, and
you go in the other direction. But the reward for the good,
there will be variations of that and it’s really important too.
And I want to read a little bit more here on the back of this card
that I had here, you listen real close. And so, we see now this
anointing that Jesus has put here on the Capstone will
definitely help you to receive and in heaven a reward. Now
watch why he put it here. It is one of the greatest boosters,
even myself the way the anointing moves, helps me
tremendously in my writing and how it moves upon me and
to bring forth these things and it’s here; take advantage of
it! There is a group predestined to receive a reward with me.
He spoke to me concerning that and it goes into faithfulness.
We’ll watch in a moment because that is the heart of the
message. This is simply a foundation kind of pushing things out
of the way for you. And there is a group predestined with me,
I know that, and they’re not only just here, but all over this
nation and many foreign countries that are helping to put
the gospel out. - And so the anointing is a treasure. It’s covering you. Anything
that you get here and in the world to come is an important value.
I really believe at the end of the age that God does what He
does here and the anointing will also show and give them
enough of faith to require and to get what the reward will be
that God has for them. Now Jesus suffered for these
rewards, let us claim them. Paul wanted the prize. He
already had salvation. He already had the Holy Spirit. He
already had the gifts of healing. He already had more
knowledge and wisdom than the rest of the disciples and
apostles. He had all of these things and yet he kept striving.
He kept saying, and he said, “I’ll go for the prize!” Boy, he
was going for the great reward. He had accomplished all of
those things, everything a man had hoped for spiritually upon
the earth and with persecutions, he had suffered with all of those
things. All of those things were part of it, but now he was
striving. We will get to that in a moment why he was like that.
He was different from the rest of them. He had a very analytical,
spiritual mind to pick up. He knew more about those rewards.
He knew more about the hereafter. In fact, he went to the third
heaven, and he was up there and he heard and saw things that he
was not even allowed to utter or to bring back to the church.
And ever since then he was going for the prize, but in between
he would write it. Not telling them what he was doing because
God had for his faithfulness to His work and for the suffering
that the prophet was going through, the Lord couldn’t help but to
catch him up. And when He called him up, He showed Paul,
he had been so faithful. He didn’t have to show Paul this; he
already believed it. He believed it with all of his heart, but
God took him up there. Whatever he saw in the third heaven
he says it’s beyond any words; that I can’t come back and
tell the church because he said some may just jump off of a
mountain to get there. We don’t know, but he didn’t tell
those things and Paul was a man that would tell you
anything that would help you anyway that he could write it
in the bible. But yet he came back and he was going for a prize. - Now besides your salvation, besides your healing upon the
earth and besides the gifts and the power which is very
important here to deliver people and salvation and all these
things. And besides all that that you have, you want to strive
for something very important, that’s in heaven. It has more
value than anything we can accomplish here, any amount of
money, any amount of anything. Boy, look towards it! He
woke me up. He said, “I have their rewards, wake them up,
wake them up!” I’m going to wake you up. We are going to
get in some real great things here this morning. So here, take
advantage of this anointing. If they only knew what He has put
here and why these things are taking place here. It is to reward
His people! Remember Jesus’ final words will be this: “Well
done, thou good and faithful servant.” Each one of you, not one
will escape the accountability of the age and even the
children will be rewarded, not one, every one of you
included. I don’t care how much or what you think. And we
will see how many of you can look back at your past life, look
towards the future and see what you can bring up to date.
Remember this, the key word is definitely “faithful”
completely surrendered for best results. The word
“surrender,” when you surrender to the Lord and the way
that He wants you to, your reward increases ten, fifteen, and
twenty-fold over the ones that, like He said, some people will
just barely get there. If you want to read that scripture, it’s in
1st Corinthians 3:15. They lose their reward, but they escape.
They barely get there through the fire, it says. Nevertheless,
should you have done anything at all, there will be a reward.
Now, we’ll get to some of those promises in a moment. I want
to read a few more scriptures and then we will really get into the
message here. And so we see don’t forget any of this. Now
listen, in all of this the key word–He is coming with this–
associated with these rewards is faithfulness. That key word
is “very faithful.” You say, “How does the bride stand out?”
How does the one that really stands out above all, the elect from
the foolish virgin and so forth sometimes? I won’t preach a
sermon about it, but there is a circle, a very inner circle of God.
