Well, you are waiting for a revival? He’s already given it. Why don’t you jump in? Amen. It’s really great. Well, the musicians are ready to go. Are you ready to go? All right, let’s pray a little bit and see what the Lord has here. Lord, all we before the Infinite One, the Lord Jesus. Oh, how you care for your people, Lord! Just a little faith will move you, and great faith, and great things are done. Now, touch thy people, Lord. Each one of them has a need, and whatever it is, Lord, guide them. If it’s a miracle, give them a miracle of healing, or whatever it is, Lord, you are right there with us. Oh, but we see the wind blowing in the tree, Lord. You are saying, “Come on up now.” Amen. We are getting ready to move out, Lord. I believe that, and you are going to lead your people. We are going into battle and out, up to heaven. How many of you believe that? Give the Lord a handclap! Thank you, Jesus. All right. You go ahead and be seated.
Now, you’ll be here tomorrow night and the next night, and we will just see if we can go right on in with it, amen, and let’s have revival. I know it’s kind of towards the end of the month. You know, a sermon, I will probably have it coming out, the Downer. A lot of preachers, you know, they preach, and then people, they get the downer, and they can’t get them out of the downers in there and so forth like that. But I will tell you what, the Lord is not down. You say amen? He is up, and He will bless your heart.
1.Now, tonight, I am going to preach this. Now, this sermon here, we will get it together, The Immortal Word, or the Eternal Word. Did you know what it boils down to, the Eternal Word, the Immortal Word? It boils down to one Word, the Truth. How many of you believe that? He told the Truth, and satan told the lies, but He told the Truth. And some wonder, even in churches today, they wonder, “Are Jesus’ words good? Are His promises real? Does He heal and bring relief? Can we depend on what He says? Does He cast out devils? Does He do wonders and signs? Can we depend on it? Oh, just a minute, we will find out. Does Jesus heal the sick today? Yeah” Does He do miracles and wonders among His people? Yes, yes, and yes! How many of you believe that? Now, I realize sometimes you don’t get them all healed. And sometimes there are a few that do not get their healing at that time, but I’ve watched, and they may swing back around and get it later, but we do see many miracles. While there are a few failures, there’s just too many miracles for people to say that God went out of the healing business. He’s never gone out of the healing business. The people went out of the healing business by their faith, but the Lord’s power is always the same. I am the same, yesterday, today, and forever. Call unto me, He said, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things that thou don’t even know anything about in there. But the Bible said this, “You do err, not knowing the scriptures of God.” The eternal life He gives us, and the many miracles He gives us, and so forth like that, and Jesus’ words are real. What He said can be no greater confirmation than what He was telling the people, and what He told us about what He would do. And listen to it real close here; the Immortal Word will never die, the Eternal Word, the Word.
2.In Luke 21:33 here, it says, “Heaven and earth…” Now you know the promises that He said and you know the things that He said, we could do and all of the prophecies that He gave and everything about the fig tree generation. All about the quakes and the pestilence in the end time, the signs in the heavens and all of the famines and droughts that He told about in His prophecies. And about the last generation that would see this, and He would come in the generation of the fig tree. He told all of these things. And He gave us His healing promises and He spoke the Word to us. And now when He’s finished speaking all of the Word, and He is telling them all of the miracles. He says here, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” Now what better confirmation can you have than the Great Creator making that statement? This old world will change one of these days and pass into a new one. The heavens will change, and they will pass into a new one now. But the words that He spoke, they are eternal. Satan cannot do it, no one can do it. His words are eternal; they shall not pass away. Everything in this universe that’s material can pass away, but the words that the Living God spoke to you, spoke to me, they shall never pass away, my! And then people go around, saying, can we depend on God’s Word? Does God heal today? Yeah, He most certainly does. And He said this, heaven and earth will pass away, but my words shall stand. All things are possible to him that believeth. Heaven and earth, saith the Lord, shall pass away, but those words shall never pass away. How many of you believe that? Oh, and when you get to heaven, you will even see more so, you will see more so! All things are possible to him that believeth. Even after you get there, what He opens up, what your little faith brought you, or how powerful a faith, or whatever you had, to get you there, you will see what I am talking about.