There is another, I saw it, there is another circle outside of
that circle. I thought another is surprising, I had to go to the
scriptures, I had to. Oh boy, you’d ever seen such a sight in
your life and it was right there! Thunder, He draws, He
goes, see? Someday, I’ll be able to bring that to you. It’s
beautiful and then it goes right on out as it begins to go like a
rainbow and just fold out like a flower. You ought to see
how He’s got His people lined up. You have never seen
anything like it in your life. You talk about brilliance, you
talk about a Supernatural Brain, Somebody far advanced
ahead of us. You ought to see how He’s positioned. Already,
there’s no one anywhere who can do anything with Him.
He’s got it so perfect, He knows every position from top to
bottom far beyond military rule or any other computer that
you can get, a computer would be scrapped in front of Him. - It is powerful. Listen to me about these rewards: the worlds to
come, not just one world, kingdoms after kingdoms, planets
after planets, universe after universe, galaxies after galaxies
man, He’s got it there! He knows exactly why we are here. He
knows exactly where you are going. He has your job cut out
in the hereafter. You are going to work and do things for the
Lord. Some people think, you know, when this is over I’ll
stand there and just praise Jesus. Oh no, He’s done getting
angels to do that. They are praying day and night; you can
do that, but He’s going to give you responsibility. You are
being trained now under my ministry, He told me, some
people here, for the hereafter, things that you will be doing.
Remember there will be a millennium too and all of His
kingdoms and you will follow the great Commander, but He
will give you various things to do. In other words, you will be
over authority, because you will be as the angels even with
more power. God will be with you there and with great
authority. And not only this, you will more than anything in the
world, your desire will be more than any desire you’ve ever had
upon the earth. You will get the greatest desire that you’ve
ever had upon the earth to do something that you’ve desired
to do the most. But then when you get to heaven, there will
be no desire ever that you’ve had; that you will really want
to do what God has positioned you to do. Oh, remember it’s
not entered in your heart. It hasn’t entered into your mind, see,
don’t try to try to figure it out, but He’s got it and He’s got those
circles. He draws out that bride. He’s got those attendants. He
drops back to the Jews. He’s got it all drawn, He’s got the
different ones of the foolish. Now watch and see how I come; it
is beautiful, but He knows in all of His plans, He knows exactly
what He is doing. Now remember this, get it real close here,
faithful, you see it’s a divine secret. What sets the bride out?
Why is the elect set different? What is it? It’s two or three
qualifications, but the thing most of all it is the faithfulness.
No matter what God calls them to do, no matter what it is,
their faithfulness will be there. Watch and see, it’s associated
with everything here. Now listen to this real close, “Who then is
a faithful and wise servant whom his Lord hath made ruler over
his household to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that
servant whom his Lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
Verily, I say unto you that he shall make him ruler over all his
goods.” I just got through telling you about all of the Lord’s
goods (Matthew 24: 45-47). Now, that’s just one and the
word, “faithful servant,” is associated with every one of you
here that’s been faithful to the ministry, not backbiting, not
knowing. Sometimes, you may not understand everything
that God does through me, but you know in your heart He’s
called me to do this even though sometimes you may not
understand it and faithful as you come, and faithful in other
things that you do. You will not lose your reward, and it
won’t matter about mine or the reward there, but yours will
be sewed up. God will be with you. He won’t forget you. Let
me tell you something, He does not forget the rewards. He
will be there the same as He said He was going to the cross
and would be there after the cross. He is very faithful and
He’s done it so that we would know how to do it.
Now listen real close here, “And He said unto him, “Well
done, thou good servant because thou has been faithful in little.”
Now, a lot of people want to be faithful in large things but
not faithful in little things. “I will give thee authority over ten
cities” (Luke 19:17). There’s one getting ten cities. You say
where’s all this coming from? Well, let’s listen real close here
and many people have wondered about that scripture too, “For I
say unto you that unto everyone which hath shall be given and
from him that hath not, even that he shall be taken away from
him.” The ones that He gives something to do and they didn’t do
anything at all, it’s taken away and given to the other ones that
work there (Luke 19:26 ). And so we see now, He said he’d be
faithful and he would do it over ten cities, five cities, and so
forth in different parts of the scriptures. And people wondered
about that. Well, many people think you know that they will
share in the rulership of the Hebrews, the twelve tribes that will
rule the earth, the twelve apostles and so forth. During the great
millennium that they have been upon the earth for 1,000 years,
there’ll be cities over the earth again and it probably is so. The
bride-elect will have the upper hand, the authority of power,
watching over the twelve tribes upon the earth and then
running the earth, and the other ones will be in a place of
authority. But also that has to do with God’s other rewards,
His planets. It has to do with the different galaxies, different
things that He would have you to do in heaven so, it’s not
only the ten cities here. Evidently, somewhere He has a plan
for you people, some five cities to watch over. Now, you say
how the possibility…how do you know? But I would imagine
He has worlds beyond [this] world, see, eternal life, it’s so
valuable and the Lord loves to share it with those that obey
Him. But to share His eternal life is one of the greatest gifts
that He could ever give a person.

So therefore, He gives them the greatest thing that He
has and that is eternal life. He held nothing back. What do
we give to God sometimes? What do we give to our Lord?
Different people that we know and upon this earth here and
they have gifts and they have this and many times it’s held
back. But here now He told me right now, the Holy Spirit,
listen to this close, nothing has He withheld. But the greatest
thing that He’s got and the greatest thing and the most
important thing of all He gave us the best thing that He had,
that’s eternal life, there is no end. Now He could have
promised us 1 million years and it would have possibly never
come to an end for us or 10 trillion years. But no, He just cut
it short, “He that believeth on me and confesses with his
mouth I am the Lord Jesus Christ that saved you by the
blood of Jesus Christ hath eternal life.” He’s straight to the
point and if you get straight to the point with Him, you’ll get
something from Him. The best he could give eternal life, He
gives the best that He has so, we ought to give Him the best
there. So, He said, faithful, the faithful servant, and so he made
him ruler over many things. His Lord said unto him, “Well
done, thou good and faithful servant, thou has been faithful over
a few things.” Now you see, sometimes it’s just the little
things. If you’re faithful over the little things, my, what a
blessing that you’ve got! And then some that have larger things
that are not so faithful over them, the Lord will bring it all into
scope. He knows exactly what He’s doing even before they got
there to do it. Now faithful over a few things, I will make the
ruler over many things. Just look at these rewards! Just look at
these promises! “Enter thou into the joy of the Lord (Matthew
25: 21). The elect will be wrapped in faith, faithfulness and
power of the Lord. What are the qualifications? Every Word
that proceedeth out of the bible, the mouth of God, they will
receive. That is one qualification to the bride, her and the
Word are the same together. They believe and they work
together and the Word of God and the faith of the Lord will
be in her heart. And then you have the faithfulness, the
obedience, faithfulness and obedience run right straight. If
you’re very faithful, that’s being obedient right there and if
you are obedient, you’re being very faithful many times. But
the most important thing, the key word and it’s given in the
Philadelphia age and every age there that does something
for God, the key Word is [to be] faithful with what He has
you to do.

Now you say, now How can I be faithful? Now, whatever
it is, God will bless your heart, and I’ve got something here now,
I wrote this down. I begin to realize that Christians don’t take
these promises seriously. It’s why they are so downhearted.
There’s a time when they are confused. If they only knew
that each time they give or they help, there is a record! How
many of you know that now? Here’s a major part. I want to help
you this morning. I am speaking of the truth of the Lord and
many times their happiness in the Christian life is not there
as it should be and they are confused and they are expecting
to do great things. They’re not even doing little things to the
Lord, and the little things will be storing up wealth in
heaven. My land, it said, “Lay up treasure in heaven.” Don’t
worry about the earth. Those things will take care of itself
but lay up those treasures in heaven, He says. And He says,
no moth can get in and eat it up and steal and so forth like that.