3.These signs, Jesus turned around and He looked, He said, these signs shall follow them that don’t believe, that doubt, that wonder, that ask questions about it. No. He said these signs shall follow them that believe. In other words, active, putting them into effect, believing the Word, clinging to those promises, knowing they are life and life themself. They are immortal and eternal. Why? They can heal anything, any amount of it. The dead are raised, and all of these things take place. And these signs shall follow them that believe. And then He said, the works I do, shall you do also. He told us, because I go and I come back, and you will do them. And then again, He said, heaven and earth, will pass away, but those words, they shall not pass away. The works I do, shall you do. How many of you believe that? And you know, Philip said, “Where is the Father?” And get who He is, if you want to really get into the real true miracle power and feeling and anointing and great wonders of God. Where is the Father? And He told Philip, “Have I been so long time with you and you failed to see who it is? He was the living God. How many of you believe that? As He told Philip, he asked Him no more questions about it. And you said, “Did Jesus say that?” Yes. And He turned around and He said, heaven and earth will pass away, but those words, saith the Lord, shall never pass away. How many of you believe that? You know, there isn’t a word in the Bible that you can change. And you know, Phillip got a ride from one city to the next after that. After that, he believed so strong in who the Lord Jesus Christ was. And if you believe it that way, you are going to get a ride from whatever city you are in, to the great city. How many of you believe that? One place to another, that’s exactly right. And what He spoke about Himself shall never pass away. And there, He said this, the works I do, shall you do and greater works, he said, shall you do. Because at the end of the age, the greater works, for a moment, they will come. Because the words with all of this revival, the latter rain, that all of a sudden gather them together, it is so unusual that many of them right where it’s going on, they will not be able to see it. But He will be here, and there, and He will come exactly like He spoke it would come there. The bible said this, at the end of the age, they would seemingly have their faith in everything but the Word of God. How many of you believe that?
4.He said this, ask and you shall receive. If you ask, then you have received it, but you cannot believe it yet. You see two things that He did already; He has healed us, He has given us eternal life, He has handed them to us. They are being refused every day by the people. And he said to every man, child, and woman born, a measure of faith is given unto you, each one of you, but they don’t use it. So two things, we have a measure of faith, it is up to us to use it or not to use it. And the promise is, by His stripes ye were healed. Now, He has given us the healing, eternal life, and all, we must believe that He has done this and automatically there is a manifestation of that Holy Spirit. He has tied it up in faith. He has it to where you must turn loose. Let your faith go out to Him and all of those promises will be manifested, every one of them. Ask and ye shall receive. Sometimes it takes people a little bit longer than it does other people. But if they cling to it, the providential acts of God, if something’s not going to hurt you or He doesn’t want you to do, then it will be released to you. You know, I was preaching a while back and when I was preaching, I said that you won’t get all of your prayers answered because even some of the prophets didn’t because they’d been wrong. And I said, lest you become spoiled and lose God, probably. But in the Bible, the reason that He did that, if you got every one of your prayers answered, you’d be going in the wrong direction because you don’t ask in the right way to go, saith the Lord. Did you catch that? You say, if God answered every one of my prayers, I would be going the wrong direction? Yeah, I’ve seen people pray and they no longer needed to go to China. They no longer need to go here. They no longer needed to go there. They no more need to go anywhere than anybody in the world. He doesn’t answer every one of them and by that, it saves you from going in the wrong direction at any time of your life. Making the wrong move is why it’s not answered sometimes. You’d go in the wrong way and finally, if you got every one of them answered that you wanted, “Oh, I am going to do this,” you’d be out of the will of God finally. So, because of His eternal plan for the elect and His eternal plan for this planet, He allows some of those not to take place. Sometimes He will allow somebody to get what they asked for and it ain’t very long until they say, “Oh, me, I don’t think that’s what I wanted now.” You see, I don’t know. And people get off, they go here and they go there in different jobs, different places, different things can happen, all kinds of things can happen there.