Now there is a reward for the soul winner, a definite reward
saith the Lord. He’s right there, like a good fisherman when he
goes forth and he’s steady at it and he stays right there until he
gets them, and he works, and he witnesses. Now watch, there is
a reward for the soul winner, and you have to be taught to talk,
when to talk and when not to talk. You have to know when God
leads you. There is a great reward for the soul winner and
there is a reward for those that witness even when the people
don’t listen, He will reward you. And I say this by the
authority of the Lord in the fullest in His name, there is a
reward beyond anything that you can get upon this earth
because He wants to get your attention. We are going to
leave this earth soon! The translation will soon be around
the corner. We are getting closer and closer. It’s time to get
our mind on those heavenly prizes. Paul knew he was getting
close to when they were going to take his life, but all that he
could do, he tried with everything. That’s why he tried so hard
and went to so many places and how the Lord blessed him! He
knew what to do and the Lord had to keep him in prison
sometimes so that he could write, so that he didn’t get loose
and do other things. He had to curtail him the same as my
ministry is curtailed. He had sort of locked me in to keep
putting these messages out or I’d just be out there giving the
devil more than he’ll ever handle, I’ll tell you right now. Can
you say amen? All right, who knows? He may let me go once in
a while back out there across the nation. I don’t know what he
will do, but I will be here all the time. The Lord knows this. He
is really great.

Now, here is a reward: when you witness them and
they don’t even listen, you have delivered the blood off your
hands to Ezekiel. You remember what we said about that.
When they don’t even listen and you preach the gospel and
they turn around, you get a reward for that and that is
work. In fact, that’s harder than winning souls and when
you win souls, you know, you get happiness and joy. But
many people witness, they don’t get so many souls won
because they are not in a position really to reach those souls.
But they are in a position to witness to others that the others
can’t even get to and when they witness it’s a hard place, and
although they witness they can’t get them to turn. It’s kind of
a job. Others are in the business of soul winning and they are
sending out literature like me and they’re right there where
they can save souls. Others, it’s quite harder, but there’s one
thing you can do, you can get to some that I can’t get to.
That’s the ones that don’t get my literature, hear my voice
on radio, what I’m doing, you can get to them. And as God
leads you, you testify and if they don’t listen, you just shout
victory! There’s a reward because you spoke for Him. Jesus
said if you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you. Let me
tell you something when you put in a good word for the Lord
Jesus, boy, you don’t know how He feels about that! He feels
good. “Well, the devil didn’t tie that one down. He put a
good word in for the Lord, I will put a good word in for
them. Praise the Lord! He said so too.
14.
Listen now, there is one here. There is a reward for those
who help the sick and the suffering even if they don’t have
the gifts of healing and power like you’ve seen in my
ministry. There is a reward for those that help and pray the
prayer that they can, and anything they can do while you are
praying for those on the field suffering, it might be overseas,
it might be in this country, it might be missionaries, no
matter what. And for those that have opportunity, you see
somebody is suffering, tell them Jesus loves you, he hears the
bible or something like some literature, read it, God will heal
you. There’s a great reward also for that, so don’t let that escape
you. Possibly, each one of these, somebody can do. And then
there is a reward for those, listen to this real close here, there’s
a reward to the giver, a real genuine reward. It’s impossible
for me to leave this out. Remember, he that works in the gospel
a hundredfold shall receive wages not only here but in the
eternities. Not only do you receive eternal life from the Lord,
which is the greatest gift of all, but you receive these other
rewards and positions and the powerfulness of His anointing
and the lights of the Lord. So, there’s a great reward to the
giver. Every dime, every hundred-dollar bill, every fifty,
every ten that you’ve worked for, and you dropped in, God
looks at it as one way, there is a reward there. Even some
people give and they don’t even exactly come to church all the
time, but the Lord will have something for them, should they get
there, I will say that. But let me tell you right here He does not
forget, they are rewarded in this world. And when you give, a
lot of people give to the gospel of the Lord, that is a great
reward so, don’t count yourself out, if you have given to the
Lord and you plan to give as much as you can to the Lord,
there is definitely, saith the Lord, a reward to the giver of
my gospel and “I pay well,” saith the Lord. I will show you
where the Lord’s heart was. He called them out and they
worked all day nearly and He gave them wages and some
came in, in the late afternoon which is the Gentiles and He
gave them the same wages. He pays for his job. And I’ll tell
you what, you talk about here upon the earth, you talk about the
wages that you receive here, you ought to see the value that God
puts upon the prayers and the giving that He has in heaven, He
puts them in vials and we will get there. This sermon I’m
preaching is not to get an offering. No, no, no, I am only
bringing out a point. I am not taking up an offering now, I am
just bringing out a point that whatever you’ve given since
you were a little child, there is an angel of the Lord, there is
a recording of the Holy Spirit that is far more advanced
than a computer. If the government has a record of you, God
has 20 times plus billion times a perfect record. So, everything
that you gave unto the Lord has not been lost. I have the
authority of the Lord. He does not do as others, He rewards.
There will be a great reward for those that gave in the
gospel. Without those givers, the gospel would have been
curtailed. God would have had to do it by supernatural
means, but He wanted others. Why? He could have done it
by supernatural means, things could appear probably in the
tribulation, just before that, He will create, do certain
things, but He gave it this way that those would have to give,
so that they could share in the reward. The reaper and the
worker together would rejoice and not just the one that He gave
it to, can you say amen? Don’t forget that you’ve got a reward
for what you’ve given. Some of these other things, you may not
have done much of, but let me tell you something, there is a
ministry of giving. I know that and the Lord knows that. Some
other people just fix it up in their life that you are able to do that.
I won’t dwell on that any further, but that’s what you do almost
every week or sometime or another, you are always giving.
Don’t forget and let the devil get you down hard and say, “Well,
I’m not doing anything here.” He will trap you there and you are
confused. God will bless you here, but the value of it is beyond
mortal conception what He will do for you. And the more that
you give and do for Him, the more that He will love and do for
you there because He will bless you like you’ve never been
blessed before.
15.
Now listen to this. Did you know there’s a mighty
reward for the intercessor? Can you say amen? Another
thing, what you spent upon the earth is done gone and it’s
done gone, but what you’ve given to God is still there and
growing. Can you say amen? He said store it up there. All
right, a mighty reward for the intercessor. Now, that is the
one that intercesses [intercedes] and did you know that there
are heavenly wages for each hour that you pray and each
burden that He puts upon you and those wages that God
gives you are higher than any earthly wages you could ever
work here? Just begin to compare the two together and that
will outrank it millions-fold, what you receive here. Every
heart-breaking hour there is a reward. There are wages in
heaven and it’s prayer that you pray. You pray for others and
you are burdened, and you intercess [intercede] every day,
God will give a reward to the intercessor. It’s one of the
mightiest rewards that you can receive too because you can
get people to do everything but that intercessory, when you
get in there, intercessing [interceding], praying what God
puts on you. Let me tell you of all the things upon this earth,
He puts the value on those prayers probably more than
anything because we find I believe it is Revelation chapter 5
and probably chapter 8, it says that the prayers that you
pray, here’s how much value He puts on them, He puts the
prayers that are prayed in vials, golden vials. How many of
you know that? And He keeps those vials, there is a reward!
He doesn’t keep anything else there but the prayer of faith
and there’s a substance. The Bible says in Revelation
chapter 5 and chapter 8, you will find that your prayers are
put in the vials. It’s the prayers of the saints, not the prayers
of the world, not the prayers of the organization, not the
prayers of the systems that are false. Not that, but it’s the
prayers of the saints, the ones to inherit heaven. Did you ever
realize how much value? I don’t believe you do, I don’t believe
anybody in here this morning or anybody that gets this cassette
realizes just how valuable the job that God has given you, and
these rewards are so great, don’t miss any of them, strive, work.
So, we pray and it’s far better than earthly wages. There’s going
to be a reward for musical talents, the bible says also for
singing and those kinds of jobs. Should you do it with your
heart and full of faith. And so, He has those kinds of
rewards.
16.
Now, listen to this, there is definitely, He said, blessed are
those that are persecuted for my sake. Did you know that some
people, I guess they have a type of ministry, or they have a type
of calling that they are going to have persecution more severely
than other people? And we’ve seen it in history; some were
persecuted more than others. But did you know there is a
reward for those who are persecuted? Can you say amen?
There is a great reward in heaven. So, Jesus said to stack up
treasures in heaven over the earthly treasures here. He will
bless you here, but don’t lose sight of the other world. So
many people have forgotten all about the rewards. Now He
is stopping me here and I am going to go to the scripture that I
forgot all about and read it. Listen to this real good here. Well,
listen, you can read it in Romans 14:10, it says, “But why doest
thou judge thy brother? or why doest thou set at nought thy
brother? For we shall all [Now listen to this, the word I want to
get] we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.”