5.So He said, ask and you shall receive. Knock and the door shall be opened. You notice these little scriptural promises are treasures, they are positive. They are right to the point. There is no if and ands, but it states it just like faith is. It states just like faith works. Ask and you shall receive. Knock and the door shall be opened. All things are possible to him that believe it and all of the miracles and all of the promises, they are point blank. And He is a Rewarder to those that diligently seek after Him. Do you believe that? In other words, stay in a trend of thought, stay in a line of thought with the Lord. And when you stay in that trend and that line of thought, you’ve got Him there. In my name, ye shall cast out devils. Does He cast out devils today? If somebody at the slightest notion wants a devil out, he will leave. Amen. When you have power there, he will do that. He shall cast out devils in my name, do signs and wonders in my name, do miracles and wonders in my name. He will do all of these things. Heaven and earth, saith the Lord, shall pass away, but my words and my promises will never and cannot ever pass away. How many of you believe that? They are eternal as He spoke them, and as eternal as He is, and as eternal life. That’s why we have eternal life. They are eternal and the very words that we read convert us and bring us into the Lord. How many of you believe that? Oh, that’s exactly right. And so He gives us these promises, in my Name, ye shall do this and it will be wrought by faith. And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words shall not pass away, they shall remain. So today, people are saying, you know, does God? He’s already done it. Does God do what? He’s already done it. Does God save? Does God heal? Does God prosper? Does God do this? Does the Lord do that? He’s already done it. Get off of your… I almost said the wrong word and got it, saith the Lord. How many of you believe that?
6.There is just no effort today. One or two little prayers; “I can’t go no further.” Two minutes, two minutes. You know the Lord, in the heavens, He must have a little humor about it all, but there is one thing about it; He’s a very, very serious, a very businesslike person with us. And those promises are really His will. It’s not God; He is not stagnant, it is not the Lord that’s holding my mind. His hands are not short, His arm is not short to save and heal, He says. But it’s the people, the effort of the people, one day they are up and the next day, you don’t know what they are believing in. One day they can believe, and the next day they are hung up here. See, you don’t know. Stay in that steady stream. Stay in that trend. The devil will take a shot, he will do this, he will do that, he will throw his darts, the bible says. You have the full armor on. He will try to knock you off the path, he will try to beat you off the path, he will try to take you off the path and try to make you doubt God. He will try all these things, but the Lord has already spoken it, and he cannot change what the Lord has said. He can change you, he can try to change you, he can try to change circumstances, he can try to change this, but he cannot. He cannot change what the Ever-Living God has given to us, it is yours. You want revival? It’s in the heart and your soul. You begin to get that motor started, and you ask God to supply all the gas you need. Amen. He will do it for you. And I will restore, saith the Lord, I will restore. Sure, people wait for great outpourings that come on larger groups of people, but you can kind of look around at the end of this latter time, and if you have it in your heart, you can have revival every day. And it may come along in a larger group, but you may, in your revival, you can have restoration, peace, rest, happiness, joy, all of these things, even though the world is sinking. The world is on a suicide binge, it looks like, and they don’t know which way exactly to go on a roller coaster. But you know, they try to disturb the Christians and take their mind off of the Lord. They cannot change it and so stay firm, stay steady. God then will see you through every problem, every trial, every test, because you remembered the Lord in your heart, and you kept Him in your thoughts, and you loved the Lord, and you believed His Word. And He has given us unsearchable riches of His promises.