Now, you don’t stand there and are judged for your sins
either, your sins have long been forgotten and are covered
by the blood of Jesus Christ. But each stands before the
throne for the rewards, and then they are there at the White
Throne, that is another situation, but your sins will be forgiven
now and will not be brought back into remembrance. “For it is
written as I live saith the Lord every knee shall bow to me, and
every tongue shall confess God. Are you with me now? See not
a thing, all, ALL, shall be there and that’s in the scripture. So, we
see it, and take it as important. And so we watch for the
treasury, the heavenly one, it is more important. The angels
are filling up our accounts. There is a reward for those who
help in the gospel work that we have here, and we are
talking about a great reward, those who are behind the
Capstone ministry. But I really believe this, if you love the
ministry, what God has done in the building, the work that’s
going out, every dollar everything, every prayer that you do
that gets the literature out in the country and wherever it
goes you will not miss your reward. God will be with you,
remember that. I don’t know how the people, I’ve known your
names sometimes that passed through there. In fact, just a few
days ago, there were two things God gave me. You’ve been
burdened; God will meet your needs. I’m going to talk about that
a little bit more how He appears sometimes to me. He is helping
the church. My ministry works in different ranges there, but He
appears and shows me and on the list the people to pray for and
believe me, He delivers. We just got this letter, and I’ll bring this
in here. She wrote to me a while back and she had a severe heart
attack. She just kind of felt down in the dumps like that. But she
had a heart attack, and she went to the doctor and the doctor told
her what was wrong with her and started giving her some things.
So, she wrote to me, and asked me to pray for her. She told me
that without that they would have to do special things to her and
so forth. And so, I prayed for this woman, but before that all this
happened. I saw it when it came from the Lord to pray for this
woman already in advance and I prayed for the woman. It wasn’t
long till a letter came back. That’s why I remembered the case, it
was a name that God had given me and this woman sent back.
She said, “I went to the doctor, he gave me all these x-rays,”
different things, whatever they do for the heart, I can’t remember
it all. And she said, “He looked at me and he said there’s not a
thing wrong with your heart. I don’t know what happened. He
says you don’t have any heart trouble.” She wrote me back. She
said, “Brother Frisby, all I got is his word and the machine.”
She says, “I don’t feel like I used to. I feel well.” She said,
“What can you say?” What can you say? God is wonderful is
what you can say? He knows a heart that really is getting out of
there. I brought that in; I think we got that letter about a week
ago.
17.
So listen, He knows all about it. He will bless you. He will
be with you. God is really great. Now, we are going to look at
this. If you help, there’s a reward, it says a prophet’s reward
Many people ask me what my calling is. I’m going to write
about it sometime. All I know is, it’s a prophet of apostolic
order, and that’s all I want to say about it. I don’t want to
get myself in here. God knows all about it. Now, you will
receive a prophet’s reward. All could receive rewards and
all kinds of rewards, this is just a few, keep those in your
heart. Remember this when you hear it or in book form how
it comes, strive, find something that you can do for the Lord.
No matter what it is, giving, whatever it is, testifying,
striving for the reward that’s coming because it’s going to be
great. You will have eternal life. Paul had that, but he
strived for something else. Paul was after the prize, no
wonder he was like a man running a serious race and now
we can see why he was so faithful. That’s the key word. He
was very faithful. Jesus proved this at the cross and it means
so much to Jesus. Jesus speaks boldly in the scriptures, and
He spoke in the parables about our rewards in those
parables. Our rewards are hidden and He speaks boldly and
He speaks confidently many times about these remarkable
rewards that’s coming to the saints. So, it says here, but now
let’s awaken and we can strive remembering He has not
forgotten us, but He’s ever had us on His mind in His record
books. And so, we strive and we want to do that, and this
message came because He woke me and said, “Wake them
up, tell them.” See, you are awake to a lot of spiritual things.
You are awake to salvation, to healing, to the coming of the
Lord, you are awake, but some of you and it has to be this
way, you are not awake to the remarkable rewards and the
fascinating things that God has for His children. Salvation is
a gift and it’s wonderful. Healing is a gift and it’s wonderful.
Eternal life is a gift and it’s wonderful, but don’t forget all of His
benefits, David said. He said the Lord will sit upon the throne of
David. My, look at the reward God gave David! The Lord
couldn’t help but to tell him ahead of time. What kind of a
reward that the very Eternal God will sit on your throne! What a
gift! The thing is this when He says it to David, no matter, look
what happened to David there, so He means what He says. He
knew he meant what he said and David knew that. He believed
God with all his heart. And so we have all these rewards here
and He wants to bring that to attention. And I think the church
as a whole, the body of Christ, I know I don’t even think about it
as much as I should, but I do because I am constantly going
through the scriptures. And I read in the parables, and I read the
different things that are in there and so, I have it in my heart,
into my system, but as far as preaching to bring it to the people,
I’ve never dwelt on it this much. But I really believe that you
are awake concerning salvation and healings and so forth
the coming of the Lord, most of you, but many of you are
not awake to the real valuable rewards that God has, or He
wouldn’t have told me that about waking you up.
18.
So, while you are here upon the earth don’t think, you
know, in sadness sit down, “Oh, I am just tired of waiting on the
Lord to come.” Think about what He’s got for you. Praise
Him, bless the Lord, pray each hour, pray He will reward
you for that, testify, whatever you’ve got to do, give. It
doesn’t make no difference, there is a reward, just
concentrate your mind on what the Lord will do and what
He is going to do for you. And He will bless the soul winner.
Can you say amen? So, we’ve got that there and so we’ve got all
these things, but He said be thou faithful and you shall
receive it. Don’t forget, He has His reward with Him to give
to each man. He said be thou faithful and you will receive a
crown too. And this is scripture, each day, each service that
you come here, you’re adding to your reward. Don’t forget
his heavenly benefits. I don’t base it all just on attendance,
but still that’s faithfulness. So, there will be a reward for
that. I tried to bring it in a complex kind of way, like bringing in
as many things as I could this morning. There are other things
too that can be done for faithfulness. Now listen to this, here are
some scriptures that I have here in 2nd Timothy 4: 7 & 8, “I
have fought a good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept
the faith.” He didn’t drop his faith, did he? I have kept the faith.
Isn’t that wonderful there? I fought a good fight, but it was not
a dirty fight. It was not an argumentative fight. Paul had to
stand his ground and he was challenged. He had to pull his
papers of apostleship, a chief one above all, but I have
fought a good fight. It was a clean fight. It was a fight of
faith. He challenged the devil with the power of God. Other
ministers didn’t fight that kind of faith around him and also
he got on them and had to write in the scriptures about their
actions and so forth, but Paul said I have fought a good
fight. In other words he was in a fight, and it was the fight of
his life and for the fight of the gospel and he fought it out,
but it was a clean-cut power fight. It was the power of the
Lord, the Word of the Lord, determination and strong faith
in God’s power. He was persecuted and he was obedient to
the end even to death. He said here, I finished my course, I
have kept the faith. See, in the fight, in the battle, He never
lost his faith. I know people who get to fighting and get to
challenge, and they will lose their faith. Paul didn’t do that;
so he done [did] it right. So, watch his words there. He was a
messenger to the church, even though John was on the Isles of
Patmos, he was another type of messenger. Paul was a
messenger to the church at that age, John was a great prophet
too. “Now henceforth, there is laid up for me….” Why? It’s
because he fought a good fight. He finished the course that God
had given him. He had kept the faith, so then, he gave the
answer “Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of
righteousness which the Lord the righteous judge…” See, we
will stand before the Righteous Judge. Oh my! Isn’t that
wonderful? “Which the Lord, the righteous judge shall give me
at that day and not to me only [Now, He’s not going to leave you
out] not to me only but unto all them also that love love his
appearing.” There’s the secret. Do you love the appearance of
the Lord in these services? Do you love His appearance as
He said He is going to come? Prophets and kings have wanted
to see the time. Jesus said the day that is coming, He said many
have wanted to see with their eyes the things that you are seeing
and won’t get to see it. Paul said that they love His
appearance, that’s expecting the appearance of the Lord,
looking for the appearance of the Lord and just love His
appearance, no matter how He appears, in a dove, and
however He would appear, they love His appearance of the
Holy Spirit. Can you say amen?
19.
I’ll tell you ninety percent or better of the churches all
over the world don’t love the appearance of the Lord. We
see that. They’ve got work and this going on, but as far as
loving His appearance, they don’t. So, Paul put that, “unto all
of them that love his appearance,” and that had to be put there.
So, be looking for Him. Love the power that He puts in the
services and the power that He blesses in the audience and His
power to bless the nations. God is great! His rewards are
eternal, too. They will not be changed or revoked when He
gives them to you, you’ve got them! David said he could count
on it, he will see Him sitting on that throne, He will be there,
their Reward. Can you say amen? God is really great, isn’t He?