7.Oh, abounding treasure, I preached about there! And all the Word of God was given to us, all of it. He said, it’s for inspiration for reproof, correction, and for revelation. It is all good, the bible said, so, you can work miracles by faith. And then the Bible said this, these signs shall follow them that believe. He said, “I shall return. I am coming again.” He shall come again, the angel said. Paul said, the Lord Himself shall come. Heaven and earth, says the Lord, shall pass away, but that promise will prove true. I am coming again now, and I shall return now. How many of you believe that? It’s exactly right. So does God what? He does all of these things. It is up to us to discover, it is up to us to put them into effect, and He shall return such great miracles, the Immortal Word. So don’t ever ask God, does God? He does. But do you, saith the Lord, believe? Wilt thou be made whole? Faith is dead without action or works. How many of you believe that? The lepers said, “Why sit here until we die” (2 Kings 7:3)? And boy, they got up and they were rewarded. How many of you believe that? Wilt thou, the famous words that Jesus looked up at him and looked back at the man, He said, “Wilt thou be made whole?” It’s up to you. And then He would say, “Be of good cheer, take up thy couch, rise, walk, thy sins are forgiven thee.” It’s just easy for me to forgive your sins [as] is for you to get out of there and walk. It is faith, faith in the Lord Jesus.
8.I want you to stand to your feet. His words of salvation are true as they will ever be. I will in no wise cast you out. He is faithful to forgive. If you confess your sins, He is faithful to forgive. He will not cast you out. You might try to flee from the Lord, but He said, I will never leave thee, and I will never forsake thee. The immortal words boil down, the eternal truth boils down, to the truth. How many of you believe that? That’s exactly right. Heaven and earth pass away and change into new things, but His Word will never have to change, it will only be fulfilled, saith the Lord. Revival is revival, salvation, waters of salvation to His people, and there’s not a whole lot of long time to get ready. What you are going to do for the Lord, thou doest it quickly because He is coming. How many of you believe that? You know, and His promises in the bible, He said, “In a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, suddenly, behold I come quickly.” Those words are swift, powerful words. So it means that the revival that is coming is like a twinkling of an eye. Behold, I come quickly and suddenly. It means the revival is going to be quick, powerful, and over with. How many of you believe that? That’s why He put those words there.
9.So, you do not have long, and that’s what He wanted me to say way back in the sermon, and I kind of got on some promises there and He brought that back in. That’s why those words are used in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, and behold, I come quickly. All of a sudden! I am telling you, a lot of people may be thinking they are going to have plenty of time, and all of a sudden, the number of the elect are in, and that’s all that counts right then to Him, and the door is shut! How many of you believe that? So tonight, salvation, He still has His hand out, and it’s time for you, if you want to come in, someday that will be closed out. You want to get in and do something for the Lord Jesus.
10.If you need salvation tonight, I want you in that line tonight, and I will pray for you. If you need healing tonight, perhaps you already have salvation, some of you, I know you do. If you need healing tonight, and you haven’t had a chance to get here for a while, and you’ve got back problems or any kind of cancer or a tumor, any kind of arthritis, asthma, oppression, devils, any kind of demonic power that would oppress you or even try to possess you. Whatever you need, and any kind of pain, stomach problems, heart problems, it makes no difference tonight. We are not televising, you will get a chance. If you will come quickly now to this side, and you are suffering tonight, and you want God to do something for you, come over on this side. About eight or ten of you can come on this side. Why don’t we get five or six real good testimonies to come over here, a healing testimony now? Come over here and testify on this side. Let’s start this revival. Let’s get things rolling out here. I don’t care if it’s towards the end of the month. You know what? Get happy, and it won’t matter what time, saith the Lord it is. That’s right. It’s great! Let’s get some testimonies over here, a couple, three more. You know, you want Jesus to do more for you, then you’ve got to talk to Him about it, and tell Him what He’s done for you, and He will do more for you. Some people said, “You know, the Lord did something to me one time, and you know, I never saw it, it was so great, but He hadn’t done much for me since.” Yeah, and you haven’t talked anything about it since, amen. Testify to His great works, the bible said, and His wonders, and He will bless your heart. Okay. You want to come over here? Praise the Lord!
PRAYER LINE
Now, if you will be back here tomorrow night, every one of you, and if you didn’t get on the platform tonight, if the Lord moves in that direction or however He moves on me, you will be here and see what He will do for you. You know, there’s a blessing just sitting out in those seats out there. Revival, revival. Now, we are going to have some music, and I am going to pray a mass prayer for every one of you now for the Lord to keep you, for the Lord to bring you back into His realm, back into His Holy Spirit.