And then here Jesus said this, Luke 24 :25 & 26, “Then he saith
unto them, Oh fools and slow of heart to believe all the prophets
have spoken.” He doesn’t call many people fools. Only one of
the times, you remember the rich fool that thought nothing about
the Lord at all. He didn’t have any scripture, didn’t go to church,
nothing, just thinking about the world. He called him one. And
now we see this, He called them fools. And he was on the road
to Emmaus there and He said this about the prophets. You know
all the rewards the prophets wrote in the Bible including Jesus
are there. And so, He said this here to them, “Oh fools and slow
of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken? Ought not
Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into glory.” And
behold. saith the Lord, you shall enter into my glory also. I have
restored all things, they are waiting, amen. Can you say praise
the Lord? You know, He called the unprofitable servant that was
cast out into darkness, He gave him, you know, a certain amount
of things to do and so forth, he just sat down on the Lord, you
know, no prayer, do nothing. But I’ll tell you, each one here
today can pray, can intercess [intercede]. You heard the rewards
to give, to help, to do this or to do that, the soul winner, and the
people that pray for others, it’s there. And so it’s here today,
and our reward, eternal life. What a gift! Simply for
obedience to His Word and repentance and standing with
God. Isn’t that marvelous? How many of you now see why God
does what He does? There won’t be too many getting there to get
these great rewards. But I’ll tell you what, that’s the thing we
want to strive for. Is that right? Can you say amen? How many
of you can say amen to that? And that’s true, this message here
is different from what we’ve spoken before. It’s kind of hard to
bring in the situation because you’re dealing with such
things, they [rewards] are not in the world now, you are
doing them, but they are to be received afterwards when you
meet Christ. People today think so much of what they are
getting now and those promises are true, too, but they are
thinking so much about that that they forget about the
other.
20.
And so the Lord has called us this morning into the
rewards of the Lord, so don’t be slow of heart to believe all
that the prophets said. He called them fools, He said too slow
of heart to believe all the prophets have said. And I believe
this morning, you don’t want to be slow of heart to believe
what Jesus gave us this morning. Can you say amen? So,
remember you are working for higher wages than you are
getting upon the earth. You are getting paid here but just
think about the eternal value. The wages per hour are much
higher than what you get here and I’m not talking just about
eternal life. And so, let us work together, let us share
together, and let the worker and the reaper rejoice together.
Let us work together for the gospel of Jesus Christ, a
hundredfold if you can believe it, with persecution and in the
world to come, all of the things that he has for us. And these
promises are true. There’s hundreds of them in the Bible.
He’s not going to leave you out. He is going to bless your
heart. There’s even a reward for those that do good things to
the brethren, even good thoughts towards the brethren. He
is a very meticulous Lord. I want you to stand on your feet
here, every one of you, contemplate this today. Remember the
four or five major things that you can remember, those things
that I told you this morning. Remember all that you’ve done
for Jesus has not been lost. As Paul said, now don’t be
shipwrecked and just quit, you know, He hasn’t forgotten all
those things. You may have given to the Lord and done
things for the Lord and then went on the wayside since you
were a young man, some of you in here have, but did you
know He never forgot and you come on back? He’s married
to the backslider, and you come on back to the Lord. I say
this by the authority of the Lord, He never did…you didn’t
lose that reward that you gave even when you were coming
and going, but I say He will pay. Can you say amen? It’s there
so people come in and out through their life but let me tell
you something, He’s not lost that first Sunday school
offering that you ever gave as a child. He hasn’t lost that
first prayer as a child, the first one that you testified as a
child. You may have gone to the wayside and you’ve come
back and to stay with the Lord now, all of it together will
meet you before the throne. So, let us add more, let’s stack
up the treasures in heaven. Can you say amen?
21.
And on the earth, seek you first the kingdom of God and
all of these things will be added. So, He is a marvelous God
reaching far out what He’s given us upon the earth! So, don’t
ever get sad because you’re not getting much here. Just praise
the Lord. Praise the Lord! Come on and praise the Lord. Can
you say Hallelujah? He hasn’t forgotten one testimony, but God
is really there. Come on. Let’s praise Him. Thank you for the
rewards. Come on, thank the Lord Jesus! Hallelujah! I will be
praying for the sick tonight in a special service. You are here.
